<--- has my I-D-10-T form framed and on the wall. Took me two months to figure out how to use the trams!
-Wolf sends
[/ QUOTE ] Umm.. that's not a certificate. You were supposed to fill it out and send that back.
Looks like now I'll have to send you another one. haha -
[ QUOTE ]
To do this you can go into the options menu.(in the ingame menu) then you can go under the grapics tab and then scroll all the way down. it should be right there.
[/ QUOTE ] Yes, he was asking for a code to change it without having to go into the menu. I got light blue by using 99999999, but I also got a slightly darker blue with 55555555, so I don't know how that adds up, lol. -

so sorry, forgot to put QR at the top. my bad.
[/ QUOTE ] no biggie.. but you can see how there can be some slight confusion when you forget. -
[ QUOTE ]
how is it a different problem? he is describing it on a team not solo.
[/ QUOTE ] You replied to Leech, instead of "QR"ing to the OP.
Leech was replying to MaestroMavius, who was describing a different issue... while solo. -
[ QUOTE ]
actually all you have to do is quit the team and then join again. at least that has been my experience when this happens.
[/ QUOTE ] unless the arc was invalid due to a map change or other error after an update...
And he said he was solo... unless you meant to "QR" the OP instead of reply to Leech? -

also i still havent found the new costume part i unlocked. when i turned 24 as widow and was able to respec it said on my screen "new costume part unlocked"
any idea what this part mite be? maybe im just over looking.
~thanx
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, the unlocked part wouldn't have anything to do with you turning 24 or being an SoA. What were you doing at the time? Have you been awarded any Defeat badges recently? There are some unlockable Claws you may have accessed. This is probably the most likely case. As a Widow however, you won't actually be able to use those Claws.
But really, as a level 24 it couldn't have been either of the Claws. Vanguard Claws require becoming a member and collecting Vanguard Merits to unlock them and you're way too low to have unlocked the Rularuu Claws.
I'm stumped on this one.
[/ QUOTE ]
Lvl 24 is the forced Respec.
Any time you respec a character with customizable weapons, it basically takes the weapons away, and it will say "unlocked costume piece" when you are re-issued the weapon at the end of the respec. -

And no, temp powers ignore buffs.
[/ QUOTE ]
Are you sure about that, Mateo?
According to the numbers my accuracy appears to go up on Sands of Mu, Ghost Slaying Axe and Nemesis Staff whenever I use accuracy inspirations.
Swallowing yellows before a Self Destruct always seems to insure that I hit all the enemies in my range. Is it really just blind luck?
[/ QUOTE ] Well temp powers are supposed to ignore buffs, but maybe that only applies to their Damage. The info is a little vague as far as tohit and accuracy goes.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, to be precise, Veteran Reward temporary powers ignore all personal buffs except Accuracy/To-hit. All other Temp powers can be buffed even with Rage, BU, inspirations, Power Up etc.
[/ QUOTE ] [Self Destruct] reads "Ignores buffs and enhancements" in it's damage info. -
[ QUOTE ]
Are you entering the AE mission from the same building the other players did, or are you in a building located in another zone?
For some reason you don't seem to be able to enter AE missions from a different building than the leader of the team did.
[/ QUOTE ] Mission location is selected depending on which set of contacts the leader gets the mission from. The leader never even has to go inside the mission.
You can activate the arc at any station (even portable), but you still have to set the mission by talking to the contact. The Arc's contact will be in every AE building, but the mission door wont be decided until you talk to one of them. The door will always be in the same zone as that contact you talked to. You can even switch zones mid-arc (if you ever felt the need) by talking to a different zone's AE Contact inbetween missions.
But yes, once a door is decided, you can't enter it from a different zone. -

Do inspies buff temp powers?
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, Inspirations are a global buff.
[/ QUOTE ] But some powers "ignore buffs", in which case, yellows wouldn't make a difference.
You can't make it do more damage by popping reds first either. -
Keep in mind the check is done when the power first activates. Only foes within range at that time would be affected 10 seconds later, regardless if new foes came into range, or if the existing foes moved out of range.

