My friends and I were on a low level mish, that ended up with a foe behind a wall in one of the arachnos bases. I've seen them stick up in the rafters before, so I sent in a /petition while we searched. Fortunately, shortly after finding the escapee, a GM came on and popped him out for us. Probably less than 10 min from when we started out search, and the GM came on and solved our problem.
Kinda funny actually, I sent a the /petition in immediately, as soon as one of my friends found the guy, he said "send a /petition," to which I responded, "Talking to the GM now."
[/ QUOTE ] In this case, there are still a few holes in some of the arachnos map sets. You can actually travel freely from the inside to outside if you know where they are. Often times, patrols or ambushes will wander out the hole and can be hard to find.. especially if they fall down to the "bottom" of the mission.
It's still not intended, but it's not exactly the same problem. -
No Matres, Patrons are NOT available at all through Ouro. (I checked myself the other day for a related thread in Player Questions)

<QR>
21 would be in the THIRD tray (not second):
First tray is 0-9
2nd is 10-19
3rd is 20-29 -

So far only Luna let me know which Patron she wanted to go with, which is Ghost Widow, so we will definitely be running that arc.
[/ QUOTE ] I don't think I've done anything on Longbow yet. I'll run whichever arc we need. -
Right click on any chat tab and select "move to bottom" to split the window again.
And/or do a /wdwload to reload your previously saved preferences. -

i went thru took all the big outer turrents down to almost nothing then went and killed all the machine guns which ate up all 10 of my inspirations then killed all the outer turrents went inside and it said i must completely destroy them. which i did then all the machine guns had respawned with no insps i was just s o l so the info i got really had some holes in it somewhere sry guys didnt work!
[/ QUOTE ] or you just did it wrong.
Yes, take them all down to just a hair of health remaining. You can take your chances defeating them all and hope you don't run out of time with a respawn, but if you defeat ONE of them, then wait for it to respawn, and THEN finish them all off at once.. there is no reason why it can't be done on any type of character. -

WASD, like everyone else, is my movement stuff, however I actually use the strafe buttons. Most people seem to bind over those, and it drives me nuts. How can you live without strafing?!
[/ QUOTE ]I re-bound A and D to strafing. I use the mouse to turn the camera/character, so I don't need turning bound. Q and E get rebound for useful things, depending on the character.
[/ QUOTE ] THIS..
I do the same with strafing and using the mouse.
E is Follow, and Q is target next foe. Tab is target nearest foe.
It's just easier for me. -

Oh, I did not realize this. Thank you.
Why do Performance Shifters not go for higher prices on the market then? Last I checked a Chance for +End was going for 5000 or less. You would think it would cost more if it was so effective.
[/ QUOTE ] They used to cost a lot more than they do now. Not sure why the price crashed.
[/ QUOTE ]
You can only take stamina once?
[/ QUOTE ] Well, twice.. if you include the dual build.. haha -

I logged into test server several times today, and I'm actually on it now too.
[/ QUOTE ] Just following up.. it's still working flawlessly for me.
I don't use anything different from the standard test shortcut. I'm not sure what would cause all the problems you guys are having. -
I did see a few reports of it after i13 was released as well. I'm not sure what we decided the problem was. I'm fairly certain a "/reloadgfx" fixed it in most cases... but I could be remembering wrong.

US accounts will not work at all on the UK client.
Since neither account works, I'm guessing you accidentally downloaded the wrong one.
Make sure the US client is the one you installed. -
<QR> My Tank has almost no attacks that that level, and I rely on my veteran powers to take out the turrets. The above method has always worked wonders for me as well.

Here is the next reminder to make sure your Test Clients are all set up ahead of time.
This is happening later TODAY (Thursday June 4th at 10pm Eastern). Hope to see everybody there!
PS - Barracuda is located slightly SE from where Arbiter Apolis is.. (in Grandville's Main square) in front of LR's statue. -

I think it still has 19 play runs on Test actually.
[/ QUOTE ] The Live AE was copied to Test recently..
[/ QUOTE ]
Just to Training 2. Training 1 still has the old DB.
[/ QUOTE ]
Is that what happened? According to Avatea here , the MA arc database copy didn't happen at all.
[/ QUOTE ] My bad. I only briefly looked at it the other day after the update and was just going by what I saw in the Gmotd on test. -
They have been popping out of the wall (not just jumping out) for quite some time now. It's almost like the foes have their own version of /stuck that fixes them if they are behind a wall too long.
Moving out of line of sight for a short amount of time can also prompt them to be thrown back into play. It's not much of a problem anymore. -

The only workaround I've used.. is to put in something like this:

words here
--------------------------------------------------
A paragraph here

Another paragraph here
[/ QUOTE ]
About 50 dashes does the trick fairly well if the person viewing it is using the default info window size (or slightly larger).
The only problem is you run out of test room very quickly also. lol -

What is there to "take care of"? Aside from a little bit of comic relief, there is no negative impact to gaming. This has been around as long as I've been playing and I doubt it's going to get fixed.
[/ QUOTE ] This. It commonly occurs when you "1-shot" the foe before they are agroed.
It's no big deal to most people. -
the only other way is to run the arc with somebody ese who is running theirs.
-
I still click them too sometimes, I also used to have that issue. I'm not sure if it was my window scaling or whatever, but anyway, this is how I got around it..
Put Hasten (or another power you usually have on Auto) into the first slot, so you wont ever have to click there.
And/or a power you rarely use (Rest, Knife, Ouro Portal, etc) -
Also, while editing, it's possible for it to report an incorrect amount and show negative if you have done heavy buying and selling. Exiting the Editor and leaving the base will make it show correctly the next time you go back into it. I've run into that a few times in the past.

There was an update on Test on Tuesday, but nothing on Live this week.

Like Twilight indicated so much more clearly than I did, the update screen requires you to put in your CURRENT password, twice, for security. It can be very misleading.
[/ QUOTE ] It's not asking for a "current" password twice. I just tried a different password while changing the signature at the same time and it worked just fine.
It doesn't seem like any kind of security feature because you can put anything you want in there and it will just change it. The only stipulation is you HAVE TO put ANY password in, whether its the same or new. -
Other people have mentioned this same thing. I haven't really seen much official response to it though.
If you are lookign to see how much XP is left to lvl up, the only current workaround is to open your Powers window and click on Combat Attributes.
Under the Base category, you can right click on "Experience to Next Level" and Monitor it. That will place that value in a little display that you can keep somewhere so you'll always know how close you really are.
You can also monitor Debt, Inf, or any other stat you want. Unfortunately, I don't think Patrol XP was added to that list yet. Sorry. -
I just tried a little test in Grandville.
I can only come up with it being random.
I tried several different types of Tarantulas, all of them with the same mixed results.
I tried getting them down to low health and killing them with DoT while they are running away.
I tried killing them with a Sniper while they are running away.
I tried killing them with both low and high damage while they are still engaged in battle.
I tried all of the above while the target had a mob within melee range, and solo.
I tried all of the above while I was within melee range, and while at range.
i tried foes my level, and I tried foes much lower than mine.
Nothing seemed to make any difference. Sometimes they exploded. Sometimes they didn't.
