Thats why you can't monitor resistance debuff in combat attributes.
  3. The only thing that influences how many shards you get is the number of kills your team gets. You want more shards? Kill more dudes.

In this way, if you are clearing missions, the LGTF is probably best because of the massive numbers of mobs, but which TF you do it on is irrelevant. A RANDOM roll is made for each eligible person on the team independent of each other for each kill the team makes. The only way to make drops for shards more likely is to be on a task force. Pick your favorite TF and go to town.

The reason people get higher and lower number of shards on different TF's is because of the different ways they can be run. People in this thread talk about getting 8-10 shards on ITF. With my group of global friends and the way we do high speed runs, I'm luck to get 3 shards on an ITF.
  4. Mine has 3 num and 3 miracles with T4 spiritual for about 131% enhancement. I usually agree with Ultrawatt, but this time my 150+ hp/s with full rttc dissagrees.
  5. I still say the -tohit is too small to make enhancing really worth it, especially since the +regen is so huge. It is one of those few powers I'd actually suggest enhancing past ED to get the absolute most out of that +regen.
  6. I'm guessing on a crashless god mode for Omega. Likely capped resists/defense to everything with recovery buff.

The rest who knows. Lots of good ideas being thrown around here though. I'd almost guarantee that none of them will allow you to rechoose your primary or secondary power sets though. The devs have been pretty clear on their position on that even though every few months people keep asking for it.
  7. Once in a while though, I wonder just how massively tough my stoner could be with all the incarnate buffs. Then I go play in MIDs for a bit until I look at the huge number of days he's been offline and once again question if its worth the effort.
  8. My Stoner has been shelved since inherent fitness and the alpha slot. My SS/WP became so unkillable that the drawbacks of granite just don't seem worth it anymore. This has become even more so with destiny buffs. Unkillable isn't as good as unkillable thats able to run and jump.

Every kill the TEAM gets rolls to drop a shard seperately for each person. Meaning on a team of 8, each time someone kills something, all 8 people on the team (if they are eligible to get shards) have a chance to get a shard, but each is rolled seperately. So some may get a shard from that kill and some might not, or even no one. How many kills you personal character gets doesn't matter.

I'm pretty sure its unlawful to claim that any task force that takes over an hour is a "speed run."

Speed LGTF should be 30 min or less or your doing it wrong.

That will edge regeneration up slightly; by 66% regen base, and more at the peaks.
I know Spiritual boosts the amount of the initial heal also on Rebirth.
  12. I'd say Fire/sd. You get the psuedo weapon attacks to kinda fit your theme and its great for both single target and AOE damage. I have one thats Fire/SD/Pyre plays great solo or on teams. Its just missing a heal but thats only a power pool or a dozen or so incarnate trials away.
  13. It all depends on the rest of your slotting. I'm pretty sure that once your into ED lvls of damage enhancement any proc is better than slotting for more damage.

    For @Hannah 15

Needs alot of work. I think this was a purposefully cheap build. Well, I hope so anyways.
  15. The Brute hitpoint numbers matter less on SD than WP. If you go with /SD, I'd suggest a scrapper the dmg numbers are amazing with AAO and darks pbaoe build up (can't remember what its called.)

WP will be better to Exemp down if you do much of that. Its pretty much a toss up though at 50 with IO's. Invuln is a little bit tougher, and WP is very user friendly. With a good build though both can be made unkillable in nearly all PVE content.

This power caps my shield scrappers HP with just one heal IO in it. Plus it's just a mild crash. I like it alot much better then unstoppable or elude or one of those types of tier 9s. Each their own I guess.
Ahh I forgot about the +hp.

I usually take OwtS but only as a good place to slap a steadfast 3%def

    Most fun?

Change the Fire/cold controller into a corrupter and then go with that.
  19. Before Incarnate I would have said WP, but the incarnate powers fill in the holes of Invuln in recovery and regen much better than they do for will power.
  20. Just to recommend the fire/cold some more.

I Ran a Trio ITF last night with my Fire/cold. Fairly impressive in itself, but we finished in less than 31 minutes and only one death. The last stage computer defense woke up and basically one shotted me.

    Team make up:
Fire/cold corr (me doing all the heavy lifting)
    Earth/earth dom
    SS/EA brute

We might run another one tonight with optimized toons to see how fast we can do it. I'm at work now, but tonight I'll try and post a couple of the screen shots I took.
  21. Even if it was possible, I don't see a huge benefit from it. If you are thinking about perma OwtS, I'd think you are already softcapped, and the +resist and +recovery aren't that strong to make a big impact on an already softcapped toon.
  22. There is obviously some randomness to it, but I don't believe "choice of component is random and is not dependent on personal participation." Because if that is true my ss/fire brute is the luckiest character ever.
  23. Stupid work! It took me so long to make my post the OP has already rerolled his fire/cold.

    ^^^^This

Fire/cold is massively awesome, but it really doesn't start to shine until you get sleet, which is lvl 38 I think. At that point, it turns into a machine of death.

Mine has turned into my favorite lvl 50 character. Sleet + Rain of Fire + T3 Reactive interface = the awesome. Incarnate has been very good to this guy. Spiritual Alpha for better recharge, reactive interface makes any pseudo pet rain into a crashless nuke, lore pets significantly boost single target dmg, and rebirth destiny for a self heal that cold was missing.

If your looking for a end game monster, you can't go wrong with fire/cold. It can solo very well and brings great buffs and even better debuffs to a team.

I am so sorry my typo offended you so badly....seriously get over it.

The Dev's have put out so much conflicting info on this subject that I'm pretty sure they have hardly any idea what is actually occuring. Which is why I posted my experience on the matter and didn't try and pass it off as fact.
