[/ QUOTE ]Well, seeing as my necro/dark has soloed 99% of the game without any ToHit debuffs (no darkest night, didn't feel the need for it), I think the combo will still be viable

They're, you know, spirit sharks. Mako teaches you to summon them, end of story

Necro/Dark is the best MM for survivability, the debuffs from dark, and the control it provides, as well as the debuff and controls of the pets make it very powerful combo. Also, it gets the most summons possible, 8 in total (9 if you have enough recharge buffs on you to get two ghosts out at once).
It is also the most active secondary, which makes it good if you want to do something yourself as well instead of just letting your henches do everything. -
It's only small def debuff, easily countered by invincible and/or tough hide.

Stalkers have 20% chance of crit'ting an enemy that's either held or slept, doesn't work on any other mezzes though.

The fact that there's absolutely no variety between the types of powers in the sets is certainly not nice...
Oh well, one more hold is nice, gives me very good control capability, My zombies lack AoE's so Nightfall will be nice as well, and I'll be able to propably cap my negative resistance with the shield and shadow fall. -

For a PvE controller, fire epic is the only thing to even consider, fireball with containment is so good it's not even funny, the blast is great, shield is decent, and consume is good or great depending on your secondary.

It isn't, really, the animations can take a while, and supression is initiated at start of the animation, not the end of it.

Well, if you want to make FF/NRG interesting, the only way to go is to learn to love knockback IMO.

[/ QUOTE ]I dunno about light on damage, it's not the best out there but the extra containment TA provides would increase the usefulness of terrify, which is already a great damage powers (for a controller at least).
