Quote:Who was the guy wearing the red ball dress? I didn't see him but my friend said there was one. I LoL'd.I had a great time at the meet and greet!
My only regret is that I didn't get to talk to every single person there.
And, I didn't get the userhandles of some of the people I did talk to, hehe.
Did you win any of the raffles? I didn't, but I agree with you it was still a lot of fun.. though I wanted to go bowling too, but there was a 2 hour wait on lanes, so we opt'd out. -
Yep. Ambushes can follow you up/down elevators, and also into stores. (provided there aren't drones outside the store or somewhere on the path from their spawnpoint to the door)

At first I was thinking it was the split-screen feature, but turns out that's Windows+Left/Right
To be on the safe side, try checking the Control Panel for "Ease of Access", and look through the options and see if anything catches your eye, especially the "Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen" option.
Maybe it's not what's causing it, but it might be worth a look. -
Quote:The powersets are a GR feature, and you will need GR to unlock/use them.I believe that's wrong. I imagine that people who don't buy GR will still be able to use DP, DS KM and EC. They will just be coming with the GR update I imagine. GR as far as I know consists of Praetoria and the side-switching system (and the one level of Incarnate).

IIRC, you cannot delete temp powers that you get from/during TFs, and they are always availale even when the "no temp powers" option is selected.
Since that power is a reward for completing a SF, I'm not sure if that qualifies. Also, because you can run the SF again and get another copy of the power, I don't see why else you wouldn't be able to delete it. -
Quote:You are not allowed to have titles in all CAPS... silly, I know. lolNot sure why it decided to change my capital PAX to Pax in the title....
Anyway, more from the event:

-
After re-sizing, just grab the line that divides it in the middle and drag it to the position you want it.
Alternately, if you want different sized chat windows for different things, you can open the extra chat windows (1,2,3,4) and undock them whoever you want. -

If progress wasn't saved, there would be no need for a progress meter.
On a side note, the badges are awarded serverside, not by the client.. so there would be no reason for it to reset from session to session unless there was a bug serverside. -
Quote:Does the game even remember, from session to session? I was under the impression (admittedly unfounded) that the game would forget which plaques you had touched if you logged.Quote:Yes.
I have no idea what gave you that idea. It flies in the face of evidence of the badge progress meters.
Like Snow said, the progress bars on most of the badges will tell you how many more plaques you have to touch, but wont tell you specifically which ones. -
Quote:It applies to any public facility, not just bars and restaurants, and it's not just Boston, but the entire state. Since you can't even smoke on the sidewalk within 20 feet of the entrance door to any such facility, I doubt any private rooms would allow it either. The law exempts private clubs when not open to the public, but I don't think that applies here.Boston has a smoking ban in all bars and restaurants. I believe this also applies to private rooms.
As for the snow, it did flurry a little here this morning, but there isn't supposed to be any accumulation at all... so don't bother wearing boots (especially since boots are not permitted inside Jillian's either). But yes, it is supposed to stay chilly (in the 30s) for the next day or so though, so at least bring a jacket. -
Yes, but if you try to post a formatted bio with line breaks into it, none of the line breaks show up when you paste it in. Then you'll have to add them again anyway.
The key to getting the position of the line break in the right spot is to use your arrow keys to arrow left and right to the position before hitting Enter. Do not click on the interface or it will result in "random" placement. Start at the beginning or end and arrow your way through your Bio.
If that doesn't work, then add an extra letter to the end of a line and then press the left arrow to go behind it. then press Enter and it will Line break between those characters. Then you can delete the extra letter you added as well. -
As Catwhoorg mentioned, Pocket D is a common place for these teleports to be "wasted" because of the [Dampening Field] not allowing any kind of Teleport.
If you see this icon, don't bother trying to use any of those TP powers:
Alternately, those powers can also sometimes be interrupted by people laying down and using Ouroboros Portals. This is very annoying and frustrating behavior. To try to prevent this, I try to move away from populated areas before using them.
In the case of being on a TF when I know team members are going to be using portals after the mission and preventing me from successfully setting off my [Mission Transporter] or [Consignment House Transporter], I simply use the Ouro Portal from inside the mission so I zone directly to Ouroboros where you will never get interrupted. lol -
I'm using an old version and mine still lists it.
It's found at the bottom as an Inherent power. -
Quote:I was under the impression that command only worked for trays 1 2 and 3. It seemed "<tray>" in that command references the tray positions, not the tray numbers themselves. I thought tested it before in a previous thread about the same subject, but I guess not. That command will certainly work providing you are using the tray number, not the tray's window number. You could also use /powexectray <slot> <tray> with slot and tray replaced with the appropriate numbers.
ie. to execute the power in slot 3 on tray 7: /powexectray 3 7
Well, my trick is still kinda cool anyway. lol
Quote:I don't think that will work, since, you know.... all commands in a macro/bind execute at EXACTLY the same time. It would have to be combination of several macros and several keypresses, using each macro to load the next. Kind of like how my Force Field macros work in my guide.
My bind works just fine because I also tested it before posting.
Quote:This would seem to be the simplest way. Why would anyone want to bind trays (outside of a Kheldian)? And now with the ability to have more than three trays open, switching trays is less necessary than before.
Even though my bind uses the gototray command, no tray is actually changed, and having the actual tray open in another location is beside the point. -
Not by direct position number, no.. unless you get tricky. (see below)
You can still bind any of the powers in those slots by their powername instead though.
Being tricky to get it to work..
Assuming you have tray1 in the bottom slot, you can program a key to set off any power by it's position in any tray with the following bind:
/bind KEY "gototray #$$powexecslot #$$gototray 1"
That will switch the bottom tray to the one the designate by the first #, then activate the power you designate by slot #, and return the tray back to tray 1 (it goes so fast you wont even see the tray switch, but the correct power still activates).
So if you want something from tray number 7, in position 8, the bind would be:
/bind KEY "gototray 7$$powexecslot 8$$gototray 1"
(If your bottom tray is not tray1, simply change that part of the bind to the number of the tray you usually keep there.) -
Sounds like you might have something else running that's taking back the focus.

