I'd pick something with multiple skippable powers due to most of emapthy powers being very good.
Propably fire or ice, possibly earth. -
[ QUOTE ]
With ice as primairy it would be way easier, double hold is great control.
Nice would be:
hotfeet->snowstorm->blizzard (tripple slowed)
[/ QUOTE ]Snowstorm is controller/defender power, the blaster primary rain power is ice storm. -
Healing only affects the effectiviness of their healing powers (siphon life for undead), not their HP.

Etiainen - Level 22 Arch/Dev Blaster a la Union
[/ QUOTE ]Hmmm... "Etiäinen" but changed because of the engine not allowing ä perchance?
[/ QUOTE ]
yes and no, yes thats what it would have been if i could have copied it directly but im lazy, which i think shows from the fact that the name comes from the nearest CD to me at the time...(gotta love nightwish though, i have no idea if it means anything either
)
[/ QUOTE ]Heh, so not another finnish player then -
Newbie=New player
n00b=Idiot
Also, one wrong opower choice isn't that fatal in Co(H/V)
Anyways, on MM sets... Necro/Dark for best survivability, Robo/Dark for best (especially AoE) damage, anything else for just the consept. -

1.remember your a ranged AT dont be tempted to go toe to toe.
[/ QUOTE ]You're a damage AT. Blaster melee attacks do insanely high damage, so whenever you can safely do so (and your secondary so permits, ie. you're not /devices), use your melee attacks to devastate the enemy. -
It USED to be possible to give them resistance buff increasers, but it broke the UI as damage enhancers were seemingly increasing one stat and damage resistance enhancers reducing it, so they took away the +RES enahncements on pets and increased their resistance.
Not being able to slot resistance also led to them taking away the defence buff enhancers from ninjas and increasing their defence, to compensate. -

Question:
Stealth/Invis or Assault/Tactics?
[/ QUOTE ]Assault/Tactics, VERY good for PvP and also nice when fighting high-conning mobs. -
[ QUOTE ]
Flashfire, on the other hand, makes em do the drunk stagger-scatter. And it seems to be bugged a bit. Sometimes the stunned guys seem to move much quicker than they should.
[/ QUOTE ]IIRC that was supposed to be fixed.... Then again, it might not have made it to live servers yet... -

The point is, can you keep going and maintain high fury continuously without End reducers in your attacks?
[/ QUOTE ]1 ACC, 1/2 EndRdx, 0-1 RechRdx and 3 DMG, added in that order in all the attacks.
[/ QUOTE ]
How often do you stop a mission? How many attacks do you cycle, and how many of those attacks are fillers whilst you wait for your big guns to recharge? Can you happily run Hasten on top of that?
[/ QUOTE ]I don't stop, although I'll have to see if next toggle will change that. I cycle scorch, AS, cremate and incinerate, using BoF and FSC when appropriate. And yes, I run hasten on auto-fire with 3 recharge SO's. -
THREE EndRdx in integration? Ditch at least two, put the slots in ToF, that's a power worth 6-slotting.
-

i don't have a Sonic but i have a lvl 33 Fire/Fire Blaster. One tip i have to u is don't get to attached cause i just gave up with my Blaster cause i couldn't cope with SO MUCH DEBT!
[/ QUOTE ]Seriously, debt is a blessing, not a curse -

...with Radiant Infection > Fire Cages > Flashfire and then just run in with Hotfeet and start holding any stragglers.
[/ QUOTE ]
I've seen this kinda tactic been stated time and time again and it always baffles me??
Wouldn't u rather go : Flashfire > Fire Cages > Radiation Infection/Enervating Field ?
Maybe it's just me being silly but I prefer the mobs not to be able to shoot back at me when arresting them
[/ QUOTE ]RI debuffs their ToHit so they wont get that many shots at you before flashfire, and it also reduces their defence so when you use flashfire you wont miss them. -

OK i caved and took this power for my Brute. Is there a recomended way to slot to make the most of it?
Acc and Damage i'm guessing.
[/ QUOTE ]
Slotting for Damage on Brutes is a waste of a slot, seeing as the base values are so low - Slot Acc, EndRed and Recharge before you slot Damage. At level 36, my EM/Fire Brute has precisely 0 Damage enhancements - he builds up Fury quickly and stays there until "Mission Complete!" sprays across the screen.
[/ QUOTE ]Fury gives you... I'm not sure, either 250% or 350% damage boost when maxed, and brute damage cap is around 800%, those 100% you get from 3 damage enhancers are still useful even with full fury. -
Clockwork have lower knockback protection than normal foes, it's by design.
-
They already nerfed it from knockup to knockback in I6, if they add this too it wont have any PvE use anymore
-
[ QUOTE ]
Irradiate: I doubt that it's very good, but I'm no good on this stuff
[/ QUOTE ]It's the best -def attack in the game, and also AoE, so very nice. -

Make sure you slot Thunderstrike and Charged Brawl with Stuns; insanely useful at mob management. Not quite sure of the above suggestion of Havoc Punch, since it's Sleep as opposed to Stun, which to be honest, when you're constantly attacking, probably won't do much.
[/ QUOTE ]Charged brawl is sleep too, just used to accept stun enhancers.
Thunder strike has a stun on the main target, but not for the others which makes it not so useful, rather slot EndRdx in it. -
Ice/rad and ice/dark could propably be better, depends on situation though.
-
Out of those, propably Ice/kin
Oh, and rad is not really a team-set, not any more than those two at least. -
[ QUOTE ]
I would have thought lighting clap, well slotted, would have the advantage of being able to keep multiple enemies that would normally run away inside your ice strom and blizzard.
[/ QUOTE ]If it was only stun, yes, but being knockback it's hard to use without knocking people out yourself. -
IF you take blizzard, you should take ice storm too, to slow the enemies so they cant escape the area. I took frost breath, but it currently seems so weak that I'll be respeccing it out and bringing in ice storm and blizzard. Didn't bother with lightning field and lightning clap, although might respec lightning field in if I happen to make a PvP build at L50.

Yeah, seeing as it reports correct numbers for 99.9% of powers.
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh well dont believe me then, I am not fussed.
Feel free to 3 slot your MoG with Damage Resistance.
K
[/ QUOTE ]Oh, sorry, didn't mean that at all, I believe you, just that I usually dont check the planner's numbers from elsewhere as they usually are correct
