You're right, SwellGuy. I suppose freedom from certain things can be a blessing. Luckily for us, Emperor Cole has done a fairly good job of determining which freedoms are good and which are bad. Ya know, I heard about this other city where they've been throwing as many freedoms as possible just to see what sticks. Like darts or spaghetti.
That's all right too, I guess. When playing with the lives and trust of your citizens, I guess letting them run wild at the health and safety of the virtuous has its merits. -

When whole families disappear because one parent asked difficult questions about the disappearance of the other parent, then it doesn't really look like Tyrant is too big on child welfare.
If their families are overly concerned, they are welcome to a free rendezvous at this destination free of charge. They may even find that it's such a fantastic opportunity to give their lives to the betterment of Cole's empire that they never return.
With such fantastic programs dedicated to doing what's best for the nations both overseas and home, I can certainly see why you would praise Emperor Cole's concern for childrens' welfare.
Please refrain from calling him Tyrant. We find the title to have a negative connotation. -

Indeed. When I read this, I strongly get the impression that Marauder has no idea how evil much of Praetoria really is. My expectations are now that his story arc will involve your bearing witness to his gradual revelation that he's in too deep into the core rotted apple, as it were.

I specifically went back in time in order to introduce "Drakeisawesome" as a latin word. When language evolved, it would eventually warp to the point that many conversations would have an easter egg meaning of singing my praises.

What might draw more people in would be a standalone hero designer. A free program that could be downloaded and run independently from the net. Give people a chance to get interested in one of the under advertised aspects of the game. Our extensive costume options. Those that use the system would further advertise the game by showing of there heroes. Though it would need to include a way to take a screen shot of there heroes.

When I first got City of Villains (That's right, VILLAINS, Golden_Girl), I was so young... so naive. A distant 3 years ago. My computer wasn't working yet, but I had already purchased the game. I remember reading and re-reading the Items of Power section again and again... again and again. It was only a couple sentences, but I wanted to make sure I had every detailed figured out, so that once I finally got my computer running, I could fall to Base Raids running at full speed.
Then I got into the game.
Then I was sad.
I've obviously since fallen in love with the game, but that's my full memory of the Cathedral. -

Now, we know it's been said the Incarnate system wll require you to be powerful - then again, you are 50. But that doesn't necessairly mean "You'll have to get multiple teams together" - after all, I'm sure the devs have seen how the halloween stuff fizzled after the first few days (and is generally ignored now.)

I hate that the 5th Column was one of the only enemy groups that ranged level 1-53 in the Mission Architect, so I'm guessing that's what cost the company everything.

I think a lot of what affected CoH was either beyond control or not repeatable. Champions Online can only launch once. The recession can't be helped. Going Rogue is launching soon and can't be significantly dragged out again. Issue 17 is great, and so on and so forth.
Even if it was a wound, I'm not overly concerned for the future. -