I have it slotted in Invincibility. It's no longer allowed, but I slotted it back when it was still allowed, and it still works. It's fun standing in the middle of a mob and seeing the orange numbers every 10 seconds from a power that's not even an attack. lol
-
No, lvl 23 set bonuses would NOT be in effect.
The lvl 20 powers will still work, and any enhancements for that power will still work for that power, but the set bonuses themselves will not be effective because you are EXd to lvl 15.
Simpler Answer: lvl 18
Honestly, you'd probably be better off just using lvl 50 IOs. Even if you don't have the set bonuses, the enhancement values themselves would be a lot higher. -
Quote:The wiki lists Rularuu by itself as "Rularuu Weapons and Shields", so I wasn't sure if Nemesis was available or not. Then again, there is another vague one called "Special Weapons and Shields", so it could have been that one.Nemesis/Rularuu weapons are indeed available in the AE for custom mobs.
Either way, I just checked the AE Custom Character Creation area and the Nemesis Rifles are indeed included. I'm not sure which specific option unlocked them though. I'll have to check a different account that does not have them unlocked to see if the description is any clearer in-game.
Edit:
The in-game description states the Nemesis Rifles are included with the "Special Weapons and Shields" option for 50 tickets.
Rularuu is a completely separate category. -
Quote:Rewards related to earning defeat badges are only awarded to that character. Your other characters would also need to earn the badge themselves to unlock those items.I'm looking to unlock the nemisis guns but if I get it will they be unlocked for my account or just that charicter? Also, are they available to use for custom groups in Mission Arcitect?
As for unlocking AE content at the Ticket Vendor, those are account-wide so you can create that content on any character. As for whether or not those weapons are currently available in AE.. I am not sure. The wiki does not list them:
Ticket Vendor : Unlockable Mission Architect Features : Unlockable Costume Pieces -
Quote:Yes, the area north of PI can host mission doors, even a rare Radio mission, but that area is only named Monster Island by the Player Base, so I assumed the OP was referring to the actual Villainside zone.It may not happen anymore, but a number of years ago one of the 45+ arcs had one door mission that had a chance to spawn on Monster Island in PI... I've only seen it happen once though and that was 3-4 years ago. I've no idea offhand which arc it was after all this time.
The areas north of PI are officially named Tempest Quay and Cutlass Isles. In fact, the "neighborhoods" inside the Monster Island Zone are even called the same thing. -
If you are talking about AE, then no. I am not aware of any instanced mission maps that use that area, and there is currently no way to program AE mission entrances to take place anywhere but inside the AE building.
