    However, combat jumping only offers 2.5% DEF, so it's not noticeable unless you have lots of other def powers.

    It works great as a panic buttin, and I would take it with my MM if I could spare the slot. One thing to note is that intangibility enhancements do not boost the duration of the power, but rather the magnitude.
  4. I'd say you'll want 2 acc 2 rech 2 stun or 1 acc 3 stun 2 rech in wormhole, since it's your only soft control power...
  5. Regen is the best defensive set (well, DA is on paper, but in practise it isn't without heavy support), as well as having QR which means you don't run out of endurance easily, which makes it good offensively as well.

  7. Keep in mind that while empathy seems like healing, in the high levels and with good teams you end up being a boring buffbot most the time, as there is no need for heals.

  9. Do NOT slot it for damage, it does less than brawl. Give it 1/2 Acc, and 0/1 rech, it's good power to keep bosses/lt's out of play.

  11. Ice is best defensively apart for granite stone, and granite has heavy penalties on the offensive front. So I'd definitely go with ice.
  12. Defenders have to take mental blast though, while doms get an attack that's at least sometimes useful... Also, I'd say the last power is better for doms than defenders...

    Def's get some good powers earlier, but doms beat them in the end.
  13. You're labeling mental blast as a GOOD attack, while saying mind probe is rubbish? Can I have some of that stuff you're smoking please?
  14. Storm works very well with grav, but some of the powers take practise to use effectively.

    I'd say Thermal's primary function is to heal. They don't really get any solid way of mitigating incoming damage. They just reduce how much damage someone can take (by 31.2%), which isn't enough to stop someone needing their HP replenished imo.

    9 More powers from primary, most offensive, none heals.

    I really wouldn't class them as a primary function healer with those powers.

  20. Nope, but that will bring me maybe to same strength than grav dom with GD, and when you give the dom sing (15 levels earlier than I get the PPP hold, I might add ), the dom still comes out on top. Plus, you can stack GDF with GD when you have it available and have to hold a boss quickly.

    [/ QUOTE ]It's shorter duration than GD AFAIK. I know a dominator can hold a single target way better than MM, I can barely keep one application of PG perma slotted with 3 hold and 2 rech. I need henches to get a boss held.

    Of course, the GD figure semi-doubles with singularity, if you can get it in place, but I believe grav with sing is the only Dominator that can stack two holds, correct me if I'm wrong.

    Also, BFR has a HUGE animation time which severely limits it's usefulness as anything other than an alpha.
