Yeah, I've experienced it too. Going into a new mission usually solves the problem. I also had it that only one of my pets stayed while the others where still there but couldn't give them orders.
And I guess it's a bug. -

This is just nonsensical, in my opinion.
Inf is not a currency is the dead horse here...it became currency when the dev's added the trade system and Wentworths.
As for this idea...it just sounds like real bad idea to me. Collectors in missions? Loans? I think what Sigium said would happen all the time. -

Though I admit sometimes those are built out of who and what's there, I think those who have been in such ITF's won't mind teaming reformed superbeings.
I'm afraid that my MM won't be allowed to team because he has bots and forcefields and would be a reformed villain. I don't know where the "fear" is coming from...I just can see it happening with some people's strict rule to teaming. -
I was wondering about the other day, do the NPC villains have falling damage protection like we do? (so they can't be killed(ehm arrested) by being knocked of a building?)

Like Aett_Thorn said, influence and infamy became money a long time ago. It's just another name. If the devs were obsessed with not making it money, things like Wentworths or trading would not be added to the game(don't know how long trading is in the game though, could be there from the start...I don't know). Also, I'm not able to suspend my disbelief so far that my "influence" can buy me Improved Cybernetics from another hero.
The concept was nice but as soon as they started to add tangible objects in the mix it became very blurry.
So yes, I'm all for a bank.
And no, killing servers is never a good idea so let's not. -
That post made me think of a recent arc I played. Well, not the arc itself more the Operative that gave it to me. Operative Joe Varrass(I think) in Sharkhead. He also had this theory about heroism.
What a nice guy. I didn't feel like a lackey when working with him.
Can't say I have seen those complaints. Although with a thread about illusion controllers not being accepted in a team I'm worried about people not wanting to have reformed villains or rogue heroes in their team.(either because of RP reasons or powersets) -
I'm all for a server list merge. Don't see it happen though, which is a shame.

Well, in the mean time I got the official word, and the name Arthur is indeed banned because of copyright issues.
While I understand NCSofts vision on this and don't blame them for enforcing it, I think it's utter bull that someone. copyrights,trademarks, whatever legal term you want, a common name. A character yes I can understand. But a name?
Nothing I can do about that but still. -
Neh, I already decided to name him Craig. Unless that is somehow copyrighted too

Thanks, yes that actually makes sense. It's still utter ridiculous in my opinion but okay, I understand the reason behind it.
The only reference I had in mind was the Arthur in my avatar, and only by name(as that Arthur is an AI. My assault bot...is A without the I. -
Yeah I got his name was Arthur. So what? Do all the people around the world who name is Arthur have to pay to a company to have the name Arthur? Last time I checked Arthur was a common name, nothing really special behind it.

When I my first 50 dinged he immediately died because I stopped paying attention for a sec. That was after 15 months of play time and only because I forbid myself to play any other character till I at least had one 50.
I'm now at 36 months and still have only one level 50 hero. I also got a level 50 villain because I wanted to try out the VEATS. -

Okay, so I have this bots MM and I really want to name one of my bots: Arthur. As long as I play MM's I never was able to name one Arthur.
And I want to know why this name is added to the list of invalid names. Is it a name that is offensive to someone? Or what? -
Yeah, recently started to play my Bots/FF MM and this problem occurs a lot. I also never saw them doing a brawl attack, besides, I don't even want them to do a brawl attack. I want them(when soloing) to stay under my dispersion bubble. When I see it happen I usually use a goto command on my location but it would really help a lot if they could change the AI for not using brawl(whether they have it or not)

I already find the normal Flight way to slow to feel super, let alone wanting to have a form of flight that is even slower then that.
Not saying I wouldn't want hoverbikes/boards/gliders/younameit but I rather have it something like a customizable flight pool option instead of a new pool power set. -

So, yes, maybe numbers have gone down since 2007 or since the start of the game. Looks to me like that is pretty natural thing. Wasn't there a survey somewhere that stated that MMO players stick to a game for a certain amount of time? It is nowhere near dying though. And there are still new players coming to this game. Even in Europe.
They(NCSoft) obviously gain a profit from this game otherwise we would have shut down or server mergers or something.
Going Rogue will give a whole new area to play with and villains you never saw before and also heroes you never saw before. I personally can't wait to bring my MM to the Hero side. But I can think of some heroes of mine who could go dark.
The whole new area, the new sets and probably some other stuff are for me reason enough to buy GR on the EU side as I have no intention to start again on the NA side.
In the end, you don't have to buy the GR expansion at all. That's up to you, but don't go "threatening" you might go play CO as if that is going to make them consider merging the server lists. -
