A lot of the swords Broadsword and Dual Blades get would be wonderful additions to Katana/Ninja Blade's repertoir. My own personal most-wanted feature for CoH is to be able to use the "Longsword" model with Katana. I'm kind of obsessed with it... It is to me as animated hair is to GG.
Unfortunately, for most of the models the handle is indeed too short to accommodate the two-handed grip of Katana. Still, I yearn for the day when some kind dev will take some time out to lengthen the handles and make available these fine weapon models for us two-handers.
On a completely unrelated note, check muh post count. It's not the amount, it's the number.
Oh and I agree, that sword would look cool for a Katana. -

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, any updates on how we can get those pre order goodies or something similar...to make the EU and US on the same level again? (although you could argue they weren't to begin with but let's not go into that)

A story in a video game means everything to me. It doesn't have to be a good story but it has to be engaging. And if the gameplay and graphics complete that than I'm sold.
It bothers me greatly that many gamers are saying: "if you want a story, go read a book or watch a movie". It also is the main reason why I am not a big fan of multiplayer games(except MMO's). Because often the singleplayer(and the story) take a backseat to get multiplayer done right.
That's why I fear for the new Assassin's Creed(Brotherhood) and why I haven't even played Modern Warfare 1 or 2.
Anyway, this is more a singleplayer vs multiplayer rant and not one about stories.
I do think that story wise games could get better but telling a story in a game is different then it is for a movie or book. Gamers expect at least 8 till 10 hours of game so lots of padding has to be done to fill that gap. -
Meh, I would have liked to see some of the new things from the mutation booster but as it's the test server(which I consider an extra) I'm not that bugged that we can't access it for now.
Of course, the message when trying to access the thing could have been somewhat clearer. -
Best idea ever...can't we put it with the 45th month award...just got that :P

Problem of course being that even if this was the best game ever made, without people knowing about it it won't sell. Which is pretty much why I would have loved to have a box over here to have a presence in shops. I will always say: Good work after each mission and when I think that the tanking or buffing or healing or debuffing(hope I don't forget something) is specifically good I'll make sure to say something about that too. I always thank people if they saved my butt in the nick of time or make sure that I can go on even if I am defeated(aka revive me or give me an awaken). But thanking for an individual buff like speed boost every time it's given?
No...which doesn't mean I don't appreciate a SB but with powers and buffs flying all around I'll be thanking everyone all the time and not fighting which kinda negates the point of having a buff active.(yes, highly exaggerated I know).
Speed boost is the main reason why I don't play a /kin though. I also never ask for it and certainly not in terms like: SB Plz....all the time...even when they already have it... -
I have lots of lots to do before I even consider this game beaten. I have never done a hamidon raid. Never a abandoned sewer thing. Haven't even done all the taskforces including the Statesman one.
I only have two 50's (one hero, one villain). I only did one mothership raid ever. And I know I'm forgetting a whole other lot of things I still have to do.
I would consider it beating if I had one character who has all the task force badges, explorer badges and probably day job badges. Not that I am really trying to get them in a hurry either.

It's a cool video. Especially with the dev's in it. Feels really professional. I also hope that the animation for super jump is more than just done for this video. But we'll see.

Just want to say that in my opinion no, the devs don't need to implement a first 50 reward.
Getting to 50 was reward enough for me and I had a great trip going there. Sometimes I wish I could do it again...(getting a first 50...not getting to 50...that is not really a goal anymore).
