Yeah, I love how your definition of "iconic" is "well-known in America". Here's a non-exhaustive list of Japanese cultural icons from anime and manga:

    Doraemon
Kenshiro (Fist of the North Star)
    Goku
Gundam (and most of the AU's major characters)
Pick any protagonist from a series by Go Nagai
    Astro Boy
    Captain Harlock
    Irresponsible Captain Taylor
    Tetsujin 28 (aka Gigantor)
    Noriko and Kazumi (Gun Buster)

Oh, and Naruto is not even close to getting on that list.
  3. Also, it says that he specifically swerved so that he would take the brunt of the impact.

    HERO.
  4. I like Unconditional Cosmic Dictatorship.

You got a problem with how I run things? Okay, now you never existed! Anyone else got a problem?

For those who don't know: The first four dudes in Cannon Fodder are named after the design staff. Richard Joseph, aka "Rj", died of cancer in 2007. It has only increased the tendency for the game's cult fanbase to do everything in their power to keep the design staff alive.

A true hero. Words just don't do him justice.
It's because our corporate overlords arrange events for this stuff to happen.

I know not what Brain Wood did to anger them, but my guess is that he got too close to the truth.

Is it sad that that was one of the best episodes?

The others were the Phylis Diller and Don Knotts episodes.

Poor guy doesn't even have a Wikipedia page...

We'll remember you, dude. Company of Heroes is a pretty good series for WWII RTSes, too, so, yeah, good job, man. You did well before you had to check out.

4e isn't my favorite and it's a little MMOish, but it can be fairly solid fun nonetheless (for me anyway).
Pathfinder buffs the default classes so that they're as powerful as all the various splats from other books, but the rules are more or less identical, because it uses the OGL.

But you can call me Dot, wife of prince Jeffri Bolkiah former finance minister of Brunei the tiny oil rich sultanate on the gulf Island of Borneo. I would save your time by not amplifying my royal family history which has already been disseminated by the International media during the controversial dispute that erupted between my husband and his step brother the sultan of brunei sheik Hassanal Bolkiah. As you may wish to know, the sultan had accused my husband of financial mis-management and impropriety of US $2.8 billion which was as a result of the Asian financial crisis that made the government owned Amedeo Development Corporation (ADC) and Brunei investment Company to be declared bankrupt Furthermore my husband was indeed kept under house-arrest, and later developed heart problems while in detention but has been restricted from travelling outside the province for proper medical care also his private bank accounts and several properties have been confiscated by the sultanate thus completely obliterating his distinguished position in the country's history. However during this gory period,I was advised to evacuate my immediate family outside the province to avoid further intimidations from the sultan and his network of security operatives; so we went ahead to dispatch under special arrangement the sum of US$48,000,000 into the safe custody of a private security and trust Company to enable my family survive life abroad. Hence I seek your good assistance to invest these US$48,000,000 into profitable ventures due to reliable inadications that your country has a viable economic growth.

Nevertheless after subsequent deliberations, we have decided to offer 20% to you as compensations for your anticipated cooperation while 10% have been mapped out to cover local/international expenses that might be incurred during the course of transaction. Please kindly note that my family has been humiliated and jeopardized by this unfortunate incident, but will count on your utmost considerations towards the actualization of this investments abroad. Finally I look forward to your prompt response through my private e-mail: totallynotascam@scam.org to necessitate the immediate release of funds into your country. Thank you and God bless.

    I remain, yours sincerely

I'd love to, but I'm currently waiting for a transaction to finish involving a nice gentleman from Nigeria.

Actually, I don't own it, but I read it once. At least, the collection of his "Dear Economist" letters, I haven't read his first book.

Also, we are so sophisticated because we read The Financial Times.

With all the "Dear Arcanaville" threads I've seen, she should start her own advice column. It'd be like The Financial Times' The Undercover Economist's column, "Dear Economist" (much more helpful than you'd think).

That's because the smaller version of any item is inherently inferior to the original (except in the case of cars, where it's reversed).
