    Claws is more AoE, Katana is higher ST damage, and better surivvability (Due to the +def in Divine avalanche)

    Regen is really the best secondary survivability-wise (At least after few first levels), and you get quick recovery early, which means you dont need to take stamina for endurance management, and thus can get more useful powers early on.

    You can respec at L24+. All your powers can be changed (pools and primary/secondary), but you ant change your actual primary and secondary powersets.

    The primary effect of a hold is also to hold, and Power Boost boosts hold duration too. People just get mixed up because "secondary effect" is a term used about two completely separate things that sometimes overlap.

    The Nicti/Nictupodo will have the same power sets as the hero side Kheldians but have 0.75 of their damage and 0.75 of their def/res but luckily they'll have an inherent to even things up.

  8. With fire primary you rely on AoE damage. Thus, the 2n and 4th difficulties are best since they spawn extra foes. I'd recommend trying 2nd first, since it's same as 4th but one level lower, see how well you do, and then maybe raise it further.

  11. True. However, it could just be that there would be either two types of nictus with different powers, or nictus and 'evil peacebringers'. And they could have some powers different from their counterparts on hero side, while still sticking with the team. For example, you could remove all heal from peacebringers and give an energy shield ally buff, or something.
  12. Only thing that offers enough defensive poower for a blaster to justify taking it is aid self, the others aren't worth it.

    [/ QUOTE ]But since kheldians have access to a very wide array of abilities, it might just be that the playable villain characters will have some powers the playable hero characters don't, and vice versa. Kinda like fire melee brutes having cremate and tanks combustion, even though thematically they could use both.
  14. I was under the impression that a nictus could use either dark or bright nova/dwarf at will, as could a kheldian...Is that incorrect?

    Does rage give resistance to tohit debuffs?? I'm guessing you would be less effected by them, but I doubt you won't be affected by them at all.

    [/ QUOTE ]It doubles all secondary effects. So healing, mez duration, buffs, and such. It does not boost mez magnitude, only power that does that is domination.

    First of all, DO NOT take jump kick, it's a horrible power, take combat jumping instead. Also, you should try and get stamina (from fitness pool, need 2 other powers from the pool to get it) ASAP, preferably L20/22.
