I just tried to solo the TF on MB and I was able to get past the part we got stuck at. I think the team leader has to get the final blow on the boss so it allowed me to activate the portal and go through to the next part of the mission. I submitted the information to support.
I still couldn't finish the mission because of an AV.. but at least my test was successful. lol -

That screen unfortunately requires you to enter a password (and pw verification) every time you want to change your avatar or signature.
Maybe it doesn't like the content of your signature. It could be too long or something... or your avatar is not in the correct format. -
I logged into test server several times today, and I'm actually on it now too.

Yeah, there is currently a Veteran Rewards problem. Check your NCSoft account management page to see when you were supposed to be due for it, and send in a ticket. Good luck. -

Yes, there are at least 16 arena badges this issue, including one accolade:
Individual PVP badges
Accolade
There may also be a badge called "Contender" but I haven't found what would earn it. The Accolade is awarded by earning the five Victor badges shown in the first link.

I agree having Justiciar in the screenshot is a little odd, but it was probably just shown for badge positioning, and obviously wasn't intended to mean it was new. -

[/ QUOTE ] The OP didn't ask for an alternate installtion procedure. They asked for the removal or change of the "horrid music". The problem here is the Disc installations do not include a way to disable the music. That is not solved.
While the OP may go a different route now for future installs, it's still a good SUGGESTION so that new players wont be faced with the same problem. Besides that, not everybody agrees that it's even a problem.. it's just a suggested feature to add a "mute music" toggle to the installation process.
The music during the installation program is working as designed, and working as intended. Just because the OP does not like the design and deciding to HiJack the sound off doesn't make it a technical issue. That was the OP's choice. As many have pointed out, if the OP felt the music was not to his/her liking, they can simply reduce the volume. There was no error, problem or conflict with the application forcing him to do anything. -

I could see a 'Spy' AT as you say (Epic available to both sides) and introduced with GR would make sense, but I'd almost expect that it would be the Hallmark of the Expansion and showcased even more than Maelstrom and Desdemona. Of course, it's still a good way down the pike... apparently. So there's plenty of time to give a new Epic its props.
Still, I'd really wonder what a 'Spy' AT could/would do that would make it a whole lot different than a Bane. I just dunno.

In the long run, depending on screen color fluctuations and the use of the Chart; it's still probably easier, at least while ingame, to use the old grid system to share colors on the fly.
[/ QUOTE ] This.. light from the area you are standing in and/or the time of "day".. along with auras and other effects can largely affect the way the costume colors look as well. that can cause some confusion about what color to pick in the creator. -

The original post was correctly placed into this forum thread. It does not belong anywhere else. By posting here, he/she has discovered a way to download the game without having to listen to the horrible music. Downloading problems = technical issues.

[/ QUOTE ] But the Original Post was not about downloading problems... so your logic does not apply. Getting rid of installation music (or giving somebody the option to turn it off) is still a suggestion, not a technical issue or bug.
Yes, I provided a way to get around it.. but I provided it as another suggestion.. not because it was specifically asked for. Posting in the suggestion forum could have yielded the same results.
Either way.. new players might not know what the updater is or how it works, so they'd probably install off the disc also, and possibly have the same "problem"... so the suggestion is still valid regardless if there is a workaround or not. -

/unbind F6
/unbind F7
/unbind F8
/unbind F9
That will reset them back to the client defaults and display with the correct colors. The only time those keys should be broken if you bound them yourself or ever did a /bindload with those keys in the text file. (Keep in mind that making a new character will also load your default keybinds.txt file, which will also break those keys if you don't remove them from the file beforehand.)

I have never made any changes f6, f7, or f8. The only one I've ever changed was f9 to switch it from local to broadcast. (It never made sense to me why they would default the 'looking for team' call out to local since its something that would serve one better if it were in broadcast)
Anyway, the default code used by the devs to change text colors for f6, f7, and f8 just started to mess up out of the blue one day (can't remember exactly what day that was, but its been an issue release or two ago)
And where did my default keybinds.txt file come from? The default supplied from the game. I know I had to "Save Default" at some point, which I did. But only to make the change to that f9. The rest are the dev's default.
[/ QUOTE ] When you hit "Save Default", all it does is copy your current character binds to a text file... ALL of them. It will still save the "dev defaults" like you said.. but it's loading those commands again later that will break the other keys, even if you didn't alter anything.
Like I said, an /unbind of that key will load the bind internally instead, and fix the keys. It's easier to just remove those keys from your keybind file so you wont have to bother with it.
And btw, this has been since i12 when the chat interface was first revamped to include the clickable text and colored names. -

The command is "macroslot". If you used a space, it would make a macro named "slot" and mess up the rest of your command string.
Also, you don't use slashes in the command strings or you'd get "Unknown command: /broadcast" error messages. The slash at the beginning of text tells the client to issue the command that follows. That's already implied in binds and macros. The command is "broadcast", not "/broadcast"
BTW, the numbers for the third tray are actually 20-29, so 21 actually refers to the second slot on the 3rd tray. -

The Spy AT will probably be added, or something to that effect. Also, from rumors (unconfirmed) that I've heard they've been working on this expansion since probably 2006 or 2007.
If anyone has the date of that survey they sent out, that would probably shed some light on when they started working on it.
