  1. All the attacks will be done while riding the titan weapon like a pogo stick.

No, you can't turn them in for A-merits as a Vig/Rogue, but if you could, A-merits cost exactly 50 reward merits and 20 Million. So should you chose to go fully hero, or back fully Villain, you've at least got the Reward Merits to turn in for an A-Merit.
    Actually, 60 merits.
  3. I'm considering moving Major Decoy to another server and making a new one on my home server. The other option is just making Major Distraction.

I just have to decide between Shield Defense/Super Strength, Shield Defense/Martial Arts, and Shield Defense/Street Justice.

I "was" certain that, even if I had to pay a premium, I would be able to permanently unlock content.
I was under the impression that if you wanted to emphasize a word, you used bold, italics, or even underline rather than quotation marks. Quotation marks around the word makes me read it sarcastically, which, in turn, makes me read the entire sentence sarcastically.

But now I see the truth. "Quotation marks" added "haphazardly" to a short essay "really" make a huge difference.

Knock-out blow has a range of 13 feet. Cleave has a range of 10 feet. Shatter has a range of 8 feet.

It's not uncommon for heavier attacks to have longer ranges.

Well, we know one power is smashing damage. We don't know about any of the others yet.
  7. I am capable of zooming in to see different costume parts currently, but only when I don't have a specific part selected. I can zoom in when I've selected "head" but not if I've selected "face." I can zoom if I've selected Torso, but not if I've selected "Chest Detail."

It's kind of weird and I can't say precisely when it started.

Amazingly that is the smallest waist setting. What happened is the armored top was causing an odd distortion in the belt sides without the build being scaled pretty beefy, leading to the size you see. I separately tried dropping the armored top entirely and just going for tight, which looks cool and very classicly heroic, but I started realizing that I really liked him with the bulk: He looks less sculpted then a lot of the signature characters and especially with the solid helmet he makes me think of a football player turned hero.
I generally find that if the waist sticks out over the belt, the solution is actually to increase the waist slider, not decrease it.

Edit: Nevermind, it appears that Armoured torsos expand a bit differently.

When I saw it it was a 30 minute recharge, it cost 48.5 Endurance, and had a penalty of -25% max endurance that I don't recall the duration of.

Hopefully, the order of the Endurance cost and the -25% max endurance is:

    100 End - 48.5 end = 51.5 end remaining out of 75 end possible

    rather than

    100 end * 75% = 75 End - 48.5 end = 26.5 end remaining.

By contrast, almost none of the characters I can think or conceive of who CAN turn invisible can also turn intangible. The conceptual link there is very tenuous.
Martian Manhunter is capable of decreasing his density to the point of intangibility and also turning invisible. Ghost is an Iron Man villain that's capable of Intagibility and Invisibility.

Concept wise though: Invisible characters can make light pass through them as if they were not there. Intangible characters can make matter pass through them as if they were not there. It's not a huge leap to put them in the same pool.

They generally follow through on what they show us, so why would I choose to believe the opposite?
Well, in this case, I do rather believe that they decided "You know what, I don't think we want to do this."

Aid Self is one of the more powerful self heals in the game. Sure, it has an interrupt time, but unless I'm taking DoT, I can usually use it during combat, without any interrupt reduction slotting.

And Invisibility without needing to take Stealth? Why would you take stealth if that were an option?

Right, I'm aware they said nothing about it at the panel. It's just something I noticed when playing on the floor, so I asked them about it, and I was told that it was something they were trying.

I do understand if they aren't trying it anymore. I know the difference between a beta build and a live build.

  15. There's no harm in new power pools either. Why not have different power pools that offer fly? Give them different names or lock a player out from taking Fly if she already has the other power that is Fly.

    New Fly Pool
Glide: Activating this toggle drastically decreases the rate at which you fall (probably by changing your jump speed to be very small)
Eagle Eye: Build-up, but with only a 40% damage boost and a 10% to hit buff.
    Flight: As fly
Aerial Acrobatics: As Acrobatics. This one requires taking two other powers from this pool.
Death from Above: As the new leap attack.

I mean, why not offer multiple ways to fly?

That's been changed then? Because I was told differently at the SDCC.

Edit: Well, I was told that it was working as intended during the beta that the third tier powers were available at level four. I'm aware that it was just something that they were trying at the time, not something that they were promising with Issue 21.
  17. The problem with the one robot arm is that it severely limits your chest options. Dave just doesn't look right with a tie.

This further cements my need for: 1) Dress shirt 2 as a tight chest option, on both men and women. 2) Things like vests in the chest details options.

I tried Sleek Tights, and it almost looked like he was wearing a mock turtle neck, especially with the long sleeve option on his left arm, but I wasn't entirely happy with it.

Well, yes, but the only Kheldian specific arcs are Hero Side and the only Soldiers of Arachnos arcs are villain side.

It's entirely possible that, aside from putting the archetype enhancements in the store, they've also added the archetype enhancements to the drop tables.

I will say, though, it's possible, but there is no evidence to suggest that they have done so.

  24. Johnny, unless you know more about the proc than I do, you don't know enough to criticize it yet.

Yes, it's +res(all) instead of damage. That doesn't mean it's necessarily a bad proc.

Let's find out just what the numbers are before you ask for it to be improved (or changed to something else).
