  2. I've seen that issue come and go. Seems to be random for me. Even with the same version it will display some times, but be blank other times. Then highlighting something makes it reappear. Like Father Xmas, I have the actual page bookmarked as well and reference it as needed. Most times I just skip past the updater anyway.

    None of my optical drives spin up while accessing the page though. Is that repeatable for you, Father Xmas?

    Darn.. I was going to post a screenshot of my toon standing next to the one in front of the statue, but I was in the middle of a flashback arc and can't "travel" right now..

    Actually.. I just went by there after I was done with my arc, and both of them are gone!
    The wiki lists the statue one as being in front of the pole, similar to how the Jetpack Quartermaster is standing..
    The one by the Ferry is supposed to be standing similar to the Information Officer on the opposite side as well..
    but NOTHING!

    Weird! I wonder how long they have been gone.. and why.

    I just checked Test Server, and they are removed from there also.

    Reason being.. Only Heroes can do the Hero arcs, and only Villains can do the Villain arcs. They aren't Co-op.

    I've had that happen before too.. on a weaker team that took a realllly long time to defeat him. If I had to guess, I'd say that he phased about 1 hour into the fight, but using the Ray again fixed it immediately.

  10. I think it's a long-standing issue with some of them seemingly counting for the wrong badge, but both badges certainly still work. I was able to get them just fine in St. Martial at the beginning of the Halloween event.

    I don't think he's talking about Walk disabling the buffs, nor is he really talking about the fact that the buffs don't apply while he is using Walk..

    The bug here is that once you turn walk OFF, all the buffs were applied at once, and stacked, even though that power does not normally stack on top of itself.

    What I'd guess is happening is that the Mystic Fortune is actually playing, but is supressed by Walk, and then the second Mystic Fortune stacks on top of it because the first one isn't actually active. Then once Walk is turned off, both instances of the power are unsupressed together.

    I just tested it and repeated it several times. I currently have 4 separate Fortune buffs applied to this character.

    Along those same lines, I have a "Longbow" character as well.

    She is a Widow named "Longbow Spy-duh", which makes the name even look like a regular longbow as well.

    Is there a resemblance? lol

    Mine has been red-only since it was bugged before. I never really saw a reason to allow permissions on it yet, seeing how I never move my toons around other than the one time. lol

    It's just a preventative measure so I know it wont ever get screwed up by another bug of this type.

  16. If that is true, then you can simply set your main server back to how you want it and then make your playerslot.txt file READ ONLY, so the game can't change it. (This doesn't mean the order wont move around within the game's memory while you are moving back and forth between servers, but you definitely wont lose your original order each time the list is loaded fresh when you log in.)

    playerslot.txt is located here: ..\City of Heroes\your_account_name\playerslot.txt
    Open the properties of the file (right-click > Properties, or highlight it > File > Properties)
    Check the box for "Read-only" and click apply.

    huh? All of them?

    Well I know for a fact that the Costume badges certainly have a progress bar.. and so do the defeat badges for ToT'ing...
    lol.

    To take out the Zombie progress purposefully seems a bit silly, seeing how that's partially available all year, whereas the ones I listed above are not available at all, but still show progress.

    Edit:
    Oh yeah.. and btw.. they were all working just fine for me as well. As others mentioned, you probably didn't defeat enough of them on your own to get credit for the badges.

    Ninja Run + Swift + Sprint is putting me close to 53 mph. Capped Fly is like 58 or something, so that makes it fast enough to be worth skipping other things... for sure.

    I do wish we could use those animations on SJ though.

    You are right, you can disable the name above your head.. but like he said, it is only effective for your own screen. Other people can still see your name.

    That's because those thumbnails are actually 3d environments containing that character, which should always look the same as the full figure. Just like if you /info a PB or WS while they are in Dwarf or Nova form, their thumbnail image will be different also. (Try [Midnight Visage] or any of the Halloween Costumes and /infoself. lol)

    If it worked any other way, it would almost impossible to have images ready for any number of player costume possibilities as well.
