Quote:Fair enough. Edit: And I'm sure Bella would disagree with me if she read this, but it's how I feel. There are some people with whom I am not content in their views, but I don't think they're misogynists. I've met real ones. Like, someone who has spent the past five years arguing that women are nothing but toys for his one night stands and that all women will bear the brunt of his disrespect until he reaches closure the girlfriend that dumped him. He explicitly states this. That's misogyny. The problem is that people will say things, and then she'll say it was misogynist because of meaning she attributes to what was said. The speaker determines their meaning, not the listener.
"I don't think that it's a problem that game developers under represent women as protagonists" isn't an active goal. It's passive. It's a dangerous apathy with which I strongly disagree, but I don't think it's misogyny. Just... incorrect.
By the way, you aren't on Skype. I have director's commentary on this conversation, but you need Skype to hear it.

Side note: I'm pretty sure Finn Hudson isn't going to end up with Rachel Berry or Quinn Febray. He's going to propose to the auto-tuner. If he had any loyalty, they'd be married tomorrow. -

4th Era Marcian always got annoyed by people that cared to get gender correct. 5th Era llama confirms that Kali is female, only because she would do so herself.

'Cuz she's not. Some are. She isn't.
And I don't think that everyone's a misogynist. Some people insensitive? Ignorant? Mistaken? A hat trick of yes! But, by my count, misogyny takes an active intent. A looking at a person that identifies as female and feeling an invocation of negative feelings. And most people here don't do that. Not by a long shot.
Realms of reasonableness, dear hearts. The first step of the last step of a debate is errant summation and assumption. -
Quote:And we didn't even need two great artists!Okay, at this point I'm more or less obliged to claim this thread, because it has become essentially The Spartan Thread Part 2. I guess this really is a time for new beginnings.
Rejoice, friends, for the golden age has come once more! -

And what of the commentary? You don't write the Kurt-Finn relationship and not have behind the scenes on what went into writing it!
And bonus: 90% of these special features are actually promo pieces that have been on Hulu for months. They aren't exclusive; they're archival.
Not even going to bother to save up for it. This version is to the inevitable collector's edition what New Directions is to Vocal Adrenaline. - Disc 1:

Quote:I'm not inflexible, except when people are wrong. It was a rhetorical question. All of these guys, like most human beings, have in the past demonstrated the ability to be rather... rigid when the right buttons were pushed. While I realize this is all in good fun, I find it hilarious to point out one person's inflexibility of point of view when it's actually as common in that group as it is anywhere else in human society.

Quote:Holy layers of perfect moment.Sing with me, sing for the years
Sing for the laughter, sing for the tears
Sing with me now, if it's just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good lord will take you away
Definitely a post for those that have been keeping up with the forums. I adore you dearly right now. -

Quote:I smirk knowing she'd say the same about you. Almost word. for. word. Also, while KM can be entertaining at times, she often shows a painful lack of perspective in a number of topics, which lead her to make thoroughly unawesome posts.
You say it's a pipe. She says it's a brush. It's clearly an elephant. -
Meh, not a big deal to me. Just a vague note. I'll focus on loving the pictures as they are. I will now proceed to look for a very specific character...
