Well, for the life of me I can't figure out how to insert the pics I have of my Fishyman. I've only recently evolved past cuniform and chiseling hash marks into stone, so that might be part of the problem.
I have "Add Image" but it asks for a link. Do I have to go to Image Shack or somtheing to have them host the pic so I can link to it? Seems awfully convoluted.
Ah well, once I figure this out, I'll post it tomorrow night for yoozin's approval.

Wow ... well thank goodness. We talked about turning the PCSF "dark" and evolving a plotline to explain it. As such, Paris was about to possess Wylde's body (because of a magical accident), complete with gender change, and Wylde would be trapped in the plant...!
But today Wylde, and the sanity of the world, was saved by fish people!
I'm at work ATM, but will see what I can manage for a costume tonight. I don't even know what AT I want to play yet! Something with Ice I'm thinking ...
"Codfather" would make such a sweet name for a fish guy. Sadness. I'll review those river names and see what great puns I can come up with!

I wouldn't expect Issue 20 until CoH's Seventh Anniversary. From what people say it's huge and wonderful - they're not going to want to waste that on a miscellaneous date before then.
So that's my guess: April 2011. -
My Earth Control/Fiery Assault Dominator (No purple IO sets, no perma-dom, only a few IO sets but otherwise common IOs) was able to hold him after a short period of time chasing and destroying clones. I was able to take him out before he freed himself.
I don't know if luck was a factor or not, but I nailed him to the top of the central platform with Domination / Volcanic gasses and fossilize (both with complete sets of Lockdown with the +2 mag proc, though I did not see the electrical effect indicating that the +2 mag had procced). I was surprised when it happened, and turned back to pour on the damage.
He didn't clone while I had him held, but I took him down fast (I popped everything I could).
Luck? Or is he Holdable at a low Mag? I don't know. -
My crazy theory is that Issue 20 will be a complete revamp of everything, and will be not be released until CoH's 7th Anniversary in the Spring.
Someone once said that Nostradamus might be an ancestor of mine from waaaay back, I think as far back as the Oligocene, so I'm guessing I'm 100% right on this. -

I was replying to the concern that someone expressed as few posts above mine that the "naked alpha slot" should provide some kind of benefit. After all, we have been exposed to the Well, albeit indirectly. My suggestion for a solution to their concern was to say that maybe the exposure to the Well (the slot) could grant a tiny amount of ... something. Nothing that would make a tremendous difference, and something you'd still want to replace. But it would give something.
That was all.
I've already earned two of the uncommon boosts and I am not complaining about the system. Again, I was offering an idea to address a concern that was not my own. -
Maybe the Alpha Slot should come with a default enhancement, even just a plain, dull gray one that boosts your Accuracy, Damage, Recharge, or Endurance Reduction by 5% each. That way there's SOMETHING there, and you'd be able to run the Apex/Tin Mage TFs.
It could be like the Origin Temp Powers we all get when we create a new character; useful in a tiny way. -

Ny, I am open to whatever cool new story ideas you come up with. I like the AE, but I need to work on the timing of my copy/paste skills ... When leading an AE team, it's hard to keep up with all the dialogue, because the cutting and pasting needs to be done is segments (you can only copy so many words), then you have to read what the dialogue says, then you have to review what everyone has commented about it in character, then you have to decide what you want to reply to, and if its worth the effort now that it's buried in a column of already-completed role play! But such is the selfless sacrifice in the name of the team.
Nox, I like the idea of heading towards Vigilante, to me it seems the natural progression given what we've just been through. Plus, I don't have a Vigilante character yet. (Though i do have a Rogue).
Since the demise of Praetorius Wylde is without a master. I believe his next step would be to seek out the Midnighters for access to spells and others knowledgeable in magic. My primary loyalty will be to the PCSF, of course, the Midnighter's Club would be, to Wylde, a club with resources for us to use. Would there be any problem with that?

Sadly, the only electronic game-playing devices I own are my Pleistocene-aged cell phone and my Commodore-64 that I play CoH on.

I'm at work and can't access YouTube to post a link, but, on that site, there exists a video of a Rad/Sonic Defender taking down the GM/Crey's Folly version of Jurassik. (She had enough recharge to have 2 Shivans out, as I recall.) It looked to be a very expensive build, the fight was longish, but it was amazing to watch.
Now, if you consider Shivans and Nukes and such a "cheat" when fighting AV/GMs, then maybe it wasn't so amazing. -
