    I always do, and I know several other people that do as well. And even for people who use the even larger 1920×1200, roughly 1600 might be normal viewing with a messenger service to the side. (Just trying to rationalize it.)

    Indeed, the image is 1640x1050.
    My monitor's native resolution is 1680x1050.
  3. That depends how wide your browser window is. The background image doesn't move, but the central Twitter area will shuffle around based on the size of your screen.

    For me, I can see Statesman and Sister Psyche on the left side.. and LR and GW on the right side, which is it's intended view. I say it's the intended view because the size of the background image is roughly the same as my resolution.

    On your screen, you might not have even seen her behind the Twitter page, and now that you know she is there, it might look to you as if she is doing something dirty now. haha
  4. The same numbers might not point to the same badges after new ones are released.
    New badges squeezed into the middle of the list changes the value of the rest of them.
    You'd have to get an updated list every time there are new badges.

    On a side note, you can always click on the badge you want to set as your badge title, but for Gladiator badges.. you can find the current list of the Gladiator settitle values on badge-hunter.com - Gladiator Badges and I believe City Info Tracker Badge List shows the settitle for every badge as well. I'm assuming the numbers are current, but keep in mind they could change Soon™ with i16 around the corner.

    Indeed. The point is.. the zone isn't always the only requirement, like the person I quoted implied... In fact, having spent so much time in those zones with several Alts.. it feels like the specific area is a requirement more often than not (I don't do many hunts outside of regular story arcs), but of course YMMV.

    Just to be complete and accurate, this is usually not true in hazard zones like Striga and Croatoa. If it says to defeat the foe in a certain area of the zone, you MUST be in that specific area for the kill to count.

    I forgot to change my difficulty beforehand, so we ran it on Heroic. I would have upped it for the 2nd TF, but I didn't notice until after that our lvls were screwed up and we were short mentors, so a couple people didn't even get XP most of the time.. so it was a good thing we were on Heroic so we could roast the EBs. We still had many deaths though. lol

    I had a long weekend at work and I was kinda tired when we started this, so I'm headed to bed now. See you for all the next run! lol

    I had some issues last night when I was on around 8pm-11pm Eastern... but then my internet went down soon after that, so I just assumed it was on my end. It was fine this morning and right now.

  16. I thought I read that they were going to have sign-ups to have codes e-mailed after the event this time? I guess they changed their mind... or I'm just going crazy.

    Anyway, all I can say is make sure you log into your NCsoft account, add the code, apply it to your game account, and the costume power will be listed in your "Inherent" list on all your characters.

    Other than that.. At what point does the code fail? Is it letting you add it at PlayNC, but not to apply it to your game account? Are the powers just not showing up on your characters? Maybe the codes aren't active yet for some reason?

    I guess you'll have to contact support and take it up with them.

    We ran this on Challenge Level 5, but it still wasn't even a challenge at all. With the Soldier's buffs, and double dark debuffs.. it was a cakewalk. I'm not really keen on speeding through things anymore, but I was told it was a long annoying mission, so Paragon did ghost the last mission for us. As it turns out, we should have just played through, cause we waited in Ouroboros the whole time while E's team was doing the mission. We probably could have just started Lazarus, but I wanted to make sure people weren't dropping from either team first, so we hung out and chatted about nonsense as usual. lol

    We stayed on Challenge Level 5, and Nosferatu definitely proved a challenge with all his healing, but we finally took him down. Col. Burkholder seemed easy, but his ambushes took us out when he had a sliver of health left. The strange thing about it is we never freed Nosferatu first, and we never actually killed Col. Burkholder, but our mission was already complete!? It seems we got the kill xp when he gave us his "75% message"?


    As you can see, it said we defeated him (as a Rewards message, but not in System), yet we were still fighting him and he had more "taunts" after that:

    And that doesn't even include what he might say after he actually dies. Because we wiped, we simply went to Hospital, and went on to the next mission without actually defeating him. lol

    So we continued on to the last mission and we had a great method for the 3 final AVs. We pulled one at a time to the top of the stairs and used our double tarpatches on the ground. The ambushes never even bothered us until the AV was down and tar patch dropped. We cleared the ambushes and repeated for the other 2 AVs.

    Nice job everybody! It was fun running these on Challenge Level 5. I think I'm going to keep it going for the Hero Ouro on Monday as well. It should be some crazy times. haha

    Right, you cannot open it at all unless you enable the option to "Show Pet Window Option". Then you can use the "Pets" button on the top of the Team window to open the Pet window.

    Some people might tell you that you can use "/show pets" to view it, but that would be wrong for 2 reasons:
    1.) The name of the window is "pet", not "pets"
    2.) You still have to have the option enabled for the command "/show pet" to do anything. The "Show Pet Window Option" option actually disables the window itself, not just the button to open it.

    On a side note, if you don't feel like opening your options, you can enable it with this code:
    /optionset ShowPets 1
    Then you can open it with "/show pets" or by pressing the "Pets" button as described above.

    Or to simplify even further, you can do both with just one line of code:
    /optionset ShowPets 1 $$ show pet

    This is how I counted my badge progress before we had the popup messages:


    Yep.. good times. It still didn't help with gladiators of course, but I just farmed the first mission of the STF for the Toxics and Guardians until I got it. It went by fairly quickly.
  20. The map is uncovered when you or a teammate actually travels to the specifc spot on the map.

    The mobs are spawned when you come within a particular distance from their spawnpoint, which includes areas you have not "painted" yet. "Painting the map" only gave people a reference of what areas they still needed to spawn, but one has nothing to do with the other.

    Using the power does not pre-spawn the map. You'd still have to travel to the back end if you want to spawn the foes there.

    lol yeah, we took careful to the extreme. We could have even run that on Invincible and not had a problem. I think that should be one of the Mo requirements... along with a time limit and no inspirations (not that we needed them anyway. ROFL!)

    We had a great team and it was a pleasure to cream the heck out of that challenge with everybody. A couple people almost had heart failure when the timer challenge failed. haha We could make an hour easily I'm sure... maybe next time! See you then

    I expected this to be very easy, but I took it extra slow and careful anyway. I even commented on how weird it felt to go that slow. We cleared as we went, I tried not to over-agro too far past my cap (like I normally would, haha), and we killed each ambush as it came along. I think what took our team a little longer is our EBs ended up way up the hill and I ended up pulling everything down and we waited for every ambush inbetween and killed everything in the area before continuing on. We probably didn't need to, but I didn't want our first attempt to fail from something stupid. haha.

    I'm sure with our team setup, we could have easily done an excellent speed run without much issue if we had wanted to. We also killed some robots inbetween waves, and I broke Rom at the end as well. I also went the extra "mile" and pulled Rom to the top of the hill and we killed him there, just for fun. We never even went down and cleared the Cimerorans on the platform. It was an easy success, and now we have the story to tell. haha

    Anyway, it looks like we balanced each team pretty well. Each team had what we needed and both teams were successful! Thank you everybody for coming out and having fun with this event! See you when it goes live!
