Let me put it this way. This is the only game community where I post pretty actively on the boards. Also where I am more on the forums then in the game. And I have played/play a lot of MMO's.
This has to do with how people post and sure sometimes there are trolls or players who take things to far even for my taste but that happens everywhere and I would hardly blame the entire community for that.
Ingame I cannot even remember any incident...mind you I play mostly on Union and now also on the Exalted server. Never any other server so I don't know how it's over there. Help chat I generally ignore.
The recent trend seems to be to complain about everything that is or is not in the store and whether it should be or not...that can be tiresome and can get pretty hostile. -
Never did anything with Incarnate stuff...because every post I read about it scares the heck out of me...alpha what? Merits? Waaah? iXP? Incarnate posts have the same effect on me as people who post about inventions and the market...I want to understand but I simply do not get it...you could be speaking Latin to me and it probably would make more sense.
And reading what kind of requirements or strategies are involved in completing a trial I'll probably get kicked out before I even get Practiced Brawler on auto... -
Darn, I wished they showed a scene with Stephen Fry as Mycroft Holmes. I am going to see this film. I loved the first one. Having Mr. Fry in the second is only an extra bonus.
It does seem to be more action oriented then the first though...not sure if a Sherlock Holmes film really needs that. -
I would have loved the option to tell her that Grym was planning something. It probably would not change the last mission but at least it would feel less like assuming Twinshot did it.

So, I finally finished the third arc today actually on my street justice/willpower brute, who is a retired pro fighter taking the fight to the streets kind of guy and I kind of see how the kiddo part could be annoying.
***Spoilers***
Not half as annoying as all the assumptions that Grym makes. (Me angry? No I wasn't angry at all...). That being said though I can read over such things and it doesn't bother me that much. What annoyed me more in the last level was the caption boxes going way to fast, not helping that the "Help" chatter was making the text disappear faster then I could scroll to read back fighting those annoying clockwork.
What I did like was the scene in the portal room. It felt pretty heroic lining up, apart from the enemies being way to easy.
And then it sorta ended....it somehow reminded me of the last quest of the legacy quest chain in Star Wars Galaxies, I had spent 52 levels or so doing everything related to that legacy quest chain and then it sorta ended...out of nowhere...not a real resolution or anything. If I was a new player like I was in SWG I would not no what to do next. Oh, and why do we need to go back to Atlas Park to talk face to face other then yeah, this is kind of a important character moment...(which it wasn't).
And what happened with Flambeaux? And why was Christian Slater in Star Trek VI? -
Yeah, if anything let us keep the weapon unless we choose to put it away by using another power or cancel the attack.
-
I don't remember this happening with the first SSA or any other TF I played. Yes, the TF things goes away but the team stays.
-
First thing I thought...Peter Parker surely would be in the top ten...never thought of Doc Ock though...I suppose he's pretty smart as well...
Love the trailer, really looking forward to this movie...even though I have yet to see the Cap America movie and Thor movie. -
As long as I can remember I don't have much success with flying in dreams. The odd thing is that I often dream that I know that I can fly and that I used to do it all the time but somehow at that exact moment I am unable to do so.
My dreams are normally pretty action packed but most of the time I'm more of a soldier kind of guy or at least adequate with weaponry and pretty athletic. This last week I was dreaming about being a chased by a car with a chainsaw on it's roof and the remote controll app was on my iPhone which was that car so I jumped through the window while the car was driving grabbed my phone and finally stopped the car...I was exhausted when I woke up... -
The only thing I don't like is in part three...because those damn Clockwork are not fun to fight...fun to watch...yeah...fun to fight? No....imho of course. And on my beam rifle/time defender I can understand...but with street fighting/willpower brute I should do better...but maybe I'm doing something wrong.

What does The Matrix Online has to do with the above scenario? (besides being from The Matrix movie).
Anyway, trainers in general, in this game but also in others always break the immersion for me, I guess it's a necessary evil so I really don't mind that much. If it could be dealt with a "phone call" or skip the whole "training" part by just having the UI I would welcome that. -
Maybe...although I am moving in two weeks and I might just be too busy with that to really focus on any writing, even after I reach my target date of having moved over on the 6th of November.
NaNoWriMo starts on November 1st CactusBrawler. -
Had that glitch a while ago to but I was too late to take a screenshot.

Panthera's Mask
This is is his normal fighting outfit. He also has an outfit from the days he was a professional fighter (basically tanktop, boxing shorts, wrapped hands and feet) and his training outfit. -
Love the set so far. It feels fast and strong (I am still pretty low level though). The thing is though when you are playing the low level tutorials there is just not enough to punch in a row which really bugs me. It was the first time I had something like: Less talking, more punching! What? Only three Arachnos troops? I need more!
Yeah, I like the set so far. -
When I see a topic like this I am so happy I couldn't care less about numbers. See, I like Street Justice because I think it looks cool and it feels good playing it.

That monster sure looks like it could eat a lot of fish

I was quite shocked when I heard the news this morning...it really came out of nowhere.
R.I.P. Steve Jobs. -
I liked the webisodes, will be interesting to see what they can come up with. It's probably going to suck...but it has the potential to become so bad it's good.

From their FB page:
Quote:As of September 29, 2011, the NPC Costume Powers have been removed from the Paragon Market. They will be undergoing further evaluation and as such we will be reintroducing them at a later time.
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding! -
I always will capitalize and punctuate. The excuse that this is the Internet and that it isn't important is...how to put it nicely....utter bull? However, it is only when people are using that excuse that it pisses me off. I really don't care if you make spelling mistakes or grammar mistakes. Heck, I probably made some of them already in this post but laziness isn't an excuse. I generally can understand chat speak just fine and it doesn't really bother me. Making mistakes myself will bother me so I will correct myself (so I hereby apologize to Bubbawheat in advance if I ever team with him
).
Once, a long time ago in this galaxy my windows live account was hacked and my friends knew it wasn't me because I didn't capitalize and punctuate my sentences...that was pretty awesome (aside from the hacking part). -

Most of my characters sort of have a secret identity. But that identity is not really realistic, they are mostly all businessmen who have the luxury of doing the superhero stuff and have a normal life (like I said, not realistic
). Think Tony Stark/Bruce Wayne kind of people. More Tony Stark though (my heroes are most of the time happy people who like to joke around). There are some that can't live without there outfit because otherwise they'd die so they basically don't have a secret identity.
Now whether I would go for a secret identity in real life...I thought about...and I just think that realistically it wouldn't work. As soon as people see someone with super powers then there is no escaping, not in this day and age. Of course if superpowers were "normal" in the world then people probably couldn't really care about another dude with telekinesis. I'd help were I could of course, probably without a suit. And certainly not spandex!

The neutrinos have mutated!
But seriously, I hope it isn't a mistake and that the news came out to fast before they could test it properly.
