    Now.. I don't know if me being a male in real-life, but playing a female toon is creepy. I'm pretty sure that's widely accepted and common by now...
    ...I don't know if me playing a Villain that looks like a Hero fits into some "dangerous" fetish some people might have. With Going Rogue coming Soon™, it'll be more common than it already is...

    ...but I find that guy pretty darn creepy anyway. lol

    Freedom definitely has it's moments too. haha

    The Server status page isn't telling you that the Servers are up "NOW", it's telling you they were up at some point last month.. as if that is some kind of useful information to somebody. lol

    Sadly no, CoX UI is a lot better then what AION currently has right now. Granted AION is still in beta and who knows what it may look like during the next beta event. Even worse you can't flip your mouse, its opposite CoXs setup and can't be changed.

    [/ QUOTE ] Pets are expendable, and since MM's have a support secondary, they are usually in charge of keeping their own pets safe in their own way. In most cases, their summon is recharged by the time a few start dying off anyway.

    Personally, I would hate an addition like that because it could fill the whole screen at times. Sure, they could add a toggle to enable/disable the extended pet window i guess.

    Even after playing several different support toons and wanting to be able to see their health at times as well, I've found it better to just focus on the team members and the enemy and forget the pets are even there.

    Here's a for-giggles suggestion, take it or leave it up to you...

    Log into the game(s) and set all your graphic settings to minimum. Exit & Close the game.

    Then grab the absolute oldest non-beta driver you can find for that card number for your OS. Yeah I'm serious.

    Then do a full clean uninstall of the current driver. Some say using Add-Remove Programs stuff is enough, however most of us prefer to use driver sweeper pro from safemode to fully remove a driver.

    Then install the new-to-you old driver.

    Log into the game and play a while. (Yeah I know minimum isn't pretty, do some WW/BM work or something if you think its too ugly.)

    Post your results. Odds are no-change, minor chance of a variant. I suggest this because I've seen something vaguely similar before from a driver even though it shouldn't happen.

    Take with 2 grains of salt and call me in the morning :P

    [/ QUOTE ] To anybody who might try to do this.. Make sure you do a /wdwsave or /wdwsavefile for the character you are going to test it on. Otherwise, you may spend some unnecessary time fixing everything once you go back to your usual resolution. It can be easily fixed with a /wdwload as long as you saved it first. lol

    Catastrophic faults will always happen and we accept that completely. However, if as a consequense of that fault further downtime is required, then that by definition will be pre-planned, albeit with differing implimention time scales.
    They, the Dev's/techs et cetera knew they were taking the system down and so could and should always tell us, even if just by way of an ingame countdown and better still backed up by a notification on these forums. Must be all of two mins work and worth every second in customer relations!

    Even the in-game messages (countdown timer and login error) both say to check the website and forum for details, but there is never any detail until the maintenance is over, and even that's not always the case. lol

    Again, time zone isn't as important as how it relates to your own schedule.

    Referencing what I highlighted in Red, I agree with the OP... them announcing what downtime is for is hardly "typical". We aren't asking for specific information regarding what bug they are fixing or anything, but even a little message saying "Please wait while we fix a bug/exploit" would go a long way.

    I have no problem with the servers going down for regularly scheduled backups as I understand this is a necessary evil with interenet, but today it was at 7:00 AM central.
    If you are going to post a general message on the boards and make it a sweeping gesture, at least make it broad enough that ALL of your general maintenance times fit within your time constraints.

    We've even had downtime in the middle of the afternoon, and in the evening a couple of times. It sucks not being able to play when we think we will be able to, but that doesn't bother me as much as not knowing WHY. lol

    For some reason, the Server Status page keeps refreshing back to yesterday afternoon (Check the date and timestamp in the bottom-right corner of the page). The servers are not actually up yet.

