  1. Absolutely incredible. Truly fantastic, and the high standard to which I hold you.

Ironically, there already was a MegaMind thread... themed around surprise that there was no MegaMind thread.

I don't know much about Green Lantern, but yes I can definitely see that.

Then I'd rewrite that part of Hal. Heck, Bruce Wayne was rewritten a lot for Dark Knight, and look what happened there.
  5. I'm... not sure I like the director. Something about the shots seems off. Also, it concerns me that there's only one shot of Hal creating something.

If I were in charge of this, I would have leaned hard on the "imagine that you're the hero" aspect of all comic books. Would have spent the whole trailer showing off how powerful Hal's ring, in particular, is.

    Still, I'm interested.

I'd watch this. Seriously. I'd buy this ticket.

Their cover of F--- You (censored to "Forget You") is pretty dang epic. Their "Under My Umbrella/Singing in the Rain" mash-up has me grabbing holy water and a crucifix.

And Holly Holiday? Glee sure does love to come up with funny names for their guest stars (Brian Ryan springs to mind. Or was it Ryan Brian?)
Brian Ryan. And yes, agreed on the names. I assume that Holly Holiday will be a villain, then.

This show's introduced some pretty amazing villains. I wish they would write them out of the series so much. Both the Reform School for Girls and the Academy for the Deaf were great. Sunshine Carazon... she needs to come back. She's the perfect "I'm you... but evil" for Rachel, because she's her but nice.
  8. If I could do things differently? I'd never mention ED ever.

Also, anyone else consider it ironic that ED was such a flop?

ED barely affected me because I joined after it and had no idea what I was missing, which is essentially what I was wishing upon everyone else.
  11. Enhancement Diversification, Inventions, and Wentworth's from the first issue.

ED wouldn't have been such a big deal if people didn't know what they were missing, and one of the biggest criticisms of this game, from what I saw, was that the game had no functioning economy. I feel like that should have been the main priority, as it's one of the best ways to unobtrusively attract a new demographic.
  12. Glee takes a Holiday.

Today's episode has the awesomely surprising guest star Gwyneth Paltrow. Playing Holly Holiday, she takes over for Will Schuester when he is forced to stay home sick.

Your immediate thought may be "Paltrow can sing?" If you can't wait to find out, click here for the answer.

    See you tonight!

Oh, and alternate discussion: It's still a discussion as to who Kurt's boyfriend is going to be. Speculation?

Exactly. I mean it's their perogative who they invite, so I wasn't bitter (Which is why I haven't brought it up until now). But I was confused as to why i19 was the issue where they realized how much nicer the day is when Marcian isn't Glee-ing it up.
  15. Thank you Golden Girl. It's a wedding ring day, indeed.

Edit: I was wondering why I wasn't invited to this Beta. I know I've never been the best tester, but it seemed weird that this was the one time I didn't make the cut.

Toss my name in for the "Anecdotal Evidence" ring.

My hobby is to make characters whose behavior and concept are contradictory to vital City of Heroes' core concepts and then make threads about it.

I'm still typing up my thread on my Buddhist hero that considers rankings so offensive as to be as close to blasphemy as the Buddhist faith allows. It's insulting to me that the devs still have a leveling system after I made this character.

My main's backstory is that he's allergic to magic water and will die if he sips any. I can't wait to see how the devs rearrange the game to accommodate that, but I have faith that they will.

Yes. I picked the red suit because I had never seen him before, the black suit because it was the default, and the alleyway looked the most like City of Heroes.

Lady Blackcape has no real personality traits besides "Straight Main" in the writing. Everything about the red suit was added after I had got halfway through the script. It was an afterthought based on the fact that I had just then realized how silly his outfit was.

I know it sounds outlandish, but the fact that I seem to have copied all of you is pure coincidence.

Edit: Again, I claim complete vanity in the following, but it is true: I believed that Xtranormal was a new site and that I was the first one to ever do a City of Heroes video.

I can say with absolute honesty that it literally didn't even occur to me that any City of Heroes fan had used this site before. I genuinely, in my absolute vanity, thought that I was the first.

You have presented now the fourth video that would win a lawsuit against me.

    I'm... I'm so original.

This trailer made me smile rather sincerely.

Naw, truth be told, I'm less interested in the show by the week. Haven't bought a new song from the new season. Still, I figured for the small resistance movement of people that support Glee on these forums deserved to know this album was out.

    Also, Kurt/Blaine duet.
