Teamed with Melon Baller _very_ late last night and now at level 6
Having teamed with a Dark/Elec defender alot, I know that with ED Short Circuit typically requires two attacks to drain the end so I realise on a blaster its not going to be 'uber'.
Might mean having no endurance reductions or recharge reductions on certain powers I dunno but I do know the powers I want at any rate -

Well well then, nice timing since I've remade (3rd time) the blaster set I've always thought looked the 'coolest', Elec/Elec.
Only level 2 or 3 and would be built for maxium end drain at the expense of damage output combined with a bit of blapping since I'm unsure of Ball Lightnings appeal as either damage/end drain.
Battle Mechanoid awaits
If thats too low level, then I can be 'mini controller' with Sound Blaster or go the blapper route with my Alt Ranger, Miss Archer (er cept she hasn't got any punches yet).
One week a night would be good fun I think (or more if required). -

Have only reached level 17 with any of the dominators I've tried (Ice/Psi and focused on soft control over damage output) I'd say the 'best' way early on is a bit like this.
Open with Aoe hold/sleep/confuse
Single target hold the biggest threat in the mob
single target immob the next dangerous one (or most dangerous melee critter)
use the attacks on the minions (alot of Aoe/cone moves) building up the domination bar and once ready spam that Aoe immob for some reasonable damage
Apply Aoe sleep/confuse as needed untill all are a pile of bones.
At least thats the idea I have with mine (level 9) -
Whenever I play my Earth/Trick Arrow controller I just love it to bits with the amount of potential control I can get (enhancements are now a mess but nevermind
) compared to my Illusion/Forcefielder.
I even had the rare good fortune to team with another _two_ Earth controllers a good while back pre level 20, so we are out there but people are I think more drawn to Illusion and Fire for the pets/damage.
Only negatives with Earth I can see if the visability issues on indoor maps and the graphical lag that can come with that.
Oh and the insane amount of aggro that comes back at you -

Would agree with Okton on AM slotting, get the recharges in there as untill SO's the end recovery is very minimal.
Rad Aura I've typically taken at level 6 and for a long time had it at x3 heal and 1x rec red. Think I stuck the final slots around level 35. -
I think the decider for me to get Acrobatics was when I did Hess TF for first time and kept falling off the sides of the robot room (ouch and _very_ bad for me and team).
Playing characters without it (or Hover too I guess) I really notice the difference and wish I had it
I'm a fan of single target immobs, as you can stop runners, position foes better and helps when applying a hold to get it to 'stick' on certain targets. Oh and the AV factor can be a life saver. Don't forget that sometimes the ranged attack is preferable to the smack in the mush move
Should you pick the cloud, then slap x3 end red and at least x2 hold into it or its simply not worth it - adding tactics as discussed elsewhere makes it a whole lot better I'm noticing on a new test build for Radio. -
Unless you have something specific in mind, I'd make sure EF is in there by the time you reach level 14.
3 slot it with any endurance reduction TO/DO as its just too good to be left alone pre level 22.
Lingering Rad I tend to pickup after level 20 whenever I try new builds on Radio and thats with less blast powers that appeal with /Rad.
Acc Meta is best used as x3 rec red and x3 end mod.
I'd still stick an Acc on Explosive Arrow since its acc is lower than the others in the set just to be safe and for the moments when the toggles go down -
Go with Elec Epic and revel with Power Sink!
A single target immob (I found it usefull, many others disagree, the 'decent' armour due to its inclusion of energy, thunderous blast - a pretty deadly melee move and the already mentioned power sink.
Dark Consumption has a _very_ long recharge, even with x3 recharge reduction + hasten ect (6 mins base I think?).
But either Power or Dark? Power all the way ... -

Oh and if anyones around the level 13 mark, I wouldn't mind some company for Geiger Counter since he's got limited fire power but strong debuffing abilities -
