    Those are separate events in addition to our standing Monday and Wednesday night appointments... which each get a separate thread of their own every week.

    Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to discourage you from forming your own group. Our 10pm ET timeslot was picked after careful consideration of the availability of interested parties, and it isn't likely to change. If something earlier in the day is more convenient for you, I'm sure you can find people to join you. We aren't the only ones out there.

    Many members of the "Freedom Horde" are also on earlier as well, and are always looking for extra things to do. On my day off.. I certainly am. lol

Good thing I'm quick on the Greens/Purps and recovered before I could be hit again. Otherwise, I would have gotten the "I phail" award for sure. lol

    For the record, as briefly mentioned above..
    After my case of heart-failure, it did simultaneously happen to several others as well.. and I noticed their skill at quickly hitting the Insps. That, combined with the quick healing we had going on.. made this a great success!

    I am on Freedom. It's my Primary server (I only have ONE character elsewhere that I use one weekend each month for a static team).

    I love the place. I love the people.

    I don't farm. Never have. Probably never will.

    I run TFs or other events almost every night, and am not phased by any "noob AE farm bile".

    I don't care what other people do. It doesn't affect me, or my own game. I can agree the chat spam for the teams can be annoying.. but all you have to do is /ignore the people spamming it and/or go to a different zone if it bothers you.

    I form all my teams from global channels anyway. Broadcast, FTL.

    There are not as many Villain SFs available, so we don't really do them in order, but we've pretty much gone through them a few times in the same amount of time it took us to finish the Hero set. lol

    You already know that Luna posts the Monday night (10:00p ET) Hero runs.
    MrEMan posts the Wednesday night (10:30p ET) Villain runs. Keep an eye out for them.

  8. If it can't be opened, it doesn't necessarily have an interface at all, so it doesn't really exist... yet.
  9. <QR> Since the cache'd text isn't actually placed in the text field, you wouldn't have been able to log in. If you attempted to re-type it again, it will show up in the password field again the way you all describe, being doubled, and then it will tell you it was incorrect password again.

    The way this bug is currently working, I don't see any way for it to place your password into the chat, because you would first have to type the password correctly into the password field (which wouldn't be cache'd at that point).

    And even if you did mistakenly type the password by accident... people don't have any way to know what your username is... so there is NO risk at all... and if there is any chance you think somebody does know your username too, then you can easily change your password at any time before naybody gets a chance to do anything.

    (the leader only has 56 mail messages or so, but hope springs eternal).

    Why do I feel this way? Simple. The devs *need* to solve the spam issue, but unless something
    breaks, that "wheel" won't squeak enough to warrant attention...

    I, for one, can ignore the red EMAIL indicator... In the meantime, send me all the spam
    you want... I won't care ... or even notice...

    [/ QUOTE ] I already tried seeing if there was a cap at how many e-mails you can hold. Another thread recommended letting it just fill up so you never get any more. (Not that it would make the red letters go away or make the situation any different).. but i decided to satisfy my curiosity about the cap anyway.

    I created a simple bind that sent multiple E-mail to one of my other characters (The spammers probably use a something similar).
    I stopped at about 12k emails. If there is a cap, it's nothing you'd ever see even through constant excessive spamming, probably wont crash any servers.. and not worth trying to get on purpose either. lol

    That shouldn't ever happen unless he's talking to the wrong detective. There are two detectives in each zone (in PI it's Selnum and McLord) and you're only able to talk to one of them. The other will give the brush-off by referring you to one of your other contacts.

    [/ QUOTE ] This. I've never seen the Detective blow you off unless you had not completed enough Radios in the zone yet, or unless you are talking to the wrong one.

    Doing the required number of Radio missions should still result in a bank mission and an offer to gain another contact.

    To the OP: If you happen to already have her as a contact, but she wont talk to you.. you either already already have 3 active missions, or have too many old story arcs still pending completion. You'll need to clean them up and try again.

    [/ QUOTE ]Castle still hasn't gotten it to light 100%. At best, we've gotten to about 90% (Not including misses, because I believe that it is possible to whiff the target. I need to watch my pet hit rolls next time I get out my Nin/TA MM to see if it is.

