While actually insulting devs obviously shouldn't happen, I do think people have some right to be annoyed by the fact that we do receive less dev attention (disproportionately to the player amounts), even though we actually pay higher subs (no, we don't technically pay for dev comments, but that doesn't really make any difference in practice).

    Prior to the last patch, if you got an invite when starting to zone you would get a message 'unknown command' something or other and the invite would need to be reset. Now the game client crashes instead.

    [/ QUOTE ]It depends on what point in the loading process you're at when you get the invite. I've managed to consitently crash people with invites at least a year (more likely two or so) ago.

    And no, there's no way for you to get it anymore, contacts look at your security level rather than combat level, so exemplaring won't help.

    [/ QUOTE ]Defence, yes, but you'll never reach amounts where it'd be useful, especially not without spending a few hundred million inf on top-tier SIO's.

    Resistance? No powers that'd help with that, just some SIO's.
  11. Weave is a pointless waste of endurance if you don't have significant defences to stack it with (and as a fire armour scrapper, you never will). CJ is the same, really, but it's cheap to run and offers in-combat mobility, so can be taken for those (plus if you want SJ, it's a lot better pre-req than jump kick).

    Focus and Evis are must-have powers that you should take as soon as possible. Especially since you want a ST damage build.

    Consider somebody is already at 'Ultimate/Ultimate Improved Regeneration' or 'Ultimate Health' and they log out in a Hospital as a caregiver profession, they will get more regen/health? or will it be cancelled out as at the Cap?

    [/ QUOTE ]They'll get more until they hit the caps for those attributes, yes. Which isn't too hard for max HP, but is nearly impossible (without outside buffs) in the case of regen.

    Even at it's best, it's got a 2+ second cast time, it's not exactly the continuous DPS of a DB Scapper in blender-mode.

    Who said that heroes use metal bullets in their guns? Rubber bullets do not normally kill (unless they hit the wrong spot), but a normal thug would eventually pas out from the pain if hit by enough.

    And there aren't really any "normal thugs" in the game. Even skulls and hellions have some superpowers.

    The Warriors?

    Pretty much all highly trained thugs with weapons - their EB Heracles is the only one I can recall using any sort of power, and even that was just a single armour toggle courtesy of a stolen item.

    [/ QUOTE ]They're involved in a magic artifact smuggling ring with the hellions and the outcasts, making it likely that their members have make use of some as well. Their bracelets especially seem like they might well be enchanted.
