The "Forumites" channel is generally fairly active. Also, since you're playing on defiant and seem to be interested in TF's and stuff, you might want to join the "Defiant Events" channel.

Well, I don't think I've even once been in a pre-organized TF where there hasn't been at least one person has not showing up. So your chances of getting in should be good

You can break mace and axe down together and find out just how much disorient you get to an end point from comparing. The /Axe tank has less survivability than the /Mace and so needs to be more damaging to gain survivability out of lesser fight duration.

Eh, I've always had plenty fun playing mace - Jawbreaker, Shatter and Crowd Control are three attacks I could definitely point to and say "These are fun attacks". Throw in the nice generic flourish of Whirling Mace and you've got plenty to keep you entertained (although you need to get to a reasonably high level to experience the majority of those attacks). The lower level attacks are pretty bland in terms of animation and effect but a powerset shouldn't be judged on just the first few attacks.

[/ QUOTE ]However, apart for clobber<->beheader, battle axe has identical powers (apart for different secondary effects in few attacks, better ones in axe IMO), and higher or identical damage in all but one attack, which is slightly lower. And it has beheader, which is another high power melee attack.

Even without being able to light it it's good. Also, if you tend to team there's propably going to be someone with energy/fire damage available most of the time, even if just through origin power.

And you could always take elec mastery, is what I'm planning with my natural TA/Psi.

Having now confirmed my schedule for today, I should be able to make it by noon BST. However, I may have to leave for a while during the TF, but that seems unlikely atm.

I might not be able to make it, depends on whether or not certain things will be happening tomorrow.

IIRC AV triangles are mag 100 protection, and 8 OG's would only give mag 16.

Even with the invention system, Co(H/V) is still very easy to get into compared to a standard MMO.
