To be honest guys one of the ways around it would be to give minimal/no exp for killing a player who is not retaliating
[/ QUOTE ]You get no XP from PvP kills. -
[ QUOTE ]
If they don't fight back, they aren't taking part in PVP, hence it becomes the same as attacking an AFKer.
[/ QUOTE ]Yes they are, they're completing objectives in a PvP zone. Your argument is like saying I'm not participating in PvP if I capture a flag in WoW battlegrounds. -

If on part of the equation of player versus player, isn't competing then its not actually PvP.
[/ QUOTE ]The word versus simply means opposition, not necessarily mutual action.
[/ QUOTE ]
If the other person isn't playing then he does not equal a player?
So in effect you'd be PVAFKing
[/ QUOTE ]If they're standing there afk, then yes. If they're actually doing stuff, then hardly. -
[ QUOTE ]
So what your saying is that despite their being stuff in the zones designed for PVE game play
[/ QUOTE ]Your interpretation of the design is wrong. That content is there to enhance the PvP experience. -

I think the size limit is 80x80.
[/ QUOTE ]Images larger than that work, they'll just get resized by your browser, which doesn't usually look that pretty.
Although they have the upside that anyone can just look at the image link and see the image at the original size. -
Oh, that is just [censored]. One of the best looking costume pieces in the game and they give it only to those players who happen to either live in a convenient location or are able to afford travelling abroad to a convention.

ii) being allotted a story arc (i.e. the book icon) upon a referral
[/ QUOTE ]Just the story arc limit in general, really. CoH would be so much better off without it, in CoV it's not too bad though. -

Everythings Getting Hit With The Nerf Bat
[/ QUOTE ]What, when did this happen? Unless you're talking about I5/6
Oh, and EGHWITNB really doesn't sound like a smooth acronym. -
You'll need to host it somewhere. Either on your own webspace, or a free image hosting service like Imageshack. Once you've hosted it, you can link to it from your forum settings.

Did they pose as golden showers?
[/ QUOTE ]Did you really write that on purpose? -
[ QUOTE ]
In a symbolic way, yes - just like countries are usually thought of as being female.
[/ QUOTE ]They are? I usually just think of them as, you know, countries.
Besides, even with your logic, angels would then be thought of as males in a symbolic way, which would mean that they aren't in fact male, but genderless. -

The traditionalists are trying to negotiate peace with humans. They can be considered "blue side" rikti.
the reconstructonists want to continue the war, but at the same time are negotiating with Recluse, presuably out of a mutual desire to destroy Paragon's heroes. The can be considered "red side" rikti.
[/ QUOTE ]
Which makes no sense given:
"Traditionalists seek: Total rule of: Humans; Rikti; when: Home-Earth contacted"
Unless he was lying, of course.
[/ QUOTE ]He was, just read the rest of the arc. -

Barring a few missions that you have to hunt for, the only sure-fire way to get it is to visit a PvP zone like RV.
[/ QUOTE ]Or just enter someone else's portal.
Besides, accolades are hardly necessary. -

The Dev's put PvE content in the PvP zones
[/ QUOTE ]The content in PvP zones is PvP content. -
[ QUOTE ]
On that subject, one thing that can go in there are the changes made to PVE to "balance PVP". Why? It's possible to have a different set of effects of a power when it's against a player or "critter", so why not just change that attribute of it?
[/ QUOTE ]They usually do just that. However, that method is only usable in offensive powers. -

Angels = male (male names, and called the Sons of God)
[/ QUOTE ]Because the angels adopted those names from human males, rather than the other way around, right?
[/ QUOTE ]
Either way, they're still male - male angels give their names to human men, or human men give their names to male angels.
[/ QUOTE ]Yeah, and if we name a ship after a woman that ship will be female, eh? -

There are third party programs for creating macros for powers, movement etc. There's also a program that lets you map everything within a certain distance of you by creating a demo file, although you'd need a fairly interesting setup to efficiently take use of that.
Well, actually, all it'd take would be dual-monitors and some of those already-mentioned 3rd party macros.
[/ QUOTE ]
Like I said then....there are no 3rd party targeting programs then! Clear?
[/ QUOTE ]The original post said nothing about targeting. -

Your logic is so bizarre it hurts. -

You cannot simultaneously prevent and prepare for war.

[/ QUOTE ]
Actually, I think it's the other way around - if you don't have an army that's prepared for war, then that makes it more likely you'll be attacked
[/ QUOTE ]If you don't have an army, you'll simply be conquered, there will be no war. -
[ QUOTE ]
Why not have all contacts callable after say, 3-5 missions?
[/ QUOTE ]They are that, nowdays. Personally, I'd prefer it if contacts gave you their number the first time you visit them. -

Confirmed as:
Raid Rikti are Traditionalists.
Friendly Rikti are Restructurists.
(Info from Vanguard and Midnighters rescue Rikti missions.)
[/ QUOTE ]Isn't it the other way around? Traditionalists wish to rebuild the traditional rikti society, which is peaceful, while restructurists seek to build a new society with the lineage of war at the top. -

Well, in Matthew 12, Jesus refers to Satan as "he"
[/ QUOTE ]You might want to read the bible in a language that doesn't have gender-specific versions of he/she then -

With CoV being the only sort of "expansion" to get, and that was also being marketed as a stand alone game.
Meanwhile, EverQuest 2 is on it's 4th expansion payed for expansion.
[/ QUOTE ]I really doubt most CoH players want the game to adopt the EQ business model.
