Yes this entire event is about gladiators. I will also host one level 5 free for all and a level 50 free for all afterwards.

There is NO level requirement to this. You can be a level one, and as long as you have gladiators, you are in!!! Just make sure to earn some of them before hand (by getting different badges). Thanks DC for the very complete answer about night widows.

There's usually a good reason for this.

There's a difference between sending a tell to someone one who signed up/expressed interest in an event as a friendly reminder and sending everyone you can find the exact same tell announcing the event. The latter ranks right up there with Gagora emails, IMHO.

Less than 10% of the player base reads the forums. Each global channel only holds at max 2500 players... hence why we needed to make VB 2009. I don't think that there are only 2500 players on Victory. Anyways... my point is, they want to get people involved, it's a good thing. It's just one short message, which you do not need to respond to. Someone who does not know about an event cannot express interest in it.

Agreed with Masque and MP. As long as you only send one tell and as long as you do not expect a response, no harm, no foul. It's just not a big deal. I think it is good that you guys are working so diligently towards this. Also... what is someone is not on the global channels or not monitoring them? Or what if someone is solo in a mission and would not see broadcast but might like to come? I have not attended any events yet, but I appreciate the opportunity to.

There were also 5 submitted to me via email that you guys did not get to read. If one of those wins, I will request permission to publish it.

Really good fights out there! We had a couple of newbies show up which was awesome! I have now opened up the PVPEC vent for any fight nights. I think that being able to chat during and between matches helped the event. If anyone has anything they'd specifically like to see, please feel free to PM me.
