    One thing to remember, most of those repel and KB powers (especially Force Bubble) will make the least defender member of the team the biggest target. That would be you by the way

  4. SJ would be pretty solid choice, if you're tight on powers and can afford to sacrifice vertical movement capability SS would be good as well, seeing as it's pre-requisite is hasten which is VERY useful. I'd go for something along the lines of:

    Mind is the heaviest AoE damage dealer, and the 3rd best single target damage dealer, right after illu and grav.

    [/ QUOTE ]This is exactly what makes many FF users mere bubblebots.

    FF gets very useful repel and knockback powers that can in some situation be better than controlling ones. Also, the single target phase shift is very useful for isolating a hard foe until you can wipe out rest of the spawn.

    FF powers in order of usefulness:
    1. Dispersion Bubble
    Mez protection toggle for a squishy? Must have, plus it's PBAoE and farily decent END cost, making it absolutely great.

    2. Force Bolt
    Can keep single target off it's feet for endless amount of time, works on most bosses. Use this, one hold, this again and then other hold, boss held without it getting a single shot off.

    3. PFF
    Absolutely great for ghosting/escaping/getting rid of aggro in fights, also great for PvP.

    4. Force Bubble
    Huge AoE, keeps melee mobs away from the party, especially useful with a ranged party but has other uses as well.

    5. Insulation shield
    Better than deflection due to giving defence against the types that most tanks/scrappers have more trouble with.

    6. Deflection shield
    Do I need to explain this?

    7. Detention Field
    As I previously stated, great for holding that single big threat.

    8. Repulsion Bomb
    Shatters mobs, panic tool.

    9. Repulsion Field
    Force bubble works just as well as this in many situations, not worth it IMO.

    PvP Build

    The holds are same mag as controllers, and viable in PvP. Fearsome stare is very nice for PvP, as fear is not commonly protected against. The yoHit debuffs are still good, but not as good as in PvE, especially against blasters with aim+BU. You might consider that stun power from psi blast (name escapes me now) to drom acrobatics so your holds will get people with it better.

    The grav pet is very nice but otherwise the set really only has the basic controls - immob, hold, AOE immob, AOE hold.

  12. Every SG has a base, only thing you could do is deleting everything but the entrance room, then you should not get any rent.

    Even if you will get slight rent, it does not accumulate, so you'll just lose base access until you pay it.

    You could test it, open combat window, use dark regen. If it says "You healed <name> for <amount> points", it should count.
  14. You don't get bar for healing, the badge just appears when you hit the set amount.

    If you're purely PvE, fire is the one to take, fireball with containment is massively overpowered. If you're planning on PvP, either psi for the mez protection and some rarely resisted damage or primal for power boost.
  18. It's useful if you have something to immob/slow foes, and also good for making an escape... I wouldnt slot ACC as the base should be high enough, rather 3 damage and maybe some rechargers.
  19. Sleep is broken by things that affect HP, and knockback/down, so no, those powers will not break it.

    AS is fast animation (good for fury building), decent damage, and is a 100% chance knockdown, which makes it very good signle target control power.

    Fury is a passive power, which gives you the bigger damage boost the higher the bar is. It builds up by attacking, and getting attacked, and decreases rapidly, which is the reason brutes are usually rushing from group to group, trying to keep their fury up.
  22. Kin is better for end than empath, they get contant boost while empath only has stamina when RA is off, which is a big amount of time.

    Earth as a primary for "hard" control, followed by Ice (?). Gravity is a bit light at first on AoE control, but has the best pet for control (Singularity). TA adds even more control but is not the strongest secondary. Ice/storm is a good combo. Taking Primal helps a lot if you want to boost control.
