MarDun

As I am trying to get back into drawing, I was wondering:

1) What kind of paper do you use? What is that blue-ish paper for drawing I see?
2) Pencil?
3) Any stencils or rulers?
4) What should I practice on? Movement, body, etc?
5) I am focusing on Smurfs, and "Fusion or Simplistic style"

Any other tips not listed above would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe try the glove feature "long sleeve", I believe? This will give you the option of adding the lines to the sleeves and not the hands. Long sleeve is not a tight fit.

I was looking for a look not so hostile. A little more lighter and more norse looking.

After much work and time, Punkgutu has finished the MarDun statue.

I can't begin to tell you how happy I am to finally have a statue. You can't see much, but the detail is crazy! You can see the wrinkles and stretching in the leather pants. The armor is perfectly accurate. The buckle detail is mind bending. He is about a foot tall and very heavy. He is on display at a friends gaming store right now.

Punkgutu was a class act all the way. Very attentive to what I wanted, kept in close contact through email. All around a very talented artist and great person!
