I never played another type of Tank so I can`t comment. BUT if I`m up against, for just one example, COT, then however well i play, I`m just filling in the numbers because I can`t take too much damage and I can`t hit as hard as other damage dealers.

Then again, if I'm tanking for a large team, I usually have at least one support char to help me out. -

On the USA boards, the current cry is to drop the -5 debuff on unyeilding. Would that help us? Don`t know but we take 5% more damage than we should and 5% of a lot I guess builds up. Maybe that`s an answer.
[/ QUOTE ]-5% defense != 5% more damage taken. In some situations, it won't change incoming damage at all, but on the other extreme, it can increase it by 100%. -

Most sets have a weakness, invul tanks are nothing special. -

If you're primarily soloing then Claws is probably a better option. It has better soft control than Spines and a better selection of single target attacks which are essential for soloing.

Spines/Regen is the thing you want if you want both high AoE damage and good survivability. -

But my issue is that aid self is a pool power. Pool powers shouldn`t be decisive like that because, as with the case of the SR scrapper (maybe myself if I`m honest) you feel you have to take it to keep up. And I don`t think pool powers should do that.

If you want survivability, inv/Ice is a fairly solid combo. On the other hand, if you want damage, it's probably not

Aye, I emp'ed for the TF, so didn't have any problems with recluse tanking or anything. Started a bit later than normal, but the actual TF took pretty much the standard time.
