yes i went from 1-50 with ill emp and also did not take fitness, now at 50 looking to redo a bit and drop PPP, i find i almost never use them and hasten might go also one i almost never use

what I am wondering is why are there standard SOs in the merit vendors? why spend merits whichare so hard to get (other than tf) on something that you can buy at a store or WW/BM. one reason I can think is they are slowly going to phase out inf/imf as a way to stop RMT,

strange question why would you purchase with merits SOs?
as hard as they are to get why wasite them? my only thought is that they may be switching our "money" system in the game to merits only,which are non-tradable as a attempt to stop the Real money trades inthe game -
I did a Itf today and one of the other players summed it up he did not get and KICK out of getting the merits like he did a random roll. I felt he is right ,it is like the season we are in now, how manyof us like the unexpected of the present in front of us, as compared to getttign a gift certificate? true the present could be lame but the surprise was there

ok objective,I have just done the total TV arc with my lvl 50 stalker, at one point, I was awarded 4 merits, the first 4 ever for this char, later I got 2 more for some other missions from tv, so I go 6 whole merits for 2-3 hours of work, this was done on lowest setting,a dnd I ghosted as much as my stalker could(which I know is a no no ,but as a stalker if your mission is to take out X, you go to X and take them out with the min of colladeral damage,)if I was a brute, i would have done LARGE body count, now for the same amount of time I could have gotten 5-8X the amount of merits(itf or LG), and for this char merits are next to worthless as I have her enhanced out using min IO sets and a lot of hamis, that a extra recipe means little to me

im 51 and my reflexes are going down hill,pun intended, I do not even try the slopes,as for cost , yes it is a bit much for the io and such, the devs keep shooting them selfs in the foot, they setup a nice prize, give us a limited time to get, make the cost a bit high, then act surprised when we start farming

i like the new costs,as yo can see by my sig i am the only person in my sg/vg,i was able to "finish" my sg base with the lower costs,and my vg base is a lot farther on,but it was a shock to now have to pay rent, but i only pay 600 per so that is no proble ,1 itf at lvl 50 in sg mode pays that, i have not decorated my base much as I was only building functions like tps, almost wish there was a visitor mode, where we can open out bases to let other playees see but not touch our bases, it would be a good way to trade ideas.we could even have some kind of visitor counter and suggestin box for the visitors,as it now usally i am the only one who sees it

wheyn I first heard of these,i felt like it was a slap in the face to badge collectors, for almost 5 years you keep chanting risk vs reward, i can understand that, so where is the risk? I just collect patrol xp for a few toons and it is great to get the bonus, but not playing a toon and getting something for nothing dimmishes the worth of the badge, i had a toon that i was loged off for 168 days that when i logged in to play it was great to lvl really really quick( i will start a toon when the new at forst cones out ,"park it" til a good FAQ and lvl ing guide comes out,then follow that,for example started a sonic/PD corr,that may sit til 2x weekend

well i can take the merits or leave them, I think they should be optional not forced on us, even though they may be a bummer of a recipe at the end,at least you had the "excitment" of what you were getting, the recent farming of merits shows a bit of a problem with them, after so long of a time NOT getting what we want or can afford, I saw more excitement from people who were farming than in a LONG time.I have had to "create" a tw/three day mission rotation so I do not run into the diminishing returns. the low amount of merits for some arcs means I will be still skipping them, it is like we are dying of thirst and the arcs only give us swizzle sticks to drink through.for the record I am 2 days away from my 51 month badge so I have seen a lot on my home server.

Why does it seem like everywhere I go (game wise) the community relations guys end up leaving?
well it is a tough job, have to listen to our complaints,knowing a lot of things are in the works, but having to keep your mouth shut,.having to put spin on a bad problem, worse yet maybe having to lie to your customers(not saying he did ,jsut his type of job in general)dealing with egos and powerplays in the office( not saying he did ,jsut his type of job in general) -
I have been folloing the guide and it works great now up to lvl 42, have a re-build for when I can use hamis,any suggestions?

well i understand the push to get issue 13 out at some internal
predeturmined release date, but the question is 6 months from now will the players rememeber the release date of I13
or the broken parts of the event? -
wellhow abut a fix that is fast? just force all to be spirits for 1 day, should only take a table change,remove the pumpkins and say witchs and replace with spirits, unless I'm wrong n how its done, the same coudl be done for jack, just reverse the tables,and soon we will be up to our armpits in jack goo

the devs keep chanting the same manta every time they have adjusted down the xp for a certain monster or group "risk vs Reward",ok call me stupid I see the reward, where is the risk? other than not playing a toon and forgetting about it, i almost feel as they are setting us up for a big nerf, and then they can point back and say but we gave you tXXXX. and where is the fun value to NOT playing a toon?
and of course the smart players if they find a good spot for their day job/patrol that is NOT known to the players, they will not tell anyone as to keep it a secret. -
what this seems to me is a back door way to get us to play alts, like the "cool down" on xp that some of the other games,
have, but they lower your xp.i already have given up on PVP badging due to my limits, now I can look forward to NOT getthing these badges due to prefering to play withother players than read a book or watch tv while my char badges,so now you can earn xp while not being logged in due to the buddy system, and now badges due to not being logged in,my question is what do we get for NOT paying our monthly fee?

well changes to the PP dont effect me I never take them.a side problem is all the IO sets that will be needed and the ones that will be surplus due to changes,It will be funny if they remove fitness pool

well as the owner of a 1 person sg/vg, the gift was great, helped me with setting up the bases. if they do it again great, if not then thank you for the preivious ones,my heor base is 95% done, with 4 tps to 8 zones, generator,databases and mainframe, storage,and such only need a med room, then I can start puting the decoratins in, villian base just starting on tp rooms but have generator and mainframe
I am hoping that they will cut the costs on some items, for example super computer, over 1 mill for it and on villian side it only gives a tf bonus,as I will not be raiding ,a lot of control is not needed -
well as wonderful as this is, more and moe we need a offline MANUAL, look how much more complicated the last half dozen issue have made the game, while it is maybe ok to ue the other players asa resource and or 3nd party web sites that can be filled with misinformation, how about a official manual?
i'm sure all the software products that the DEVS use don't come with one page sheet saying here got o these users sites,or go to this party line and ask questons.
they dont even have to go and back do preivious issues ,just start with this one. I understand they have had a really really small work force til now. but that could be fixed. either by low wage interns or co-ops,after all isnt this pack selling,respec selling or in game advertising generating them money? -

well something i suggested is that instead of 1 random recipe at the end of a tf you get the choice of 1 of 4 recipes,i really dont like the idea of extra rewards for creators of popular misson, too easy to abuse, so now instead of getting spam selling us influnce, we will get some saying for the small sum of $19.95, we will give you x number of positive reviews for your misson

how about this for 29.95 you get to purchase the full set of IO,like for example posi blast at lvl 50, why spend lots of hours working for a set when a click of the mouse and a CC you can have every one of your char maxed out and really UBER?, or special powersets only obtainable witha 19.95 CC purchase
