    I can see what you mean about repel. I find myself using it less and less as it doesn't fit with my tactics for an ideal confrontation. Where it's still a lifesaver on some occasions is if you are swarmed by unexpected enemies, and then just flicking it on solves all your problems.

    A fun power, but on a combo like mind/kin when most of your powers are awesome, there's just no room for it usually.

  3. It's a known issue, there's a command line fix for it, I'll dig it up in a sec.

    EDIT: Alter the CoH shortcut to read: ""C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\CohUpdater.eu.exe" -compatiblecursors 1" (Without the outer quotes, and adjusting file path if necessary. That should fix it)

    It also has Heat Loss for -Res, but neither HL nor Sleet are up that often, nor is Sleet particularly easy to catch people with.

    [/ QUOTE ]With 3 recharges and hasten, sleet should be up every 22 secs (Including the activation time). The summoned entity lasts for 15 seconds, so it's nearly perma then. Also, the resistance debuff lasts for 30 seconds, so if a foe is in the sleet for the whole duration, it'll be debuffed for 45 seconds, giving enough time to stack sleet three times, if my maths aren't totally wrong. So that'd be... 90% -res....

    Don't take presence, invoke panic sucks compared to fault.

    Invoke panic does have 10.43 second fear instead of fault's 9.536 second Stun. (Base numbers at L50). However, Panic has 60 second recharge compared to fault's 20 (That's right, fault can be perma), has double the END cost, applies fear which is inferior to stun, ANd doesn't have fault's 50% chance of affecting lieut's as well as minions.

    As for tremor, it's footstomp lite, lower damage but lower recharge and end cost as well.

  11. You should still be able to solo (some) AV's, just grab a shivan from bloody bay first.

    Besides, unless you're on invincible, AV's scale down to EB's nowdays.

  17. Any foe that's effected by CE should not attack anything else, unless the other player has applied a stronger taunt. From my own testing after the gauntlet fix, it works fine, apart for the fact that it nowdays ticks every 0.5 secs, instead of being instant.

    Your main use, especially in PvP will be the high amount of -spd, -res and -rech.

    Poison Gas arrow I haven't tried yet, am planning on taking it for the -DMG.

    Electric fences is there for oil slick, if you have an origin power that can light it you'll want something else propably.

    Well, the biggest difference is that more than 3 of the same enhancement type in one power are practically useless. So no more 5/6-slotting damage, perma-hasten, or 6-slotted stamina.

    [/ QUOTE ]Quite the contrary. Resistance resists resistance debuffs. So someone with 90% resistance will only have his resistance resisted by (10 * (1 - 0.9)) = 1% when hit with a 10% RES debuff. However, for a target with no/low resistances, resistance debuffs will be superior to damage buffs if the character is slotted for damage.
  24. The minor/moderate/whatever scaling should never be trusted. Just look up proper numbers from somewhere like NoFuture

    Dom Damage Buffs

    Domination is a 75% damage buff. It stacks with all other damage buffs and enhancements. So if you're, for example, 3 slotted for damage (Giving you around 95% boost), and have a +30% damage buff on you, with domination your damage will be (Base Damage) * (1 + 0.95 + 0.7 + 0.3)

    So slotting damage is still useful.
