    [/ QUOTE ]I'd say negative is more resisted (for vP, that is), since negative protection comes in same powers that give energy protection, which people want, while fire is teamed with cold and those powers are usually neglected.

    Afaik toggledrops dont work at all the same way on PvE mobs as they do on players.. They should, really, but changing it might cause big PvE balance problems.

    [/ QUOTE ]I don't think so, there aren't that many foes who REALLY benefit from toggles, and those who do can also be mezzed usually, which would drop the toggles as well.

    I'd go with you on the slotting priorities. Generally I've found Taunt pretty good without slots.
    Fire has a great advantage over other tanker secondaries for taunting. Given that most of the time you will be spamming Combustion/FSC rather than using your Single target attacks, you can be targetting enemies outside your Aura with taunt and protect your teammates from them.

    Fire is slightly higher damage, rad is more accurate and has DEF debuffs. Rad also has a very nice single target stun/hi-damage power. Both are AoE-biased. Choose whichever you want, they don't differ too much.

    [/ QUOTE ]Taunt effects don't stack, the lastest effect applied to a target is the one that will take effect. Also, as a related note, placate and taunt override each other.

    [/ QUOTE ]With hasten, I'd rather go 2 acc 3 hold 1 rech, especiall for char that has AM as well. The 2nd recharge just wont do nearly as much as the 3rd hold when hasten/AM is up.

    I don't see Taunt in any of the build you proposed so I hope you get a backup, taunting, proper tanker when trying AVs because they'll just ignore you if they're not taunted due to the last changes (unless you 3 slot all your attacks for taunt...) and they're likely to cause some big messes.

    This is not about Ice, it is about SS. Against AVs you are likely to be using Rage in order to gain extra damage. Especially in small teams.
    This means that every 2 minutes you lose 10 seconds of taunt time. CE has a tick time and taunt duration of 2-3 seconds, I don't know the duration of gauntlet for the various attack. This means that there is large enough window for a team wipe.
    Taunt has a good duration so if you taunt before Rage drops you have a good chance of not killing your team.

    And yes, power order is easy, slotting is the hard part.

  22. Give frozen armor 1 EndRdx.
    Scorch propably doesn't need recharge, it's fairly quick anyways.
    Don't bother taking taunt early, or at least don't prioritize it high in slotting, you won't need it with CE.
    Give Glacial aromr 1 EndRdx.
    Give EA 3 rech, then either DefBuff or EndMod, I prefer Def.
    Don't bother taking icicles with fire secondary, get breath of fire instead.
    Try to 6-slot your main big attacks, 1 EndRdx in them will be helpful.
