Well, don't blame me, I never decided to play on a German client.

Quote:Hence the "are we going to see chain mail options soon"?Sounds like a mistaken leak. Just like how the Gunslinger Costume Set is on the market but isn't actually available.
Because it'd be nice. Chain mail shirts with Tunic chest detail options, new medieval helms. Or maybe it'd be Chain Mail Shirt 1, Chain Mail Shirt 2. Chain Mail Shirt 1 would just be the shirt, 2 would have the tunic.
And female characters would get a chain mail bustier. -
So, it's a glove option, and it's just white. No fingers, it doesn't accept any colours or textures. It's not even the costume option white, it's whiter.
Are we going to see chain mail options soon? -
Quote:The wings flap during the fall portion of Beast Jump, so if you've got bat wings or cherub wings, it's kind of cute because it looks like you're trying your best to keep flying, but the wing just aren't up to the task.Yes. Some people still use Fly: It would also look rather odd for these characters to be zipping about everywhere with Ninja or Beast Run, and since they have these lovely wings, they don't need the Rocket Board or Raptor Pack after level 6 (or 4 or whenever the travel power opens up now).
I'm guessing that those who never ever ever take Fly also then never ever ever use any of the wings in the costume creator? -

Quote:There are two things that make Regeneration capable of dealing with the alpha strike: Moment of Glory and Revive. Then you WILL get aggro unless someone else is managing it. That's to be expected and that's why you have a melee defensive secondary.
Unfortunately, neither power recharges quickly enough to do that every spawn. -
I'll eat hot dogs with:
a) Catsup, deli mustard, onions, and sweet relish
b) deli mustard, onions, peppers, and tomatoes
c) Chili, onion, and cheese
d) wrapped in a tortilla with avocado slices, onion, and tomato
But no combinations of the above. -
Quote:Just to check:Unless they added something new, they don't increase your flight speed with Fly, because it puts you at the flight speed cap starting at around level 25 even with zero enhancement. They do fairly dramatically increase your movement speed with Hover, though. I still often take Hover before Fly (and yes I take and like Fly) because I'd rather have the tactical capability in missions earlier than I worry about getting to (most) missions faster.
Edit: I'm not sure if they do anything (or can even be used) with Afterburner.
Fly speed with Afterburner active: 116,40 Km/h
Fly speed with Afterburner and Dampfsprungjet active: 140,50 Km/h (This is denoted in blue as capped flight speed)
It should be noted that my Fly is not enhanced for fly speed. -
Quote:Super Jump's Jump speed (unslotted) is 67.8 mph. Ninja Run's jump speed is 51.8 mph. Super Jump accepts enhancements and as such, is gets bonuses from Alpha slots. Ninja Run does not. Super Jump is more thematically appropriate for certain characters. I have a Willpower/Stone tank that looks outright silly with Ninja Run active.SJ & Flight is much slower than NR and Steam Jump/Jump Pack combined.
I have two characters that use the Rocket Board. Neither of them have toggles. I like having a travel power that I can use in mission without having to worry about turning my defenses back on before I leap into a group of enemies.
Oh, that's another thing, you can have Flight and Stealth active at the same time. -
As long as we're talking build diversity, I'm going to draw attention my signature and my other power pool suggestion thread.
Upon closer examination, I have a couple of powers in the Night-Owl pool that cannot be slotted at all. -
I thought the exploit was being able to use the Category A Defense Debuff enhancements to buff Defense in powers, instead of needing to use the Category B Defense Buff enhancements.
-
You know, they should change Build-Up for stalkers. Rather than a Damage Buff, it should give every power a 100% chance to critical, allowing for guaranteed triple criticals when hidden.
Edit: Hm, that wouldn't work at all for Kinetic Melee though. -
And Good Vibes.
-
Better than a power thrust baster.
-
Quote:Well, I agree with you on the idea that every character would be truly unique, but only because there wouldn't be anyone playing the game.Noooo, the other extreme would be two power slots, but still 24 powers + pools to choose from. Then every character would truly be unique. I'd have a Power Thrust blaster, and you'd have a Boost Range one, and they wouldn't resemble each other at all.
IF there were still hundreds of people playing, then there would still be fewer varieties of Energy/Energy Blaster than there would be players. Actually, since you'd have far fewer powers to slot, there'd be significantly less variety even. -

I thought you did have all three nukes, but closer inspection reveals one of the supposed Nukes to the the Enchantment of Seraphina.
-
Quote:I don't think I can agree with you on that. I mean, Fire Tanks and Invulnerability tanks certainly won't have most. Empathy Defenders don't get anything but heals and clear mind before level 10. Force Field won't have dispersion bubble. Trick Arrow won't have acid arrow. Stalkers won't have placate.1-10 powers. More often than not, these are the player's core powers anyway.
5 out of 9 tanks arguably have all of the core powers for their primary sets at level 10. And tanks will have more of their core powers for their defensive sets available than the other melee characters. Brutes do considerably worse, with only 3 of 10 arguably having all core powers. -
I also have a level 50 regeneration stalker. I have the Spiritual Core boost, and I still don't have endurance troubles. If Hide were made inherent and Quick Recovery was added to the Regeneration set, I would be looking at the power pools to see what else I could add to my build.
However, something added to the set that improved my ability to reduce incoming damage? That would be exceptionally helpful. -
For Yet another comparison, Secular Energy is my Energy/Energy/Munitions Mastery blaster.

For similar reasons, I also have Fireball, Cone of Cold, and Chain Lightning all in my spell book, even if I can only use one per Task Force. -
Quote:Being a melee character promotes a playstyle where being in the middle of the action is preferred.Regeneration
Quick Recovery was the original WTF moment for Stalkers. Of all the powers to remove, why that one? Well, who knows? Point is, it's gone, and adding it back won't help you hide any more than a random dance emote will. Can't really give a mega Defense buff because of doubling up on Shadow Dweller... Can't grant insta-Hide because of the offensive advantage that'd give the set... Don't really want to do another PBAoE Placate for risk of it getting overabundant...
The only thing that really comes to mind is Invincibility. I don't know if an explanation was ever offered for that power, but I imagine your enemies are so determined to defeat you that they just start swinging wildly and begin to miss. For Regeneration, that works because the more you heal, the more reckless your enemies will get to try and wear you down; and the more likely they are to miss... or something.
Invincibility may promote a playstyle where being in the middle of the action is preferred, but it's better than Quick Recovery, so I'm going with it for now until a better idea comes along:
Invincibility - Toggle PBAoE - Self +Def +ToHit, Foe -ToHit
I think giving it self +Def and Foe -to hit is doubling up there. Just Self +Def, +to hit is fine, as long as it doesn't include a taunt aura. -
