All i ever seem to meet are usually fun/random people just having a good time. Was just pvpin casually in RV for roughly 2 hours and well not one bad word was said throughout it all, some people even said sorry!

Sadly with every community there will always be people who think they are "the law" or above everybody else, take them head on i say and win

I have the same feeling when reading this. I (almost) never meet these people. I'm sure they exist, along with the iron man/spider-man/wolverine clones but I seem to miss them most of the time.

I agree though that the AE building should be removed from the starting zones though.

If you make it optional, who would opt in? There's no benifit to opting in, so why would you? Either make it so you got no choice or make some pretty big incentive for opting in.

The same reason why people choose not to earn xp, to experience specific content. Or because some people want to get debt badges or something.

Okay, about two months ago my Windows XP computer crashed so I got a new system this time with Windows Vista. Ever since then when I play City of Heroes I regularly have that when in game my screen becomes some sort of still image of the where I was a few seconds ago. I can "fix" this with alt tab by going back to the game screen again.

The most odd thing about it is is that it is completely random when I click something on screen except when I try to alter the graphic settings, every alteration I make gives me an old "screenshot".

I use the same graphic card as I used in my old machine which is an ATI Radeon 4850 HD.

If you need more system specs, just ask but I think it's graphic related. Oh, and it's only with City of Heroes I have this weird graphic bug, other games and programs work as intended.

While I know trailers are deceptive(not going to tvtropes for the link, otherwise I won't be able to get away from my computer for the rest of the day ) I just can't not be happy that something like this is announced. I'll worry about what the expansion will contain later.

Whether or not this announcement came out now and for what reason I don't really care, it keeps me interested in the game for now.

The trailer shows to little to really speculate and the announcement does not give much information really except that it will contain a feature many people asked for. I don't really see the reason to be negative because we don't know what other things will be in it.

Been thoroughly enjoying a new Stone/Kin Controller (pacted with a Stone/Stone Tanker), hit 24 last night. So much time available to just do whatever ... which is both good and bad, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Although that might be true closing the MA would be the last thing on their list to do, not after all that promotion. If there is so many damage from the farming than it will be too late anyway.

I think the lack of new content is going to be the end of the game.

After all the promotion of the MA they will not close it...and they are taking action against farmers as we speak, there is a big thread about it in the announcement section.

When I wanted to check what things I would get when I get the next reward the URL of the link on the game account page on plaync.com site linked to this: http://eu.cityofheroes.com/en/community/veteran_rewards

For me, clicking it brings me to the Buddy code game trial thingy...

And now I still don't know what kind of things I will get because I haven't memorized the list...clicking on the veteran awards list in the menu(which is put under Community...) links to the same page...
