    In fairness, you could come at that from either POV. Blasters that take FA already will use it for the sleep. /Ice Blasters haven't been complaining about having no damage output (they still have a primary, and /Ice tends to be chosen for the "control") but they are likely to complain if you nerf any of their mitigation.

    And really, the (quite likely very few) blasters that self-stack AoE sleeps could still use FA first and sleep grenade afterwards. Although I suppose you couldn't stack FA and siren's song, but how many sonic/ice blasters are there?

    Also, a typical Blaster isn't exactly lacking in damage output (but could use more mitigation), but /Ice tanks could use some more.

    Of course, adding damage to tanker version would remove it's ability to be stacked, so I don't quite get their logic.

    And for pool/epic ST attacks it only affects the target, not the mobs close to them.

  11. You don't get 3, you only get 1, which uses the assault rifle model. And yes, it's customizable.
  12. Personally, I'm pretty bad with CM. If doing something where it's really needed I will be able to keep it perma on squishies (or tank if fighting GW on STF), but usually I just tend to forget about it unless someone asks for it.
  13. Absorb pain is an incredibly powerful heal. Regen aura properly slotted gives IH-level regen, and fort is a pretty nice defence buff.

    Those are youtr main survivability boosters in addition to the two main heals. But empathy really isn't all about healing, it's got strong buffs as well.

    [/ QUOTE ]Fire breath while jumping towards target area, then fireball and FSC. Those powers work brilliantly together, having to move around a bit really doesn't hurt that much.

    Rethinking it, total customization would make things a little odd. I'm in agreement that changing the colour of energy blasts and such would be fantastic, but Dark being turned pink and Fire green just doesn't make any sense.

    Can you use melee attacks without unsuppressed movement? Yes, but you will suck and you will die.

    Although I will probably 'spec for more unsupressed movement at some point, but the lack of it certainly isn't that big a disadvantage.

  23. The reason this wasn't added with wapon customization is that even though technically it's a "weapon", the tech required is different.

    All weapon customization allows is changing the static weapon model that your character uses. Ice/Fiore swords, stone mallets and such have no such models, they're particle effects just like, say, empathy heals or energy blasts. Thus, if we ever get to customize them it'll be when total power customization gets added, but that's loads of work and not going to happen any time soon, if ever.
