    [/ QUOTE ]Just tested, duration is not affected, couldn't test magnitude since did not have an AV available and both bosses and EB's were made intangible even with unslotted black hole.

    On level 50 blaster, push is around 13, while thrust is around 16 KB, so push should still be decent if not quite as good.

    Of course, grounded is 15, so thrust does more than that while push (at least unslotted) doesn't do enough on it's own.
  7. Traps is decent, and only secondary with immob, so can use ignite well. Dark would be very nice, but it's kinda spammy so wouldn't take it with weapon set, same goes for most, apart from rad and maybe cold.

    Which would end up in this argument starting up all over again. If you remove the things that people are complaining about having to go to PvP Zones for, then you remove the problem.

    Obviously, keep things like the Shivans, Nukes, exploration badges. The former do relate to engaging in PvP in game-lore sense as you're taking things from the other side, just remove the Accolade requirements and the increased XP, and you've got no reason for PvE people to complain if they're in a PvP zone, as what's left will be strictly PvP related.

    Erm.... okay, I'm not going to counter that, because I don't know how to say it politely. I don't mind teaming, I don't mind doing Task Forces for accolade requirements, but I don't see how adding in PvP requirements on the heroes side for accolades would do anything other than cause a lot of fuss.

    Ah, but if a player who only PvE's (Hello there!) wants to build a villain with the same powers as their hero character, then they will be unable to do it without entering a PvP zone.

    [/ QUOTE ]They can't. They have a choice, they either complete the accolade, and enter a PvP zone to do that, or they choose to NOT get that accolade. Accolades are not required to complete any portion of the PvP game, last I checked.

    But if you choose to get the accolades on the hero side, then you don't have to enter a PvP zone. However, if you choose to get them on the villains side, then you have no choice.

    [/ QUOTE ]If you choose to get the badges for blue ink men or shivans on hero side, you need to enter PvP zones, but on villain side you do not.

    Entering PvP zones is ALWAYS by choice, and is NEVER required to complete the content outside of those zones.

    my advice on the empathy set get the powers when they are available, absorb pain isnt "essential" but its another heal (and a damm gd one), recall friend and hasten are "useful" powers but again not "essential" focus on your primary powers the heals and the buffs are what make an empath the rest just add to it

    Definately. Take the Empathy powers as soon as you possibly can. With the exception of Absorb Pain, that you can leave till later, or not at all.

    You want the badge, you HAVE to go in, regardless of whether you want to PvP or not. That's what you asked for.

    [/ QUOTE ]Yeah. But then again, "You want to PvP in the zones, you HAVE to go". Both are just as much a choice of the player, and if the player is not forced to go there to do PvP, they are not forced there to gain badges either.
