You probably can't post the HiJack This because your post is already too long with the large Dxdiag, which is what CoH_Helper also helps prevent... so... here is your link: CoH_Helper
BTW, your current sound driver seems to be from 2007, not the one you think you have from 2008...
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio Pack 1.04.0079
( Make sure you are downloading the correct version. The first one listed is for Vista! ) -
Quote:That's what I see also. Like Zombie said.. it just doesn't seem to display on some broswers.I am not sure what font this is selecting, but it's not the next in line cos the next in line is another 'ding' type of font.

Oh well.. one more reason to love FF. We can read what you're saying. haha

Yeah, somebody got me killed before I could TP anybody to the boss room. I was about to tp him safely to the back to help take out the 3 foes guarding the Hostage to end the mission, but he came barreling through the Monster's mob. *cough*Alt*cough* haha

Try making sure you are running the game at the same resolution as your Windows Desktop, or use Windowed mode instead.

Quote:Don't put a space after the name of the emote.I tried all three of those plus I checked out the link (thanks btw). Here's what happens: He thinks Knuckles (or Knuckle or Crack) then says blah, blah, blah in local. I'm not getting the desired emote but he is saying what I want him to and in the proper channel. Is there a toggle in options that I need to turn on? Because I'm having trouble with other emotes as well.
P.S. I see why you said "Don't click this link" wtf rofl?!?!?! -
Quote:I think you just said the same thing. They're professionals who do this for a living in many different games. They don't need ideas from us. They've likely been thinking about alternate methods for months or years now. I'm betting there is nothing any one of us could come up with that they haven't thought of already. It's their livelihood; they have to. They are always three steps ahead.

I ran an AR/Dev to 50 mostly solo... but I didn't have to keep it on Heroic.
As for satisfactory leveling speed.. it's always going to take longer solo than it would with teams... and even moreso on a toon that you have to spend time setting up traps and such for each mob. -

I don't see why you are pushing this still. The upcoming feature fixes the majority of the problem.. at least see how that works first.. unless you have some friends that are spammers. rofl

Much of the spam you receive is from paid accounts also.
Example:
Somebody pays for power-leveling and gives their username and password to the company providing the service.
The company takes that opportunity to spam from that account while the service is being performed.
It happens all the time. -
Quote:They already don't get nearly the number of privileges that we do. With the new feature coming, you'll still be able to add friends on Trials to your list so you can still get their emails. I don't agree that it should be taken away from them completely. It can be quite useful to help new people get started. They aren't paying for the game and I am. So why should they have all of the privileges that I do? If they are legitimate trial accounts hopefully they will see how cool this game is and buy it.
At this point, your suggestion belongs in the suggestion forum anyway. Oh wait.. it's already been posted there several times. -

Quote:If you have more than 10 valuable IOs that you are not going to use and would like to sell on the market. You'd have to save 10 of them and slot the rest somewhere. Then sell the 10 in your tray (or save them in your base) and Re-respec to pull out 10 more.. etcThanks to both of you for your tips and the traps to watch out for. I have already worked out the respec on Mids so I know what the final desired build is and the sequence of powers to choose in reaching it (something I know is important in case you do flashback missions back to a lower level). For this first respec, it will be a minor one, tweaking a build I'm already fairly satisfied with but want to switch one power and arrange the slots slightly differently.
Another thing I'm not totally clear on. I have a large number of IO sets I will be keeping as they exist in the final build, but there will be one set that I will let go of in favor of trading to another power with a different set which I've planned for and will slot later (with the planned IO's being in base inventory). I understand that you can slot the existing IO's back into the sets, but you can also put leftover IO's (from any powers you've dropped) into your enhancement tray. This would mean a maximum of 10 IO's that you can move out of the existing build and not include in the final build, correct? And If you exceed 10, you'll have to delete the excess, correct? I'll want to sell these IO's because they're worth a fair amount.
Meanwhile, I'll see if I can't find a good guide for this process which will help. Thanks, again.
Keep in mind that unused enhancements are not really just deleted, but "sold". You'd still get a little bit of money and it tells you the value before you let the game take them. Make your best judgement. -

Quote:The point is that sometimes the email is the only method of communication that you have for friends on temp accounts, so they can't take it away.. and probably wont, and it's not only temp account that send out spam... so blocking them wouldn't stop anything. You need to re-read my original post. I wasn't unjustified nor did I say "that nothing was being done." I merely offered my opinion of a possible solution. If you don't agree that email should be taken away from trial accounts go ahead and say so, but don't put words into my mouth.
Also, with the new ability to block email from people you don't know.. you avoid the whole problem, and the information about this new feature could have been found very easily by doing a simple forum search first. -
And what MissInformed means by that is that Primary and Secondary powers only need to be clicked on once and then you press next to move on... but when you pick a power from a power pool, selecting it only adds it to your main list of powers and then you still have to hit next AGAIN to actually accept it. It's a common mistake for people to see it on their list and then select another power or pick another power pool and not realize that the previous choice was replaced by the new one because you didn't accept it first.

Quote:Sure, you have a right to ASK that something be done, but that's not what you did.You want drama? I am fed up with people abusing what is supposed to be a fun feature in a game that I've been paying for 5 years now. I want my in-game email to be free of these harassing emails and I want to be able to use it again as it was intended. You are right that I want people to join in "my crusade" because it's the right thing to do. I know that the devs never intended it to become what it has and I have a right to ask that something be done about it.
You unjustifiably COMPLAINED that nothing was being done.
And as we mentioned several times. Things HAVE been done about it.. and more changes are in the works... so hold onto your shorts. lol
