  1. Well, don't blame me, I never decided to play on a German client.

You should use it; on tankers it debuffs enemy resistances by 20%. It's really nice.

Which is precisely why we can't have a chain mail bikini. Just the same way people complain that this is becoming City of Final Fantasy with the release of titan weapons.

Hence the "are we going to see chain mail options soon"?

Because it'd be nice. Chain mail shirts with Tunic chest detail options, new medieval helms. Or maybe it'd be Chain Mail Shirt 1, Chain Mail Shirt 2. Chain Mail Shirt 1 would just be the shirt, 2 would have the tunic.

And female characters would get a chain mail bustier.
  6. So, it's a glove option, and it's just white. No fingers, it doesn't accept any colours or textures. It's not even the costume option white, it's whiter.

Are we going to see chain mail options soon?

I'm guessing that those who never ever ever take Fly also then never ever ever use any of the wings in the costume creator?
The wings flap during the fall portion of Beast Jump, so if you've got bat wings or cherub wings, it's kind of cute because it looks like you're trying your best to keep flying, but the wing just aren't up to the task.

Never is a long time. If she just sat down and counted the number of build options for a single archetype, it wouldn't take more than a week.

Unfortunately, neither power recharges quickly enough to do that every spawn.
  10. I'll eat hot dogs with:

    a) Catsup, deli mustard, onions, and sweet relish
    b) deli mustard, onions, peppers, and tomatoes
    c) Chili, onion, and cheese
    d) wrapped in a tortilla with avocado slices, onion, and tomato

But no combinations of the above.

I still often take Hover before Fly (and yes I take and like Fly) because I'd rather have the tactical capability in missions earlier than I worry about getting to (most) missions faster.

Edit: I'm not sure if they do anything (or can even be used) with Afterburner.
    Just to check:

Fly speed with Afterburner active: 116,40 Km/h
Fly speed with Afterburner and Dampfsprungjet active: 140,50 Km/h (This is denoted in blue as capped flight speed)

It should be noted that my Fly is not enhanced for fly speed.

Super Jump is more thematically appropriate for certain characters. I have a Willpower/Stone tank that looks outright silly with Ninja Run active.

I have two characters that use the Rocket Board. Neither of them have toggles. I like having a travel power that I can use in mission without having to worry about turning my defenses back on before I leap into a group of enemies.

Oh, that's another thing, you can have Flight and Stealth active at the same time.
  13. As long as we're talking build diversity, I'm going to draw attention my signature and my other power pool suggestion thread.

Upon closer examination, I have a couple of powers in the Night-Owl pool that cannot be slotted at all.
  14. I thought the exploit was being able to use the Category A Defense Debuff enhancements to buff Defense in powers, instead of needing to use the Category B Defense Buff enhancements.
  15. You know, they should change Build-Up for stalkers. Rather than a Damage Buff, it should give every power a 100% chance to critical, allowing for guaranteed triple criticals when hidden.

Edit: Hm, that wouldn't work at all for Kinetic Melee though.

Well, I agree with you on the idea that every character would be truly unique, but only because there wouldn't be anyone playing the game.

IF there were still hundreds of people playing, then there would still be fewer varieties of Energy/Energy Blaster than there would be players. Actually, since you'd have far fewer powers to slot, there'd be significantly less variety even.

I don't think I can agree with you on that. I mean, Fire Tanks and Invulnerability tanks certainly won't have most. Empathy Defenders don't get anything but heals and clear mind before level 10. Force Field won't have dispersion bubble. Trick Arrow won't have acid arrow. Stalkers won't have placate.

5 out of 9 tanks arguably have all of the core powers for their primary sets at level 10. And tanks will have more of their core powers for their defensive sets available than the other melee characters. Brutes do considerably worse, with only 3 of 10 arguably having all core powers.
  20. I also have a level 50 regeneration stalker. I have the Spiritual Core boost, and I still don't have endurance troubles. If Hide were made inherent and Quick Recovery was added to the Regeneration set, I would be looking at the power pools to see what else I could add to my build.

However, something added to the set that improved my ability to reduce incoming damage? That would be exceptionally helpful.
  21. For Yet another comparison, Secular Energy is my Energy/Energy/Munitions Mastery blaster.

Force Mastery was tempting, but for concept reasons, I needed to take Magic Missile.

For similar reasons, I also have Fireball, Cone of Cold, and Chain Lightning all in my spell book, even if I can only use one per Task Force.

Can't grant insta-Hide because of the offensive advantage that'd give the set... Don't really want to do another PBAoE Placate for risk of it getting overabundant...

The only thing that really comes to mind is Invincibility. I don't know if an explanation was ever offered for that power, but I imagine your enemies are so determined to defeat you that they just start swinging wildly and begin to miss. For Regeneration, that works because the more you heal, the more reckless your enemies will get to try and wear you down; and the more likely they are to miss... or something.

Invincibility may promote a playstyle where being in the middle of the action is preferred, but it's better than Quick Recovery, so I'm going with it for now until a better idea comes along:

Invincibility - Toggle PBAoE - Self +Def +ToHit, Foe -ToHit
Being a melee character promotes a playstyle where being in the middle of the action is preferred.

I think giving it self +Def and Foe -to hit is doubling up there. Just Self +Def, +to hit is fine, as long as it doesn't include a taunt aura.