    Just bought it on one of my toons yesterday and only because there were no other thematically suitable powers available to choose.     Absolutely possible. I only state my own experience, I don't mind running out of End when it happens, it's another thing to juggle, another challenge to keep on top of. Generally I find that 1 End Reduction slotted in each power is enough to keep my Endurance bottoming out at an annoying rate.

    There isn't a single power in this game that is 'essential' so using that argument kinda fails. I believe people recommend Stamina to everyone because it is one of the few powers that has universal benefit and provides one of the three things you can never have too much of (Damage, Health, Endurance). For a character being built to solo AVs, Stamina is extremely useful since it helps to eliminate having to watch one bar (so you only have to watch the target's health and yours). I think suggesting someone drop a power they're clearly asking for advice in slotting, is akin to telling someone to sell their car when they ask for tips on customizing it ("Hey guys, what do you suggest I do to trick out my ride?" "har har, you should sell it because nobody really needs a car").

    Maybe it's just me though.

    While his original post may not be specifically useful to the OP's request, he did follow it up with more specific information about why he feels that way, and a "YMMV" to show that there are other alternatives out there that might not be for everybody.

    And by the way.. if you run the entire tutorial without using Brawl once, I applaud you. That's essential enough for me. lol j.k

    Everybody has different schedules. I'm on the East Coast, and happen to work from noon to 9pm Eastern time. Playing in the morning before work is perfect.. except on maintenance days. lol
    The downtime can affect anybody, based on their own work schedules.. not their timezone.

    I guess for me it doesn't matter as much because I seem to spend more of my time in these forums anyway. The only problem is when I have to log in to get accurate data for a post, and I have to wait for the server to come back up. haha

    IIRC, there was a thread like this last month, and it got Dev response saying they would look into being a little more informative in this regard. The next downtime was then revealed on the main site, but that was the only time. lol

    If you run up to Rom's platform immediately after the cutscene, it is possible to pull Rom away from his Nictus. Then you wont have to be a man down just to keep them separated.

    You can kinda make a bind to target them though if it helps at all:

    It's not perfect, but it might help a little. lol

    The "Real Numbers" seems to be using the actual Base value to show the effect of the bonuses.

    BUT the total recovery is using the standard base of 1.67 to calculate the rate:

    Stamina's value of 0.86 divided by the base of 1.84 gives you an estimated 46% enhancement.
    If you use 46% enhancement on the standard base of 1.67, you get a bonus of 0.77 instead.

    Now, let's recalculate Recovery using the alternate Stamina value:
    Base: 1.84
    Stamina: 0.77
    Rate: 2.61
    Expected: 2.61

    My numbers are probably off, or I'm looking at it from the wrong perspective (I only came up with this quickly), but I'm pretty sure that's what's happening... or something similar. That's all rounded of course, but it makes the point.

    Now, the only question is.. Where is the bug? Is the recovery really broken.. or is the number just displaying incorrectly?

    Is the standard rate of 1.67 the only part that can be enhanced because the rest actually comes from [Conditioning]?.. and if so.. Why isn't that value shown separately in the Combat Attributes?

    You can't export the full list though.
    As an alternative, many people use HeroStats to update badge tracking sites like Badge-hunter to keep track of what they collected, and what they still need. It can be annoying to set up for the first time though, because in order for the program to detect the badges you already have.. you have to set each one as your badge title. There are bind files people have made to make this process faster/easier.. but I find it unreliable at times, and find it easier to just click each one down the list instead. Otherwise, the binds seem to skip some badges, and it can be a pain to look through to find the ones that are missing anyway.

    But once you're done setting it up, it can be a really useful tool. I keep it running at all times and let it track all my characters.

  21. IIRC, you still get the badge after you zone, even if you failed the mission. This is only for the mission-holder, not for any teammates, and not while running it through Ouro.

    Yeah I can try to get you all on the same team when possible. The only problem might be where I rely on Joe as a third team leader. So I can either switch you all to Joe's Team when he runs one, or you all can stay on MB's, and Joe will just be lonely
