Getting a character one to fifty very quickly is not usually my cup of tea, but I can totally understand it. Also another thing I have seen a lot of people do.. is get a character to a high level, and slot them up with purples and good set bonuses. Then play the content through ouroboros. It's just more comfortable for them to have the enhancements in place. I know some people that won't even do the freedom phalanx tfs while "in level" for them. They want more slots in their powers! Just offering other possibilities. Basically my view is... it's your $15, play it how you want it

In a simple word, no. Some people posted their arc just so that people on Victory would know they had one, so that it would not be lost in a sea of 10 thousand other arcs. Some people wanted the praise or critique. Some people just want to learn HOW to make an arc. And some just want the tickets for the badges. If someone specifically asks for comments, then by all means, comment away, but I do not think that is what people were all looking for.

This entire thread makes me sad. Everyone is of course entitled to his or her own opinions and to state them publically if he/she chooses. However, I feel this thread is going to cause nothing but hard feelings for people who have put a lot of thought and effort into their work. Also, it is going to discourage people from playing certain arcs... oh it was only given a 2?!? I'll skip that one. I'd much rather see in depth critiques delivered to each person rather than in such a public way.

I'm sure other people feel this way, but I will probably be the only one to voice this. As a last thought, don't play my arc please, you won't like it.

Just to clarify, I am not leaving or going anywhere!!! I just got elected to 2nd chair of PERC so I am no longer Victory only. I still promise to help out with team Victory and run the events I can over here while fulfilling my cross server duties. The contest you are refering to was the Lethal Lottery in February. It was won by Artic Battle Cat and Painfully Helpfull. If neither of those characters is yours, then I am afraid you did not win and will not receive a prize. If one of those characters is yours, go ahead and send me a PM with your email address. I will talk to RAID (PvPEC's chair) and make sure you are awarded your prize. Thanks again for coming out.

I had a lot of fun last night. It's tough being one of the few squishies (blaster). Thanks again to PvPec for hosting this is a really helpful tool for new pvpers or pve-ers who are learning to pvp.

It was lots of fun Peril. This was a really good time for those of us who are not hardcore to come and have a good time, no pressure attached! I'd encourage everyone who defines themself as a "PvE-er only" to come by on Monday night and give it a try. I don't think you are going to find something this fun and low stress again.

Zomg! Lindow, you need to come so we can teach all the boys "the rules". *grins* And yes, I am willing to share them with you for your boys.

This was really fun. I only got to stay for the first round, but I really enjoyed it. It was my first time with the "kickball" approach. I look forward to more arena games and fights.