It does come with a nice double sided map of ParagonCity/ Rogue Isles. Not that useful for vetrans, but it is a nice way for newer players to see which zones border on each other
[/ QUOTE ] Can't you just click on "City" on your in-game map? lol -
[ QUOTE ]
....
Can that be obtained by using an Aoe or aura on an MI's spawns to get in some damage and then just let them despawn? Or do we have to actaully defeat the phantasms completely and only the phantasms (not the other ILL pets)?
....
Can we get the ILL badge that way?
[/ QUOTE ] Yes. You only need to do as much as -1 on them. You don't have to fully defeat them. You'll get the credit when they vanish. -

And if anyone can do that, it's him.

More realistically, we're probably looking at just over 5 hours though. I'll try to burn that down as much as I can. -

I didn't know I could have both Invul and WP.. lol j.k
That does sound pretty unbeatable though. lol
She was created before WP came out. She is Invul/Axe.
And how come not 30 minutes? lol j.k I know you want the XP. -

What DumpleBerry said. And yes, "cc 5" will switch to the 6th costume.
However, in my experience, it's not always a copy of the second slot either, it seems to be a duplicate of whichever costume you are currently wearing when the slot is added, so lik ehe said.. make it something good before you earn it, then edit your existing slot to something else and you'll have 6 different costumes.
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh, then what would happen if I was wearing the VEAT costume at the time? Would I get a second VEAT costume and be able to do my helmet and non-helmet versions finally?
[/ QUOTE ] Think about what happened when you got your second slot on your VEAT.. Your costume was stripped to mostly generic parts, but keeping the same colors you had before.
The same thing would happen to your 6th slot if you were in your 1st costume when you unlocked it. -

Although I can't seem to figure out what type of "COLOR" codes to use in the bind... It's some variation of 00000000 to ffffffff. -

Next week starts the dreaded Shadow Shard TF's.
[/ QUOTE ] I've been looking forward to it. I love that place! lol
[/ QUOTE ]
Me too!
The only thing that really bugs me is that Faathim refuses to give you his transdimensional phone number...
[/ QUOTE ] Indeed. For some hunts or relatively short missions, it can be beneficial for the leader to stay at the contact... unless the Leader can get back to him very quickly. -
[ QUOTE ]
The quickest run I've been on was a little over 4 hours. The next quickest was 6ish hours. The longest was spread over 3 days and was somewhere around 8ish hours.
That team was slightly cursed however. We had some whiney people along who didn't want to stay up past midnight each night, we didn't have a tank, our emp had to be late the second night, and we only had 6 people to start off with.
I'm personally expecting 4-5 hours-ish for my team. The biggest problems with this TF is the massive amounts of travel time and the defeat alls on huge maps.
Edit: I've heard of teams doing it around 3 hours, but those teams were very specialized with a large number of Vet Players who had Team Teleport. Travel times really slow this stupid TF downThe times listed above are based on runs I've been on, as well as some I've seen Mr. E do.
[/ QUOTE ] This.
I've been on a 3 hour team, but that was all lvl 50s, and most of us already having done it at some point before. I've done them all several times on several characters. As MrE and Luna can attest to, I certainly know my way around the shard. I use the geysers and usually get there first, and even when I don't, I'm right behind. (The only reason I refused TP form them was when I was close to the destination and using the travel opportunity to continue uncovering my map).
On Phanta, I don't have SJ (to give air control), so I'll have to adjust the way I travel a little, and get a flight pack (just in case). I might practice a bit and uncover some areas ahead of time as well. It's been a while since I've been there.
Anyway, I expect it to take a little longer with a possibly lowbie team, so hopefully we'll be able to SK up to 50 and get through it as quickly as possible. I'd like to be done by 2am. -

Let's just do an All-Tank LGTF? I'll bring Tabby.. rofl
If not, I'll just bring Robin (as usual), or start using my Emp some more again. -

Or you can use a tank (or two) to herd the Master Illusionists into a corner somewhere and have a Fire Controller (or two) put Fire Cages on Auto.
The Immob keeps the MIs in place. The DoT damages the Ills enough to get credit for them when they vanish, and the DoT is not enough to kill the MIs.
There is no running around to do, you don't even have to be at the computer, and it usually takes significantly less time than your method.
I have a lvl 41 mission saved on one of my characters and have run this several times.
