The sound drivers shouldn't cause it, but there is no harm in updating. The new drivers can easily be found at realtek.com

[/ QUOTE ] Well.. I use dead Custom Critters from the AE located behind the shop. Unfortunately the Devs didn't make it a point to stock the shop, so I have to get my supplies elsewhere! All the Devs left me is a small can of "US Army Rations" on the counter, and the cupboard is completely empty! lol

On a side note, I wouldn't be surprised if they raised the maximum number of characters per server to 48 (or more) to account for the new expansion coming our way. That would add 132 more characters to make the total 528 (or more).

NVidia 177.79 has been infamous for issues similar to yours. Usually it's much worse, but a simple driver update should fix it right up easy.

Update to 185.85, NOT the new 186 driver, because those are apparently having similar/worse issues also. lol

[/ QUOTE ] But yet it's the quickest way to do exactly what you want, because the bind does not exist. So it's either take the extra half-second to right-click, or bind "clearchat" to a key and clear everything.

Alternately, you could use one of the "1 2 3 4" tabs and create a whole new window to put your desired channel in it so it wont flood your other regular chats.

Depending what you are doing with the information, you can resize it to something smaller and put it anywhere you want.

You can then use a "windowtoggle chat1" bind to open it quickly on command when you need it.. and close it when you are sick of looking at it. lol

Then you might not even need to /clearchat anyway.

I did some checking/testing for you..

You can't get the arc until lvl 40, but since it is not a TF, you can invite lower lvls to the team. It's restricted to lvl 35+ only because of the lvl restricted zone the missions are in... but the person hosting the mission (or wanting to follow along) must indeed be 40+.

To make it faster, just "/bind KEY chatload" then when you rightclick a tab, press D (to delete it), then "KEY" to instantly put it back.

Delete the tab, then do /chatload to put it back (empty). lol

What your suggesting might be allowed in the context of those rules, but I'm sure its frowned upon as evident by updates and limits imposed to curtail exploitative farming, which in the end, ruins legitimate play for everyone else who is more than just a casual player.

Those "people" who end up ruining a good thing for everyone else are people like you who take advantage of it and then try to defend your actions by twisting the whole thing around.

It's global to the account, but also isolated to each computer you use. The info you see is contained in a playernotes.txt file in the \City of Heroes\your_account\ directory. If you don't have that file on a different computer, or the contents of the file are different, you'll see different results.

You can use /player_note to create or re-open info on a player.
