3. I'm trying to decide on my build, and right now from my main sets the powers I don't think I'll get are Taunt, one of the first powers on the Elec set, Temp' Protection, and perhaps Lightning Clap (not too sure about this one). Now, about Rise of the Phoenix... Should I get it? I guess it could be useful, but that depends on how many times I expect to die, and PvP isn't the main attraction for me in this game. I plan to get 6 powers from the common pools, and 2-3 powers from the Mu Mastery (Elec' Fences and either Mu Lightning or Ball Lightning). If I don't get Rise of the Phoenix or Lightning Clap, then I can get all three non-pet Mu powers.

CJ has pitiful amount of defence, it stacking with anything is not noticeable... Fire is the best PvE epic, unless you want more control, in which case primal is best.

Blind invites do happen, but are considered bad etiquette by most experienced players, especially blind SG invites. If somebody is sending you repeated blind invites, first send them a tell asking to stop, and if that doesn't work, /petition them for harassment, /ignore them, and move on.

[/ QUOTE ]You might want to download a Character Planner, and create builds for your characters, which you can post at the archetype boards. This way more experienced players can give insight to your build, helping you make your characters stronger, avoiding bad powers, and need for respecifications (which you only get a limited amount of).

Super groups: I've been invited into a bunch of these, but I refuse to accept any 'blind invites' and wonder if there exist 'older', laid back veteran kind of SG's who can answer a wide range of questions, have groups in several level ranges and are involved in the whole game, that is pve/pvp, badges, funny events, exploration(if that exist) and so on. I've read the 'guild listing' but havent really met anyone from those guilds so I don't know alot of people.

Defiant has 1 AT SG's for every hero AT but khelds, and union has 1 AT SG's for all hero AT's, and I think at least some of the villain ones.

The base recharge is 360, duration 90. With 3 SO's, hasten and triple stacked siphon speed the recharge is about 110 secs.

If you'll keep med pool, get aid other instead of stimulant, it'll be way more useful. (Both will break sleep, and dispersion protects against everything else).

Pretty much agree, munitions would be best concept-wise and no weapon redraws, the second best (very little redraws due to no attacks in the set) would be Force.

Confuse wants more confdur.
Mass hypno could use one sleep.
TK could use one recharge.
Drop third acc in terrify, give it a rech.
Propably drop one EndRdx in Dispersion.
Detention field has inheret acc bonus, and is perma with 2 rech, get other slots outta there.
Drop one Acc (or two) in MC for ConfDur.
Power Boost wont need EndRdx I'd say.
Don't bother with more than 1 rech in recusitate -

[/ QUOTE ]No, I definitely don't, and I've done AV's and GM's solo, duo, and in teams, all without tanks or empaths. I'll take a kin, dark or storm rather than an empath 99% of the time. -
Pretty much yeah, especially if you throw in debuffs as well. Personally, I'd go for something like:
2 /Kins, 1 /Sonic, 1 /thermal, 1 /Cold, 1 /dark and 2 /rad, with varying primaries. -
It reduces their power costs at least, not sure of the cost of summon.

repulsion field is autohit, so it won't matter if you have a million defense points. It will still hit.
[/ QUOTE ]Are you guys confusing it with force bubble? AFAIK Repulsion is a PBAoE knockback toggle with ToHit check, and the Auto-hit repel one is force bubble, which blasters can't get. -

[/ QUOTE ]Fearsome stare aggroes little, and as long as you don't hit a feared target, they'll just cower without attacking you. It's also fairly nice ToHit Debuff. -
