No ice sword circle? It's getting the animation delay removed in few patches time...
-
It doesn't have accuracy debuff, no power in the game does. It DOES, however, have a ToHit debuff. No idea how strong though.
-
That depends. If your secondary has no self damage buffs, and you don't find yourself dying a lot, soul drain would be my pick, especially if you focus on AoE damage.

and some mez protection
[/ QUOTE ]Resistance, not protection.
Personally, even though AM is nice, RI should definitely be taken ASAP, and AM can be taken later. -
It used to do that when I7 was on test, and was awful. I truly hope it's a bug and not WAI.
-
It's a known issue with pet AI, no idea if/when it'll be fixed.

Thugs/Dark for ST damage.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm not at that stage yet, but looking at the powers thugs get with the final upgrade, it seems like they're AE monsters at high levels...
[/ QUOTE ]Not as much as robots still though, at least from what I've seen. -
I'd propably drop medicine pool powers to later, and take health, stamina and SS earlier.

IIRC AS gives slightly more damage than haymaker, although it's been a while since I played my SS brute.
[/ QUOTE ]
Air Superiority does the same damage as Punch (BI 2.7778)
[/ QUOTE ]So it does, just tested, my bd memory mixed punch and haymaker -
Necro/Dark for survival.
Robo/Dark for AoE damage.
Thugs/Dark for ST damage. -
I'd drop lightning clap and take confuse, this would also free a few slots, that could be put in mass confuse (ConfDur), Steamy mist (DamRes), and Hasten (Rech).
-
Slot parry more, it wants 3 defbuff and 1 damage/recharge. I suggest you get the slots out of swift and helth.
Aid self doesn't need that much IndRdx IMO, I'd swap one or two for end/recharge.
All in all, pretty solid build, although you might want to pick one more attack. -

Well when are you going to figure it out, then? You'd think that the US players would have figured it out already..
[/ QUOTE ]The thing is, as soon as somebody finds a tactic that works, people tend to stop experimenting and use that one. AFAIK the US have been through multiple different tactics, since each one they've used has been made unusable by 'adjustments' at some point. -
Get that one extra slot out of flares and put it in brawl...or some other power that's more useful than flares, ie. all of them. EndRdx in fire cages would be my pick.
Also take the 4th damage out of imps and put it somewhere useful. (fire cages comes to mind again).
Oh, and recharge is better than KBDist in bonfire. -

Haymaker and Hurl does equal amounts of damage and are rated as"High" dmg attacks whereas Air Superiority is only "Moderate".
For Brutes it would probably be best to have Air Superiority (quick animation time and reasonably lower endurance cost to the latter) rather than Hurl to keep your Rage bar up.
[/ QUOTE ]The low-moderate-high stuff is very inconsistent and unreliable though.
And it's the fury bar, you should know that rage is a SS power -

Raid was called off. Stupid PA changes meant we couldn't actually get anyone into the bubble.
If I decide I can be bothered to do another one, I'll post the date in the future.
[/ QUOTE ]
Thanks for attempting in the first place, I feel sorry for the whole community for some change or bug like this to destroy everything. It cant really be working as intended?
[/ QUOTE ]Well, the tactic we use is not how the devs intended the raid to work, AFAIK that strategy hasn't been figured out yet. -

- Confuse is fine in PvE with 2 accuracies (maybe 1 confdur, but not more)
[/ QUOTE ]3 confdur enables using it effectively on multiple targets, as well as affecting AV's. -
Yeah, he spawns as often as the others, it randomly picks one or two guys to spawn.
-
3 recharges in dominate with hasten and AM? Surely more hold duration would be more effective?
Would propably drop one or two EndRdx from RI in favor of DefDebuff -

do i even need to say im going to be there.... :P also i came up with this... Detention Shield will still work... so if people with that can run it on perma he cant even attack
[/ QUOTE ]
That seems rather counter-productive as captured foes can't be attacked either.
[/ QUOTE ]
That, and the fact that I doubt it actually works. If it did, why would anyone need a Hami tank for the mito clearing? You could just have an FFer or a Sonic/ perma caging him whilst everyone else cleared mitos.
[/ QUOTE ]It wouldn't work, it works on AV's, but not GM's, and hammy has much higher mag protection than a GM. You'd need multiple ones to hold hammy, and stacking them would be very hard since after he's affected, no more powers will affect him until the intangibility wears off. -

maybe after the regen nerf.
[/ QUOTE ]Easily, we were already quite close to overcoming the quarry's regen at times -
CJ gives a defence boost, which will counter some of UY's debuff. This is a good thing. CJ is very low cost toggle, while jump kick is a hugely poor attack. CJ wins over jump kick.

If I'm not too bored with the crappy I7 performance, can join in the AV thursday, as well as the synapse TF
Also, scirocco definitely wields a scimitar, not a katana.
-
Positron is the easiest to solo, it doesn't have an AV
Also, you'll still have to fight the AV 10 times in the croatoa one (AFAIK), so it's not exactly soloing if you do the first mish with team. -

But soul drain on 16 mobs gives 240% (IIRC) extra damage, its worth the wait
[/ QUOTE ]Not for PvP
