Quote:Cool thanks!/bind numpad0 "emote <color yellow><bgcolor black>text.$$cce 1 cclightning"
That would be the format to use. However, I'm not sure if the chat modifiers work with the emote command (no funky colored thought-bubbles).
/bind numpad0 "say <color yellow><bgcolor black>text.$$cce 1 cclightning"
The above should work and put [text] in whatever channel is currently the default. Say could be exchanged for local, broadcast or arena if you always wanted to say something in a certain channel.
The forum migration a few years ago messed up the formating some of this guide. I'll try and get back into the posts and correct the symbols that were eaten by the current forum software. -
Okay, I am assuming both of you are not suggesting I skip on fly. I didn't know hover and combat jumping stacked?
I will try and make my first full build on Mids. There are just soo many options. -
Quote:Agreed; it is worth the effort, time, and money for this to be done, and I am surprised it hasn't been done already 7 years into the game!Definitely would love to see this. I'd even go so far as to add a permanent left/right arm category in the costume creator for all characters so you can set them independently if you want.
I would also like to see left/right hand, too, so you can have a gauntlet or a glove on one hand and a regular other hand... or even a monstrous/zombie hand of power.
Things like the Spring Fling toga not allowing my blaster to keep his robot arm really limits costume options.
More costume selection options can only help the game and can help up that number of unique costumes possibly with the costume creator for the marketing team to flaunt. -
Hello I was wondering if I could get some help with this bind. I am trying to put colored text to a change costume bind. I got the text no problem, but I can't seem to figure out how to add the color as this is getting a bit complex to me.
/bind numpad0 "emote text.$$cce 1 cclightning"
I am looking for Yellow text with a black background.
Thanks -
Well I have this toon, my first toon, and I consider him my primary Hero. He is a Claw/SR and the concept has always been having the ability to fly. Considering I don't have the ability to buy transportation powers with out the prerequisites yet I am left in a bit of a pickle.
I play PvE and I was wondering if anyone have any build suggestions? I am also a big noob when it comes to IOs so help there would be great.
I have considered abandoning Strike. I have also found Air Superiority good in 1v1 PvE fights.
Thanks -

Maybe people have forgotten this was here? Could always use some support.

Just making a note, with our wishes for the most part coming true with the coming Beast Pack, I am retiring this thread with a big
SUCCESS! -
My personal high hopes are that the pack will be on test this Tuesday and will be live the following Tuesday.

Quote:I and 2nd that sentiment.I do not assume that anyone is a pervert. I was trying to say that people should not assume that others are perverts when they have anthropomorphic characters. That's it.
Personally, I'm quite happy about this pack and plan to use a variety of the pieces. And I don't plan on discriminating against anyone for their choice of costume. -
The game needs an animation up-date so on that grounds...

Well with the beast run power coming it is safe to say that the booster is comming, now the waiting game is just going to get to me as I have at least 3 of my toons that would be very interested in some new animal parts.
-
Quote:Goddess I hope so.Maybe there will be some new clawed beast hands in the animal booster?
From the pictures we've seen so far, they're doing heads, legs/feet and skin textures, so I think it's quite likely that there'll be some kind of new hand parts too, especially if they're going with the the idea of giving full outfits in each booster. -
Maybe they could make glowing eyes separate from auras? like a 2nd aura slot?
-
A Scythe would be a nice idea. Perhaps a pole-arm weapon set is in order, and I am sure the scythe could be worked in with generally the same animation.

Quote:Personally I always thought that would have made a good pre-req. A defense/debuff power. You teleport around the target/s at blinding speed causing disorientation and giving you the best points of attack. Now like combat jump you probably wouldn't be actually doing that visually, however cool and disorienting that would be for the user as well.Because Team Teleport is SO useful-
Oh, wait.
I'd rather have a combat teleportation power with a shorter range, MUCH shorter activation and animation time and mini-endurance cost that allowed us to do actual teleport fighting. But hey ho...
Example
1:35 for the perfect example -

The problem is that the game is greatly focused on appearances. You have something someone has spent a large amount of time building to look nice to see in action and so that others can see. Then they jump in as a stalker and all that work, (1/3 to 1/2) night as well have not been done. This just isn't good business. I am alright with keeping the settings as is, but just adding a no-fade power customization should not be that big a deal and drastically help the entire game out.
-
It has always been like that for me. Tried making a patriotic mech character specifically for that just to find I would never be able to make them the right color. They are alright if you are going with a dark color in the toon though, but never very practical over all.

I have to agree.
Also, the tech wings suck! the texture on them makes matching colors next to impossible.
