Quote:They shouldn't, they're significantly cheaper than purples.Kheldian ones are cheap on Market, woot! Got 3 Dom ones off Market, hopefully they never reach purple prices.
400 merits is 8 alignment merits
Purple recipes cost 20.
That said, with the items that transform one enhancement into another coming soon, I'm surprised any of the enhancements are cheaper than others. -
Quote:With the "multi-state" powers, this one might be able to be done. When the power is not active, the attacks act as normal, with the power active, every attack would have a second state wherein the attack does not check for line of sight on the target.Bend Bullets- Once a target is in the reticle and this power is activated it allows the target to be hit even if the target becomes blocked as long as that target remains alive. Recharge- Long
That said, it would require them to go through every power set this power was available to and set it to have those two states.
The complaint then becomes "This power looks wonky," because your blasts would just shoot through walls without doing any damage to the walls. -
Quote:Yes, the powers are very useful indeed. But I do feel the powers are slightly more useful than the shifts. For example the rebirth/incandescence destiny in Keyes is a god send, judgement makes the ending fight of Lam easier, Clarion is needed for UG etc.
However, there are edge cases where the level shifts are more useful.
For example, if you've got a level 50 running around on the TPN. I've done this. I'm fine against the level 54 characters, but against Malestrom, I'm essentially just there to get targetted for death and then run away, and in so doing, keep a more valuable player from having to run away. -
Quote:Hmm...Too much work. Use the Cosmetic Surgeon and costume slots to change all toons to the female model. There, you doubled your wardrobe!
Also, I hope all your toons were named variations of "Pat" and "Chris".
I've got twenty characters. The ones that do not have gender neutral names:
BatYitzhak
Rayna Giftig
Mihrelle
Erda
Mister Walter Finch
Instigator Delores
Dame Frisky Tibbles -
I'm not trying to get you to buy super packs or not want the costume. I'm just saying; There's no reason to get angry about it now. If they announce that it will only ever be exclusive to super packs, then it's a good time to get angry.

Quote:In this specific incidence, people complained, the complaints were heard, and while alternative methods to get the ATOs were added, at this time, there is no alternative method to get the Costume. It has been oft requested, and the developers haven't said that there will never be another method to get the costume, but at current time, it is a Super Pack exclusive. If we complain about the Super Pack-only costume as soon as we learn about it, it's "too early to make a fuss, wait for more details".
If we complain while it's on Beta, it's "still on Beta, they may change it yet".
If we complain when it comes out and the alternate was of getting it is *still* not here, it's "well it's not exactly new information, it's too late to complain now".
I don't really see how it's different from the pre-order arachnos helmets. -
I think it's nice that they can be acquired with reward merits but not alignment merits, so it's actually easier to get them on Vigilantes and Rogues than Heroes or Villains. Which, given how much more value 1 alignment merit has than 60 reward merits, is a good change.

Is the costume supposed to be a standard Arbiter costume? If so, why not use the Padded Armour tights?

Quote:I can see how a decimal point can turn 2 hours into 20 hours, or 2 minutes into 20 minutes.it was meant to be 20 minutes not 20 hours. Not like there's ever been a decimal point missed before.
However, 20 hours is 1200 minutes. If the duration was supposed to be 20 minutes, then to to get a 20 hour duration, they need to not only make a mistake with the decimal point, but also add 1000 minutes to the duration.
This is, of course, unless duration is noted in minutes instead of hours or seconds.
Edited to account for missing word. -

Not a great example, as the BAF is one of the ones everyone had to run without pets until they unlocked Lore and crafted pets.

I'm still hoping for Chainsaw Blast, if only for "Rain of Chainsaws."

Oh, broken invincibility... how I miss it. I remember hitting level 18 during a Synapse Task Force. I was so damn squishy, and then, suddenly, I was a god! (with endurance troubles, yes, but not awful. I went until level 30 before grabbing Stamina)

Code:My immediate problem with Arcanaville's build is that she slotted Titanium Coating six times. However, if you don't care about that, no worries.

Oh, and for Knock-out Blow, since you've got that six-slotted, I like
Crushing Impact: Dam/End, Dam/Rech, Acc/Dam/Rech, Acc/Dam/End, Dam/End/Rech
Mako's Bite: Acc/Dam/End/Rech
That gives 60% Accuracy, 100% Damage, 85% Recharge, and 85% Endurance Reduction. -
Okay, then go:
Titanium Coating: Res, Res/End, Res/End/Rech
Aegis: Res/End
That gives you 57.52% Resistance and 73.78% endurance reduction. -
Quote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYBrlFSuhIQI got one from Synapse, to Synapse.
Hey, if no one loves you, take matters into your own hands, right? -
Yes.
With three slots of Titanium Coating, Res, End/Res, and Rech/Res you'll get 54.16% Resistance and 26.5% Endurance Reduction instead of the 58.48% Resistance and 42.4% Endurance Reduction you'd get from 3 Res IOs and 1 End Red IO.
3 Titanium Coating gives Temporary Invulnerability 34.69% Resistance and an endurance cost of .21 end/sec.
4/1 gives Temporary Invulnerability 35.66% Resistance and an endurance cost of .18 end/sec.
Comparisons:
Active powers: RPD, REn, REL, Temporary Invulnerability, Unyielding.
3 Titanium Coating: 52.3% Smashing/Lethal, 23.4 Fire/Energy/Cold/Negative Energy/Toxic. End Cost: .41 end/second.
4/1 slotting: 53.2% Smashing/Lethal, 23.7% Fire/Energy/Cold/Negative Energy/ Toxic. End cost: .38 end/second -
It is not easy to get the botched ritual. I went in knowing nothing about the ritual other than what I had read from the mission text. I had to restart the ritual three times, but never encountered the debuff.