    Joe Glow is just a bit above you without build up and he has Doctored Wounds in along with a couple of others. Saving up to get what I need to make it better.

    Doctored Wounds is actually a very nice set...for heals that require recharge...I use it on my tanks & brute (Hoarfrost, Dull Pain, etc) and on my Emp (Regeneration Aura).

    Nurse Smurfette (Emp/Rad):

    Healing Aura is slotted with 4 Numina (enough to get the set bonus for 6% healing).
    Heal/End, End/Rech, Heal/Rech, Heal, then 2 more standard healing IOs.. giving it a total 107% healing enhancement.
    Heal Other is slotted the same way at 107% and an additional 6% healing bonus.
    Heals... FTW!

    I skipped out on Numina's Global +Regen/+Recovery to keep the healing numbers high (with the extra Heal IOs), and keep it cheap.
    I get some extra regen and recovery below anyway...
    (not to mention, the RA buffs make them not even needed most of the time)

    Her Rad attacks are slotted with Touch of Lady Grey (Defense Debuff Set).
    Not only does it make for great debuffs on the enemy, but it's bonuses include:
    15% hp increase
    2.5% recovery
    8% regeneration
    2% damage increase (not a great selling point, but included to be complete)
    11% accuracy
    (I have 4 powers with this set, so stack those 4 times.)
    Debuffs and bonuses... FTW!

    Acrobatics has triple KB IOs, for an overkill 12.5 KB protection.
    She does not fall down... FTW!

    The Recovery and Regeneration Auras both have 3 Recharge IOs, and then 3 of their respective IO (EndMod and Healing).
    Adrenalin Boost, Power Build Up, Aim, Conserve Power, Resurrect, CM and Hasten are also slotted for Recharge.
    Her Sniper power is slotted with Sting of the Manticore (which includes another 7.5% recharge bonus).
    Healing and debuffing faster... FTW!

    Obviously it could still use a lot tweaking, but it was relatively cheap (at the time) and works out great! MoSTF was a cake walk.. lol

    YMMV.

    Edit:Just talked to Flu in-game and it seems he already used some improved tactics on some of his other characters, but haven't implemented them on Flu yet. I was trying to provide him with a cheap setup that still works great, but I think he's even ready for the next level.. providing he has the money to do so. lol

    The bottom/lower window can have tabs FYI.

    [/ QUOTE ] Of course. If there is no tab at all, the lower window wouldn't exist.. and there wouldn't be any chat in it anyway. lol

    And the Caption and NPC chat can be added to ANY tab, ANYwhere. They don't have to be in the lower section, or any other specific place to be able to see it during a cutscene.. as long as it's somewhere. If you want to be able to read over the chat again after the cutscene, simply open the tab that contains that text.

    If this is the same problem I had, the fix is pretty simple. Reset keybinds to default using the Options window button (I think it's either at the top or at the bottom of the Keybinds tab).

    Then bindload your custom binds.

    Sometimes the game gets confused. :x

    [/ QUOTE ] and after you do this.. immediately log out (to desktop). Wait a couple minutes and log back in again. It seems that sometimes the binds load into the client's memory for that session and never even actually make it to the server. That should force the information to save to your character file correctly on the server and not reload to an old format the next time you log in.

    [/ QUOTE ] The only problem I'm having with that is... That Trial can literally take less than 10 minutes. Even if the team doesn't stealth through, or has some other strange problems... it's timed at a maximum of 90 minutes. I would have paired it with something else.. but there isn't really any other quick TFs to pair it with in that lvl range.

    I suppose we'll have to do a non-sanctioned ITF, LGTF or STF to fill in the time.

    No, I don't plan on being around for this. I've got family coming in the next morning, so I have to make sure I get some sleep for some last minute cleaning and preparations in the morning. I still plan on trying my best to be around Thursday night for the MoLRSF though.

    [/ QUOTE ] ROFL. Indeed, "crazy-kitty mode" is dependent on the team being able to fend for themselves a little bit. She is not just a meat-shield, but an agro-magnet. A secondary brute and/or a few scrappers go a long way to making the ITF faster, especially with a kin on hand. Like I said above, her playstyle differs on other TFs, but it's her signature behavior for ITF. When it's requested of her, she is also very capable of "behaving" on an ITF. lol
