Quote:just got a phone call from a friend. stranded and needs a ride. sorry Luna. I am gonna go pick him up and drive him home. sorry horde.Quote:dam just got back. dam that was a hassle. turned into can u stop at wal-mart too
We had no Emp, no ranged damage.. and a couple people had no idea what they were doing most of the time... or at least distracted by something else. I was frustrated to say the least.. but we finally got our act together and got the job done.
Anyway.. I don't know when I'm going to be around this week or next, so I hope everybody has a Happy holiday! -
Thanks Luna!
Now I just have to go shovel my way out and head in to work for a few hours. haha
Quote:I live less than two hours from where you live, and got less than ten inches of what you got this. >_< I think Santa hates me.
You can come help me shovel if you want. haha -

Quote:But like I said in that post.. it doesn't explain the damage proc firing "randomly" after entering a mob. It would fire 2 seconds after a foe coming into range, or 8 seconds. There didn't seem to be an accurate pattern until I set a timer to beep every 10 seconds and started hanging out with some mobs, sitting afk a few minutes inbetween.. and it was always on time with the 10 second interval from when I first toggled the power on... It certainly doesn't wait 10 seconds after the foe comes into range because sometimes it would fire as soon as I jumped in if I timed it right.Actually, I think the only "the power just turned on" check is done when the power turns on. The "once every ten seconds" check seems to start counting (without trying to proc) when an enemy enters range, and only tries to proc 10 seconds later. If that were the case, jumping in and out of range, jousting, or quickly killing your enemies would reset the timer before it ever had the chance to proc. It would also explain threads like this one, if my theory is right.
I do agree with you that it doesn't seem to try to proc unless the enemy is in range (based on the other proc I have in that power), but based on my test.. the rotating timer is started when the power is turned on. -
Before: (12/20/2009 midnight)
After: (12/20/2009 10am)
And it's still lightly snowing. -
Update.. It starting snowing right around midnight, and because of the wind/drifts, it's hard to tell how many inches we actually have right now, but I'd guess around 4 inches so far. I'll update in the morning.
On a side note, it's funny to see a bunch of snow stuck to one side of my car, and almost nothing on the roof/hood. lol -
There are several "Sprint" powers, so you cannot slot a Universal Travel Set (Winter's Gift / Blessing of the Zephyr) into any of them or it would be stacked and abused... mainly stacking the [Blessing of the Zephyr: +4 Knockback Protection] in the default slots for all the versions you don't use would have been a major exploit.
Universal Travel ENH can't go into sprints? -
yeah, usually it is, but that just makes it even more fun. lol

last i knew, you are not supposed to share infamy with you pact anyway.. just the xp.. so if it's changing the about of inf he's getting, it's certainly a bug.
Also, as of recently, the Level Pact section of the Friends list doesn't seem to show the pact member's name anymore, but as long as that menu is still there, the pact is usually still intact. -
Quote:On the login screen, the mouseover says "Server down", which is different than saying "Full" if they had been full.I had not seen anything from a community rep or anyone saying the servers were down/crashed, so I assumed they were load locked, which of course, you know, looks identical at the login screen. So if they are down, I stand corrected.
Also, server status has shown their status as "Down/Unknown" for the last few hours. -
As far as I could tell, it sounded like it was going to be a separate server until it got closer to release anyway.

I've been playing it for weeks. Didn't you get the invite?
lol. Just kidding. We have no clue. I'm sure there will be an annoucement when the time comes. -
IIRC, it was listed as a known issue a while ago. I also thought they said they fixed it too..
On a side note, I just checked my Invul Tanker (which I have never even been to the power customization screen with) and it seems the initial FX appears when activating the power and/or zoning, but nothing after that... even when enemies come into range.
I guess that power still has quite a few glitches in it. -

Well.. I'm home.. with plenty of time before the event. Turns out there is NO SNOW yet..
I think everybody else is as puzzled as I am. The streets are covered.. with salt/sand.. but not a snowflake in sight. I'm sure waking up tomorrow will be a heck of a sight!
Looking at the news, the storm seems to have moved it's course to the south a bit more and might miss us.. or at least not hit us as hard here.
On a side note.. I loved Avatar 3D. -
I'm in for a few boxes... Robin Rogue (Dark/Kin Corr)

Quote:Not only that, but just because the toon has not logged in for that long, does not mean he's still part of the supergroup he/she was part of that far back... which is what I think the OP was originally asking.EDIT: Nevermind, I can beat that. On another server, I have the original version of my main villain, made in 2004, at level 3. He hasn't been logged in for 2053 days.

I'm feeling jelous that nothing is happening in Boston yet.

Quote:Many faction-only, NON-shared badges have alternate names too.MB, I wasn't referring to hiding the "shared" badges -- obviously the name would change and the badge (with the proper red- or blue-side name as altered) would stay on the toon.
I'm referring to the NON-shared badges, ones that are only available to one faction or the other.
Let me put it another way: if my badge toon cannot ADD to its in-game badge count total by switching sides, then I see no point in bothering.
Badges for completing the hero-side TFs have alternate Villain names as well, for example.
