Well, seeing as I do do quite a bit of builds for other people, I usually ask for preference concerning travel power, stamina (if char wit other +END powers), and any powers the set might have that some players don't like (Taunt, ToF, Follow up, to name a few). I then try to build the best possible character within those set boundaries.

    Yeah it seems to have a couple of highish attacks and +5% acc on some attacks but its still outpowered by SS/EM/Fire/Stone.

    [/ QUOTE ]SS and EM perhaps, but fire? In ST damage? Highly doubt it, axe is still very nice damage, I'd estimate the 3rd best ST after SS and EM.

    [/ QUOTE ]Personally not a fan of acro, all villains I build nowdays either get SS (For hasten, and use temp powers for vertical travel), or fly (For air sup). But all travel choices work fine ^^

    Also, teaming with spport characters is good, and if you really want survivability you might want to pick up aid self.

    Ninjitsu? Regen?

    Ninjitsu is DEF based, which is good for a stalker, since if you don't get hit you'll re-hide easier.
  10. If one wants to play spines primary effectively, without needing to rely on support, regen is the best choice due to the extra endurance, and the very high survivability.
  11. You can take elemental or S/L shield off with certain foes, as well as mez one. Also, if incoming damage is low, OG and CoF are not needed, and neither is CoD.

    Personally i've found ice secondary to be excellent for blapping. It has so much control you are very safe in melee. More of a blaptroller, but both ice sword and frozen fists do decent damage.

  13. Wouldn't be putting ToHit's in invincibility, the boost is pretty small AFAIK. Might want to consider taunts there instead.

  16. Drop REl, REn and Hurl, pick up Aid other, Aid self and Invincibility (Get invincibility ASAP, it's your main defensive power)
  17. DC has looong recharge, stamina is still a must, unless you're regen.
  18. OK, tested with spines scrapper, so comparing to spines powers.

    Both do around the same damage (exploding is a bit higher), ½ of impale damage, 3/4 of lunge damage, slightly higher than throw spines or spine burst.
    Shurinken has base recharge of 3-4 seconds, exploding is around 30 secs.
    Both have same range, slightly lower than impale.

    Hasten was perma with 6 SO's, which was around 200% recharge buff. AFAIK, both siphon speed are either 20, or 25%, so combined with 3 RechRdx in hasten you'd need 4 or 5 siphons/speed boosts to make hasten perma.

    I'd say SB and 3 siphon speeds should bring it pretty close to perma, and 2*SB definitely should make it perma.

    Yeah justs grabs aggro with very little payback and with fire ball, fire breath, and fire sword circle you're not lacking in the AoE department, take fire sword instead.

    I thought Combustion was a melee version of fireball? My choice of power to lose would be fire breath as it is a cone so you will probably hit less mobs with fire breath than combustion.

    Although if I was to drop one, combustion would be the one to go.
