    Make damage break Crowd Control abilities (mezz, hold, sleep etc). Being able to just CC someone/something constantly while also doing damage to them makes you literally invincible.

    This is overpowered and no longer relevant to the games of today.

    Thats not the issue, if I try and run the copy it crashes to a debug panel. (If I copy then verify all files that's when I get errors.) The fault seems to be that the larger the copied amount of data the likelier there is to be an actual error, the game is now 2.3Gb plus and over a network I just get errors too often.

    If you want to do it another way, you could burn the game to a DVD-RW I guess, or use an external hard drive or USB storage.

    From the perspective of my mind controllers, sleep seems to override any other mezzed animation (maybe not fear can't remember), I doubt that any other sets change that.

    [/ QUOTE ]The animations don't have any particular order, a mob affected by several different mez types tends to show a random animation.

    Also, full set/AT respecs will not happen, and for a good reason. PL'ing and the lack of real death penalties already creates a number of 50's that don't know what they're doing. We really don't need any more of those.

    I think what I'd like to hear is that when the mob is under the effects of both fear and stun they would start by cowering in the 'fear position'. Then when attacked, they would 'become' stunned instead of returning fire.


    [/ QUOTE ]Yes. Fear prevents any normal action, while stun prevents any normal action apart for movement. As long as both are applied, the target can't move, but if the fear is broken, the target will still be stunned.

  18. You need to finish the contacts with yellow books (Proper Story arcs, red ones mean mini-arcs). And no, the story arc cap has always been in place, it's not an I12 thing.

    There are melee, ranged and AoE psi powers, and even a few non-positional ones. If you're hit with a ranged psi attack, the game will use either your ranged or psi defence value in the calculation, depending on which one's higher.

    [/ QUOTE ]You get different amounts of XP from mobs based on your level, therefore XP does scale based on your level. That doesn't mean the amount of foes you need to defeat to level won't increase, and neither should it mean that. Pretty much every level-based game ever increases the time needed between levels every level.
