Steamy mist gives nice resistance boost and thus is better defensively, group invis is better for ghosting.
-
AFAIK you can use it flying, as long as you are close to the ground.
-
And yet, somehow, all the n00b teams keep saying "we need a healer", not "we need a defender"
-
Why would we WANT to make empaths any more wanted?
-
You have to visit lt. wincott in the hollows, but after talking to him once you can leave and never come back, don't have to take mishes or anything.

I wanted to turn around and say "you're a corrupter you're supposed to be the healer" which is too much of a gross over simplification.
[/ QUOTE ]THERE ARE NO HEALERS IN THIS GAME!!!
Thank you for listening -
You're a controller/debuffer, not a healer
If you really have to heal someone, take O2, but for pete's sake do not take the med pool. Hurricane is AWESOME mob placement tool and ToHit debuff after you learn to control it. Spectral terror is the best group control you'll get, definitely pick it up.
-
If you want a scrapper that's both very visible and awesome, go with spines/regen
Spines is the primary with most AoE's (Area of effect attacks), and regen has great survivability. At high levels, a spines/regen can "arrest" whole spawns fairly quickly.
-
Scrappers tend to be the most soloable AT, and especially /regen ones have very little downtime.

I've fixed the "About Ben" page (Max...you know which one I mean.)

Powers you don't absolutely need: Wormhole
[/ QUOTE ]Get it, 6-slot it, love it. -
That build is made with both teamplay and soloability in mind, and designed to use CE as the main aggro management tool. If you want more team-focused build, you should propably move taunt in earlier.
-
Katana=Highest survivability, cheap and fast attacks.
-
Not enough slots in slots in DP and Recon, both need 3/3 rech/heal, take the slots out of FH for start.
-
It's a damn great power but it does take learning to use well, about same level as hurricane. The end cost should be OK for a kin. It is auto-hit, and works the way you described. Also, it holds lt's and minions, but you need another hold to stack for bosses. It's best slotted with 3 EndRdx, and possibly 1 or 2 RechRdx.
-
Hover alone is good for positional and moving between enemies, Hover+TP works for moving between groups.

Isnt the job 'keep squishy alive' alive the job of a healer (in any form)?
[/ QUOTE ]No, it's the job of the said squishy. -
Blaster nukes have long recharge too, they're still nice

I meant that the ones who don't use their secondary are the bad ones

Thanks for the insult then, MaX.
I honestly don't think this debate needs to be had in yet another thread though - it's getting really old.
[/ QUOTE ]You telling me the purpose of forums isn't recycling old debates every few months? -
Do NOT take weave, it's worthless. Tough... I have it and like it, although you might want to get resiliƩnce to go with it.

Yea.. but the guy had a really novelty like name like he just made it 5 minutes ago. The kinda name that would get genericised within a week.
[/ QUOTE ]They don't get generic'd if they aren't played and somebody reports them, and obviously that guy hadn't played it much -

It may take some getting used to for people who've always played with Stamina, but Empaths do fine without it - especially those who rarely or never use attacks.
[/ QUOTE ]In other words, the bad ones
[/ QUOTE ]
You can do without Stamina if you know what you're doing, actually. I personally find that it's only the 'bad ones' that say that you need it.

Obviously, I think a lot of this will be done solo or with an extremely understanding team, I don't want to hold back any people and cause them debt etc.
[/ QUOTE ]Welcome to team with my thugs MM, I like debt
