Edit: This is my first anniversary event here. It does seem like everyone is loving this! Since this is the year of both ED and Inventions, is it being treated with extra delight, or are all the anniversaries this big of a deal?

Yeah, one should feel uncomfortable when they are forced to add that to the "Party Preparations" check list.

I like the holiday events, too, but they always feel a bit... light.

I dunno, my first Holiday event was the most recent Halloween, and to be hoenst, I was kind of expecting the entirity of the Roguse Isles to be decorated, with the characters speaking in "spook speak".

What we got was the Night setting switched to permanent.

I know there were a lot of things to do, and I liekd them, but the presentation was a bit off, ya know?

The events in which the Devs are focused have a lot more going on in a more centralized place, so those are the gold nuggets for me.

That happened at this event, as well, but it wasn't lag, it was the sheer number of people was literally swarming the enemies. I saw a crowd of players around a mass of Spider Legs (most I've ever seen of Lord Recluse 'in person') and, when I was on the floor dead, I saw Sicirro (sp?).

Even five feet away, they manage to be elusive!

Naw, I just won Bunco all the way through and declared myself ruler of all that is Bunco. Then we played Mario Party, and my room mate and I broke everyone in that as well (so much strategy!).

Actually, not just wow, though I wanted to say "just wow" because it sounds so dramatic and pretentious.

Some people were annoyed, yes, but I greatly enjoyed the chance to get to spend some time with the makers of the game. It was unexpected, surprising, and an event.

Why do people "kill" for yellow titles? They are proof that they got to hang with the Devs. Obviously, there are exceptions, but that's what I always thought was the case... So this, the "Attack of the Devs" was fun because it was the same thing: A chance to hang on the Devs.

They decided to pull a prank, though. No one got Exp. Debt. No one got Experience. It was completely harmless, and over in less than ten minutes. No harm, no foul. No one even had to leave the club. It was great!

Ya know that story thate veryone tells about how Statesman dropped Giant Monsters onto his griefing team mates?

That's a great story because it was so unexpected and glib. I just got to be a part of one of those stories. I couldn't feel more enthusiastic about it.

This was a time to let our hair down. If this was PvP, yeah, I'd be moaning, groaning, and bemoaning (since it is technically a different word) their actions. It was, however, not that. It was silly fun. I don't think they "beat us" anymore than we "beat them" later.

Your complaint will be more valid if this happens during a PvP event. Until then, have fun with it!

I had screen captured the body count that was tracked in my chat box.

My room mate turned off the computer when I went to the restroom.

Those that lived through the Villainous attack on Pocket D know why.

Just so you know, during the 3rd Anniversary party, several of the Devs took on the collective roles of Lord Recluse and his head cronies.

They then crashed Pocket D (3) and thrashed everyone in there.

We pushed them back, but only eventually, and only after everyone agreed to start being reckless and abuse the Pocket D Rez Chambers.

Really, though, it was a blast.

Yup! For this evening, I will bring in one of my characters who resembles me, and give that character a complete and utter make over to look exactly like me!

(My characters are prone to walking around in their street clothes and using their real names, so this is as "alter-ego" as I can get.)

All right! Just finished redownloading the Test Client (stupid computer had to be formatted...).

At about 6:00-6:30 PM PST, I'll be there in my favorite alter ego...

Just decided: If I can get there tommorrow, I'll go as an exact replica of what I look like in real life.

I'm rather happy that PvP and the ilk are getting attention. Between the work Devs are putting in generally and their focused efforst on making PvP more palatable, this will more than likely be taken care of satisfactoraly.

I have no idea how to spell satisfactorialy.

Shego, the majority of the better jokes are running ones at this point. If you didn't get rain of tomatoes, you may want to reexperience some of the earlier skits.

Also, Rain of Tomatoes was a move that Lou took on relatively early on because he liked tomatoes. He had actually intended to use it to attack movie screens that played bad films, but this occassion called for it as well.

I believe that is Perez Park, if you'd like to just take a nibble outta that one.

Update: Very good! A bit slower than the previous ones, which is a trade off, not an insult.

Additionally, this is the first one that felt, to me, like it was actually insufficient on its own, but an important part of a bigger story. I did love it! I sorta wanted a fight to break out, though. Also, Rain a' tomatahs!
