    Just realised i was talking about mind probe in my above post not mental blast, i never got mental blast and looks like i made the right choice.

    Can someone explain how drain psyche works? only vary rarely does the icon pop up showing its working, the rest of the time i just get a pretty animation and nothing happens, i thought it was alwasy missing or something but i dont get the miss text.

    I've used Thunderclap alot on my lvl 50 earth/storm because it works extremely well with stalagmites in the earth set hitting the ones stalag missed and have NEVER once missed with it.

    Just slot 1 recharge or a end-red in it.. The base stats are already topnotch, though i tried to see if a lvl51 AV was able to hit me with PFF/FoN/TI on.. But since you are running on kinda cap resist/def all, not much

    One main thing worth considering if you haven't already chosen an epic is the def and res figures for the shields. The figures unslotted according to my planner are:

    Fire Shield: 30% res Smash/Lethal and Fire, 10% res Cold
    Charged Armor: 19.25% res Smash/Lethal, 14.5% res Energy
    Temp Invul: 22% res Smash/Lethal
    Frozen Armor: 20% def Smash/Lethal, 20% res Cold
    Body Armor: 11% res Smash/Lethal

    According to SherkSilvers planner:
    Frozen Armor: 13.6% def Smash/Lethal, 20% res Cold
    Charged Armor: 19.25% res Smash/Lethal, 14.0% res Energy
    Fire Shield: 19% res Smash/Lethal, 14% res Fire, 7% res Cold
    Temp Invul: 20% res Smash/Lethal
    Body Armor: 8% res Smash/Lethal (Auto power)

    This would mean that elec one is the best, as energy is the third most common damage type.

It's because people know if you ignore the MM, his pets can give you a "go-to-hospital-free-card". The MM itself is the weakest link in his whole pet army, if the MM falls, the pets fall, thats why they are aimed for first.

    Don't think the Grav one has a -knockback/up/down either. All the others do. I always move the Fire Cages button out of the way if I've an Ice or Earth Controller on the team too, so my random keyboard mashings don't set it off.

    [/ QUOTE ]Yes, it is both, it has three AoE's, largest one is the debuff, medium one is repel, and smallest one is knockback.

    IIRC /EA stalkers have both repel and knockback protection.

  16. The status effect symbol on affected foes is added to the power differently from the debuff, so you can have powers that have animation but don't debuff, or vice versa. It's just the way the power system is (badly, IMO) designed.

    Those were just my observations of playing all three at low levels, although it has been a while and mind might be better than I remeber...

    But anyways, mind is still the best for AoE's, and if it's the best single target damage too, all the better

    Also, I wasn't counting pets, just the powers available to the controller, as pets are unreliable.
